I’ve been ordering from pizza hut on Pico in Santa Monica for 3 plus years. I’ve seen the quality slide so I stopped ordering from them. However, this week 3⁄10 /16. I thought I would give them another try sooooo. I went to order online but their online service wasn’t available. Then I asked for parmesan cheese n chili he said he only had a little n did think he would have any by the time I walked to pick up my order so I was forced to buy jalapeños.(I thought to myself, I’m calling in a order u have my $ but u can’t give me condiments…) Then I requested that all my stuff including n repeated 2 – 3 x to cook the 16 piece chicken be cooked well done n they didnt. In addition I was informed that a 16 pieces chicken wings order ONLY comes with 1 free ranch & so I had to pay for 2 addotional ranch dressing. I won’t be back.

Too oily and the taste is not really good. I think it has to do with the quality of the ingredients because it’s not just once that I’ve had a bad experience with the taste of the pizza. Also chicken wings are not Good at all!

Beyond terrible service. They took over an hour and 45 minutes to deliver. When the pizza finally arived they said they needed to see the credit card(Although I left it at home). The delivery man called the manager and he refused to leave the pizza after already charging it! I called the manager personally to ask for his name to call their corporate offices and he hung up on me. His name is marcus. Worst employee staff. DONOTORDER.

Pizza Hut — what happened a couple months ago? I was chillin’ with a friend and this Pizza Hut commercial comes on and we’re like aww yeah Pizza Hut. Throw in an order using an app. We order a meat lover’s pizza, and in the comments we write something like, «if you can, please bring some ranch dressing» A LONG time goes by, and we don’t know where it is, so we call and they say«oh, the ranch you requested in the comments is some small addtl charge, so we did not make your order. Since you’re calling us now, we are running your card and making your order.» Some chit chat ensues about how it is lame we were not contacted about this. At the end she asks, «so do you want the ranch?» «Yes!» She then cancels the transaction and runs the entire transaction AGAIN with the additional ranch charge, tying up funds on the card! Now we had to wait days for a refund for our first card swipe. If she told us she forgot to swipe the ranch, we would have declined it! She could have thrown us a 50 – 75 cent ranch for the troubles of waiting so long with no contact! Pizza came after hours of waiting, but was not even on Pizza Hut’s usual level. I mean what. happened?

Here’s a new update on my review of this Pizza Hut. For some reason, PH keeps deciding to «play around» with their dough recipe. It’s the bi-polar creators that are mucking up the program. The current crust is as gross, if not more, than it was before. Now, instead of that crispy doughy kind of Chicago-esque crust that they used for years, it has been replaced with a dull flavorless dry crust that resembles dominos, but with a whole lot of seasoning. The pizza is «ok» if they add a bunch of cheese to it but for some reason, PH wants to price gouge and not consider extra cheese as one of the toppings you can choose from… there’s a fee for the cheese. Very sad to see PH continue to slip down the rabbit hole but I have to give this location a star for the new staff I’ve encountered. They greeted me as I walked in and had good attitudes. Maybe in another 6 months the pizza will change again, and for the good or maybe this neighborhood will finally get a good reasonably priced pizza joint. Till then…

I just got a pizza from the most friendly delivery person I’ve met since moving here two years ago. Jose was kind, efficient, and went that extra step to ask how I was and wish me a good Valentines Day with a smile to boot! It really made my day. The pizza came hot and fresh and I might add the garlic flavored crust is absolutely delicious. Even came with a generous helping of cheese packets and crushed pepper. Thank you so much! With customer service this friendly and food this flavorful, I’m not sure I’ll ever order Dominos again!

WTH what kind of costumer service is this??? The guy that work every night there is amazing cool, but now I’m never going over there.

I called because I needed them to fix something and the manager straight up lied to me. Went to this location for pizza for a long time but they won’t even play ball to do right by me. Never going to them ever again.

So i know that today is a holiday, i figured«eh, how bad could it be». I placed my order and the girl informed me that it would take 30mins, so it DIDNOT take 30mins. About 2hrs go by and nothing. I called to see what happened, and apparently the order wasnt even placed so the time i spent on the phone with this chick that was so say putting my order in was a waste of time… we had to REPLACE the order and now have to wait another«30mins.» Which we all know wont be 30mins but an hour or so of a wait. all in all if it wasnt a holiday and if most stores were not closed, i would have avoided this place entirely.

I grew up on Pizza Hut personal pan pizzas and still love stuffed crust at the ripe old age of 27 today. However this place wasn’t that good. It just tastes too cardboardy, wasn’t really hot enough and just seemed kinda sorry for itself inside the bldg. Not not that I’d never get it again but maybe I’d try another location.

