I went there for the first time and made an appointment! It was Sunday at 5 pm and at 6 they close. I told them I have my kid at the music lesson next door for an hour, so they knew I have only 1 hour time. I wanted a gel mani and a regular pedi. The salon seemed full and they sat me down. 1 spa chair was still free. After a 10 minute wait and my fingers wrapped in foil(with aceton to remove the former gel) they had other clients coming in, 1 lady getting that 1 empty chair before me and another lady was helped right away having her nails done. At 5.20 I got a spa chair after a client was done and the finished chatting. No one seemed to be in a rush! I was told«one more minute». Finally I have my feet in the tub, a lady came slowly to start doing my toe nails. She didn’t understand any english and didn’t understand my requests. I also asked who could do my hands and they kept saying«soon, soon»… The lady doing my feet was extreemly slow and didn’t really clean my cuticles. At 5.35 the manicurist said good bye to her former client, brought her out and kept chatting. By that time I was so annoyed and fed up by this treatment that I left the salon… still with the foils on my fingers! Never again!

One of the worst experiences. A couple of the girls were rude, and the one doing my pedi cut me. The one doing my gel mani was sweet but did a bad job and hours later it’s peeling off in the shower! Now I need to go back and ask them to re-do it. Nightmare.

I never write bad reviews but this experience was so bad and the price for service was extremely high. We Did not feel welcomed when we arrived. Dirty, run down solon. Unfriendly staff. They asked my boyfriend if he wanted a foot massage with his pedicure but didn’t explain that it would cost an additional $ 30 for the massage. Their prices are not transparent at all and they sneakily added services without disclosing them. I will never return. The place across the street is 100x better.

Amazing mani and pedi every time! The staff members are all talented, tools are clean and color selection is wide! I’ve been coming here for almost a decade!

Awful! Had to get my nails done in Santa Monica and chose to go here based on previous reviews. Needed to get a gel mani and reg pedi. Got my gel done and fast forward one week later my pink gel polish is cracked and has black lines running across. Waste of money and now I have to get them re-done and it’s only been a week!!!

I went when they weren’t busy and they were able to get me in right away. The manicurists were pleasant, friendly, and happy. They did a great job on my mani/pedi. They are a few dollars pricier than where I usually go. I am giving it 4 stars because there is not a sign anywhere saying cash only and no one informed me until I tried to pay with my credit card. No problem… they conveniently have an ATM in the salon. So, with the $ 3 fee the salon ATM charges and my $ 3 fee the bank charges, it cost me an additional $ 6. I think it is a big scam to make an additional few dollars for the owner via the salon ATM. My mani/pedi with tip ended up costing me $ 48. I have gone elsewhere and gotten both with tip for $ 35 – 37.

Amazing! I started coming to Tracy’s maybe in October? Never going anywhere else. I have my 1 girl of course, Hong. I’m reluctant to post her name, she might get too booked up and have no time for me I’m super OCD when it comes to my nails. (As you’ve seen in previous posts) Its very hard for me to stick with one place because I feel the work is never consistent. But I stumbled upon a specific manicurist, Hong, on a very desperate night. I needed a gel mani and pedi. I called after hours and they did not hesitate to take me in. Mimi did my toes and they were fantastic. The longest pedi that’s ever lasted. Hong did my gel manicure. Never have I had such an impeccable job on my nails. My biggest pet peeve is when they leave some areas that are not painted or when you can see the clear gel strokes on some nails but not others. Anyway, Hongs work is just incredible. I don’t have to tell her about any spots she may have missed, she knows exactly what I like without getting any polish on my cuticles. One time I went in there because I had seen someone else and one of my nails chipped. The girls were very attentive and fixed it right away. I found out later it was actually the owner. This definitely scored some points with me because she did not hesitate to take care of me and she was super friendly about it. No frowns, no attitude, and no questions asked like most places. After that day, they quickly made me feel like a regular. They already know me and who I like. I definitely recommend this place! I’ve seen 4 different girls and they’re all great, but Hong, that’s my girl!

Awesome if You get the right tech– otherwise totally hit or miss(usually miss). Sloppy, uncaring, rushed, not even a full pedicure if they can get away with it. But there are a few there that do quite well

If I could give this place a negative 10 I would… people that work here are rude and have horrible customer service… we walked in, my mom and her friend had appointments for manicures and pedicures and never received a manicure or an acknowledgment or an apology for never receiving one of her services.

Look me right in the eye and lie about it being a new nail file. No, do it. Really. I think it’s great.

Nancy is amazing. I have been coming to her for 12 years and recently followed her here. She is detailed, responsible, and just lovely. This salon has many great things — clean facilities, great aestheticians and good service. A major drawback is that there are NO current magazines! If they got some, I would be thrilled and much more generous on my rating. Hoping this will change. P. S.THEYADDEDMAGAZINES! HOORAY!

Big fan of Tracy’s nails. By far the cleanest nail salon. Everyone is usually friendly and helpful. I have had to wait on occasion even when making an appointment. They can be a little pushy with offering extra services — longer massage, callus removal, etc., but overall I trust the people who work there and have for the past 3 years. They are a bit pricier than other nail salons — between moderate and pricey!

Service is okay. I had my eyebrows waxed once and a manicure another time. It’s Clean. But they only take cash! Hello! It’s 2015. Take credit cards! There are ZEROSIGNS stating cash only. And on top of this.(I’ve been here twice now) — BOTHTIMES there ATM has been broken and they’ve asked me to walk 2 blocks to a union bank and return to pay them. No thank you. There are way too many mediocre nail salons to go to that take cards and are more convenient. If you’re only taking cash. Make a gigantic sign stating this. I wouldn’t have even entered the place knowing this or remembering this. And make a great effort to making sure your ATM is working if you’re expecting everyone in this day and age to have cash. Grrrrr. So frustrating

Good looking nails. Good job on my cuticles. «Massage» was too short. People were nice. But it was cheap enough. Cash only. Atm on premises.

Very disappointed by this place. People here are rude and hard to understand. As if the place wasn’t priced enough the manis/pedis try to sell you services and if you don’t buy they’ll start talking their own language and looking bad at you. I honestly didn’t like the environment, definitely not coming back here.

I love Tracey’s Nails — they always do a great job, my cuticles are in the best condition they’ve ever been in because Vicky trims them so well, the mani/pedi massages are the best. I truly enjoy and appreciate going there because, with my schedule, I cannot have a set nail appointment, they always accomodate me when I have time to get my nails done. And, it is always clean, the people that work there are always so nice and professional and it’s a pretty salon. And, my polish always lasts.

Just a quick tip: the storefront pic that is pictured is NOT what the storefront looks like. I was really confused by this, but don’t be alarmed because it’s just next door. I love this nail salon. It’s conveniently located 1 block from my apt so I can walk, but parking isn’t too bad; you can park on Montana or on one of the side streets like Euclid but careful about the parking restrictions! It’s very clean, updated, and has a really good selection of OPI and Essie colors. I kept using this one Essie color so many times that I ended up buying it, lol. They take their time and unlike other salons, I feel like everyone does a good, consistent job. The quality of the work is what brings me back over and over. Other nail salons that are cheaper or equally priced don’t do as good of a job as Tracy’s. Practically everyone here is a regular so that should speak for itself!
