I have really had a bad experience at each KFC I have been to in the last few years. Maybe I need to just stick to Popeyes. I was in here(inside) and the wait was very long, like 10 – 12 minutes for sure. The chicken was dried and tough, the sides OK, coleslaw and mashed potatoes. People seemed nice enough, they just serve crappy bird. Note to self-check on Unilocal before going into or stopping at KFC.

WoW, looks like I’m not the only one to complain about this spot! Yes, service sucks but this is not what I’m complaining about. I highly recommend to NOT eat here, they handle cash, clean up and handle the food all with NO gloves, very unsanitary!!! Just thinking about that makes me sick to my stomach, god knows what I’ve eaten!!!

This KFC needs immediate help. I contacted the KFC Corporation because I am seriously worried about this branch. I’m a huge KFC fan, and I continue to hope this place will improve, as I live just down the street, but sadly it’s as if the management or owners of this particular KFC just don’t seem to care. Last night I went there, hoping to get some good chicken(sometimes it’s good, it’s hit and miss at this branch). I ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders, and popcorn chicken, 2 mashed potatoes, 1 cole slaw and 2 biscuits, as well as a Dr. Pepper. I’m going to be completely honest, so please keep on reading. First thing is the wait is always 10 minutes in this drive through(no joke), but I’m used to it. Next, I get to the window and there are only 2 employees there. The lady ringing me up(who was also doing the cooking) and the young man sweeping the restaurant floors and cleaning the tables. He kept walking to the back with the broom and I think he was being trained. Anyways… so the nice lady(she was really nice) hands me the Dr. Pepper, and closes the window. I sit there waiting. I decide to take a drink of the Dr. Pepper, it had no flavor, just carbonated water. No big deal, this happens frequently at fast food restaurants, so I wasn’t upset at all, I just waited til she returned to tell her. During the time I sat there I watched her go to cook, and then return to the register and take orders from the cars piling up behind me. She was doing it all. She finally came back to the window 6 minutes later and handed me the bag of food, and I told her the Dr. Pepper was just carbonated water, so she apologized and asked if I wanted something different. I really wanted Dr. Pepper, but there was a huge line of cars behind me and I could tell she was doing it all by herself, so I simply said«Give me Pepsi, that is fine.» She left the window and came back in a moment and handed me the drink, which I thought was empty. I just said«Thanks» and drove off. I didn’t want to wait any more. When I got home, I looked inside the cup of Pepsi and found it was only half full. Whatever, I don’t care, I just wanted to get out of the line and I’m not a fan of Pepsi at all, so no biggie. In England and Wales(in the UK) it’s common practice to only get a half a cup of drink so I didn’t really care, to be honest, I was not concerned. What I found in the bag was more of a shock. I opened up the first container of mashed potatoes and saw only gravy. What was this? No mashed potatoes? I stuck in my spork and fished out a small lump of mashed potatoes the size of a teaspoon sunk at the bottom of a container of gravy. Um, really? Yes… Really. I opened the other container of gravy, and it was worse. It had less than a spoonfull of mashed potatoes. I stirred it up and then lifted a spork full and it was pure soup. This was gravy soup… seriously, there wasn’t even enough mashed potatoes in the gravy to thicken it at all. It was pure gravy soup. That was gross, I couldn’t eat that. So I figured I could at least dip my bread in it, or my chicken. The chicken popcorn was a tiny little mini container with about 10 pieces of the hardest round little over fried things I ever saw. I bit into one and it was hard as a rock. I looked inside and I didn’t even see any chicken. It was pure dough, deep fried in little balls. This was not good. I reached in and grabbed a chicken tender. Okay, they were not crispy at all. They were just very dried out, and bland. I ate a piece and made a face. My 20 year old daughter looked at me and said what’s wrong? I handed her a piece of the chicken and she tried it. She said«Eww, that KFC is gross!» I reached in the bag looking for the cole slaw, one of the things I figured they had to get right, because they do have the best cole slaw, but in fact there was no cole slaw in the bag, instead there was a container of mac-n-cheese, which I did not order. My daughter got excited. She loves mac-n-cheese. I gave it to her. She ate it and said it wasn’t even good, it tasted really old. I honestly don’t know what is going on at this KFC… but I want with all my heart for this KFC to improve. I really love KFC, but I can’t eat this crap they are giving me at this KFC! Please, someone help this place!

This is without a doubt, the worst lunch I’ve had in years. No plasticware for the mashed potatoes, chicken that tasted like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour, and they forgot my cookie. I WANTMYCOOKIE! Mix in some training!

They don’t seem to have a lot of the menu items that other stores have. Now they don’t carry hot wings??? Not much reason to go back…

Waited in the drive-thru for about 5 minutes with no answer. Drive to the front of the restaurant to see absolutely no customers and two of their employees texting on their phones. Poor service and no food.

So I felt like having grilled chicken again today. Paid my $ 5 dollars for a 2-pc. meal with runt size pieces of chicken and a side. I’m somewhat disappointed here but my expectations are low for this location. Completely thrilled… Someone must’ve read my review. ELPOLLOLOCO is coming to Santa Paula. What will happen to KFC Santa Paula?

I’ve never seen such a place as slow as this KFC and to top it off the older woman that works there is so rude I caught her talking smack about me when I had to come inside after waiting like 20 min for my food in the parking lot and by the way she completely refused to give me a receipt… Never going to this facility again!

Worst KFC I’ve ever been to as far as service goes! I called once to order ahead because they said the order takes 10 minutes to make and no one ever answered the phone. It must have rang for 10 minutes! Then when I get there I waited in the drive through for over 10 min after the car in front of me had just ordered. No one ever takes my order so I drive up and they say there closed! They did give me a Free order for next time but worst service ever!
