I’m buying my first Mandevilla from Charlie at Rose Garden Nursery today and as a new gardener, I know I’m in good hands. I’ve been by a few times in the last month or so to learn about what types of plants would be best for my patio. He’s been so helpful during each visit. It’s nice to know that businesses with personalized service from the proprietors still exists.

I did not have a good experience here. Nothing is marked, no descriptions of roses, no list of what was available was offered. The person who was there was new evidently and much more concerned about watering than trying to help me. I have close to 200 roses so I did not need extra help. I just would have liked to be able to find out what they had. I was prepared to buy several plants but ended up with only one due to very poor service.

Outstanding service, great experience. Please come here with some patience and time to spare. This may seem like an obvious statement regarding the selection of roses… an experience to learn and enjoy. But for some, everything has turned into ordering a cheeseburger at McDonald’s. They have a great selection, and what they don’t have immediately at hand they will gladly track down for you. The staff and the owner Charlie are passionate about roses and there’s plenty to learn from them if you spare the time. They also do landscaping. Did I mention all the electricity they use in the offices/check out huts are solar powered?
