The doctor herself seems very competent, intelligent and has very good bedside manner. However, her administrative and front office staff don’t seem to really pay enough attention about who is there, why they are there and being able to be more efficient and appropriate and handling new patients. The doctor runs on schedule, sings very compassionate, understandingand communicates well. I would definitely see her again and recommend her services.

Such a blessing to have found Dr. Goldfarb and her thyroid nodule clinic at St. John’s Health Center. My other doctor had prepped me to prepare for thyroid surgery during my pregnancy and I was really scared about it. I had all labs and thyroid ultrasound sent over to Dr. Goldfarb for consultation and I was happy that she did her own ultrasound and biopsy (and was able to get the results of the biopsy during that appointment.)
With great care and compassion she put my fears at ease, and made it possible to delay surgery until after the birth. She let me know she would only need to remove half the thyroid, not all of it. She took her time with me, answered all my questions, and was able to do all of this in one visit.
She also gave me a couple of local endocrinologists I could go to monitor my thyroid over the next 6 months (since her office is about an hour and half away). She gave me a plan to keep the thyroid monitored, and to see her again prior to scheduling surgery at the end of the year. She eliminated so much worry and stress and gave me an action plan I can follow.
Her exam of my thyroid was exceptionally thorough, and what would have taken numerous appointments over several weeks with numerous specialists, she took care of within one appointment, in under 2 hours.
I recommend anyone who needs her expertise, or who needs thyroid surgery, or has thyroid nodule (s) that require a biopsy go to Dr. Goldfarb. She’s truly gifted and gives her time and compassion unlike any doctor or surgeon I have ever come across.

Dr. Goldfarb is an incredibly talented endocrinologist. She demonstrates excellent communication and rapport, listening closely to every question and responding directly to every concern. Her calming temperament, coupled with her understated confidence, made me comfortable throughout my appointment. Her examination was exceptionally thorough, and I appreciated how she communicated the value of every step. While I haven’t required many appointments with specialists, I haven’t met a doctor who earned my trust as quickly as Dr. Goldfarb. I would recommend any family member or friend in need of her expertise, and I’m grateful to have been referred to her practice. Dr. Goldfarb is in a class of her own.
