All the five star reviews here are bought and paid for by Source Café. No way anyone could give five stars for nonexistent furniture and microscopic portions and no cooked meals.

Paleo chicken salad panini was INCREDIBLE. Will be back to try the salmon toasts soon. The flax bread is divine.

Popped in here today for a snack. First I would like to say its nice to see the Omelette Parlor(a old dirty place that was an insult to eggs. The diner-style 8-egg omelette with button mushrooms is played out anyways.) Great to see Source Café serving healthy, imaginative and very tasty food. While not a full service restaurant it’s still one of the tastiest places on Main. Stoked for the fresh air on the block. Hope the next joint can step it up.

I, for one, am happy to bid farewell to the omelette parlour and make room for a refreshing menu and pop up that chooses quality over quantity much unlike its predecessor in our hood. The coffee I had today was good, but the avocado toast really stole the show. Seriously, go try it right now. The sumac and cashew cheese tied the toast together and it was the perfect serving size. I felt good after eating it. I like this place even more because they don’t serve bacon(sorry, other reviewers, but pigs are awesome and smart and I just don’t get the obsession with murdering something just so people can have an artery-clogging snack).(End of rant) The lady working the register was super friendly and we had a really nice experience there. I say, give it a try before they leave if you are into healthier concepts.

I felt robbed after eating here. Ordered toast and a panini, which totaled to ~$ 22 including tax and tip. The toast was just regular ol’ toast with some honey and ghee aka butter. I think that’s how they justify charging $ 8 for toast, by making the ingredients sound more exotic than they actually are. The panini was the most disappointing. Plain, bland, and boring. We got the baked egg one. Steer clear of it! The lack of flavor and inspiration will surely upset you, no doubt. And FYI, they have no bacon. I know because we asked. I do hope they open a restaurant that serves more traditional breakfast foods like bacon, eggs, hash browns, etc. once the Source pops down. They leave in Feb.