Pizza Hut is probably my favorite pizza chain. Their pan pizza has such a great golden buttery crust, and I just discovered their 3-cheese stuffed crust which just makes me feel SOGOOD. The workers at the Pico location were really nice, and I had no issues ordering my pizza through the Pizza Hut app(sign up for emails to get a free order of cheesesticks with your next order).

Not good pizza! Had there pizzas on 3 different times and not going back. First time it was tasty. The second time was disgusting. And the 3rd time was ok but nothing for me to go back. Only reason I gave it 2 stars was b/c of the first time eating there.

Check this out fellow pizza lovers. One day I went to this place on my way to go surfing. I was told that my pizza would take about 15 minutes or so. The place was basically empty. I thought I would take a peek since I was tired of playing with my iphone. I see this employee making my pizza… she was putting the toppings on it, but something caught my eye. She had this pink long fingernails and she was digging in these containers for ingredients(mushrooms, cheese, peppers, etc.). Yuck, how nasty,” I thought. Nobody else was paying attention or I guess this was very normal for other employees. First of all, as far as I know, it is against the rules based on Health Department, to wear any jewelry unless it is a wedding ring or/and also an employee should practice and make it a habit to be «CLEAN» …hygiene, if you know what I mean. Kind of like SUBWAY, where everyone wears gloves, which gives pretty good impression. Again, you never know. I think what I said is very straightforward if you get the message. I wondered where the supervisor was or how they interview new employees. Do they have some kind of handbook? What does Health Department say? Who knows! I only know that I have to think twice if I want to go dine out.

It is Pizza Hut so you pretty much know exactly what you’re getting. This rating is strictly based on their service. People there are friendly and try to accommodate you as soon as possible. That’s all you can ask for.

For the price, the pizza is decent. The cheese does have a funny aftertaste, but the toppings were flavorful on both the Meat Lovers and the Veggie pizza. Placed an order over the phone for pickup, and the pizza was ready in 20 – 25 minutes, as promised. Staff was curteous and on top of things — I would recommend this Pizza Hut over the nearby West LA location.

DONOTORDERPIZZA!!! ATTHISPIZZAHUT I have ordered pizza from this location before and the cheese was burnt. some areas of the pizza had no cheese just burnt bread. The next time I ordered I asked for them to not burn the cheese on the pizza. They delivered a raw pizza. I asked for a refund and they told me they could not give me a refund because that’s how I asked them to make the pizza. They said they can only make a burnt or raw pizza and they were not giving me a refund. NEVERORDERPIZZAFROMTHISLOCATION!!!

We ordered from these guys last night online and they totally screwed up the order. Wrong pizza… awesome! Called back and eventually talked to the manager who assured me they would have the correct one on the way asap! Kind of hard to argue that you messed up because I have my online order right here! An hour later we still haven’t gotten the correct food! I call back and they assure me that is will be on he way! An hour later guy shows up and wants to charge me for the corrected order! They did give me 8 free wings… woot! So done with this clown operation!

Dear Pizza Hut, After eating leftover Superbowl chili for 4 days straight, I decided to give my colon a break from spicy beans and took advantage of your aggressively advertised«any pizza for $ 10» special. I ordered a large pizza with chicken, bacon, mushrooms, green peppers and onions with stuffed crust($ 1 extra) and after tax it came out to about $ 13.(take out, didn’t opt for delivery since you’re right up the street) Most. Underwhelming. Pizza. Ever. The chicken was dry, the bacon was burnt, the toppings and sauce were stingy and the stuffed crust was tough and chewy. For the first time in my life, I had a gross, nearly TASTELESS pizza — with bacon. «Bacon» and«tasteless» should NEVER go together but somehow you made the impossible happen. An absolute aberration. Shame on you for somehow managing to ruin pizza, Pizza Hut. Never again. Sincerely, Ivy K., Bacon Lover/Pizza Hut Hater

I am writing this while I wait for my personal pan pizza. It has been well over an hour and a half of waiting when I was told it would take no more than thirty minutes. I’ve called twice and they keep telling me the driver is almost here. It is not that far. Their pizza is good but their customer service/delivery could improve.

I have never actually been to this Pizza Hut, but I do have them deliver to my house. I order online, just because I hate ordering on the phone. The food is always on time and hot. Usually it takes 45 minutes for them to deliver which is perfect when I am starving. I have never had a messed up order, which is a huge plus. Cannot complain about that. I know some of the local pizza places I use to order from would show up over an hour later and cold. ewww! Plus Pizza Hut has the cheese stick which totally takes me back to middle school lunch!
