Worst chinese food I’ve ever had. Could do better job on customer service. And sriracha hot sauce is mixed with water that’s why it is so liquid.

You don’t have to worry about being pahandled outside this place, because the panhandlers walk right in and beg for cash, while you eat! Not even kidding.

If you have a hankering for some greasy, unhealthy Chinese American goodness this is the place for you. Giant portions for super cheap, and the woman working is always super friendly. Only downside is it’s cash only. It’s essentially a family owned version of Panda Express.

It wasn’t that good at all. I ordered Kung Pau Chicken and got to my seat and saw that she put something else on my plate. I went to her and she said it was Kung Pau Chicken. I went back to my seat and decided to give it a try. It tasted like a bad pork dish. Tried to eat two bits of white rice but by that time I was so turned off I just walked it to the trash and dumped it.

I ordered a side order of chicken teriyaki which is chicken only. $ 3.65. It’s a big side order. The sauce was bit salty this time, sauce ingredients unknown, but overall good, with the chicken being tender. All tables have big bottle of sriracha sauce. Best priced food in Santa Monica, and quick and hot. This place is busy.

Located in the DK Donuts, Chomp Eatery, and 7⁄11 Parking Lot off Santa Monica Blvd. I didn’t have high hopes for this place as they had a very confusing menu. They had Chinese, Japanese, and Hawaian food. A lot of the food«looked» fresh and very Panda Expressish. A few of my friends and I came here and weren’t sure if the fish, meat, and poultry was actually made up of real meat. Attention: Don’t be lured in here by price and portion cause 7⁄11 might have fresher food.

I’ve read a lot of the reviews on here and I want to know where some of these people have been eating. I’ve been coming to this place for almost 20 years and in all that time the food has always been fresh and the portions have always been large. The selection is not as large as some places but for what they have it’s always good. I have eaten at quite a few Chinese fast food places and lee’s is by far one of the better places. And as far as price you can’t beat it, almost half the price of what you would pay at other places.

pretty tasty and very fast chinese food. but keep in mind it’s all pre-made and sitting under heat lamps waiting for you. nothing is cooked to order. also, it’s cash only, boo. the service was friendly though.

This place is what you would expect I’m good quality but unexpected in cleanliness, friendliness and quantity. Can’t find better food for cheaper in Santa Monica. Staff is super adorable.

Ok chinese Cheap for santa monica. Kung pao chicken is good but the spicy chicken tasted a little stale. Noodles was great. Cash only.

If you are looking for unhealthy American style Chinese food, this is your spot. I came to this corner to see if DK Donuts’ food tastes as good in daylight as it does at 3am, but never made it there because I wondered into Lee’s and couldn’t resist after being engulfed in the smell of greasy Chinese food(I was coming straight from the gym, so I didn’t feel too guilty). I asked for Combo A(chow mein, fried rice, and one side), but the employee misheard me and gave me Combo B(same, except with two sides). I decided not to correct him because it was only $ 1 more and I’d get to diversify my lunch. I chose the teriyaki chicken and some other dish with meat, veggies, and sauce. The food was good. Definitely not great, but tasty and what I expected. The best part is that they give you sooo much food! My combo lasted me three and a half meals! The $ 6.50 I paid makes it cheaper per meal than McDonald’s, and better tasting too!(Sorry Natalie ;))

Found this place on Unilocal and it was exactly as it appeared on here — a three star chinese take out place. I got the broccoli/beef and orange chicken. It was decent. Best part was the chow mien. I’ll probably go back.

Been going on-and-off for 10 years. At first the huge gigantic fried rice portion which filled up the container was amazing, especially for the price. But after attempting lower-carb, I switched to: Beef and broccoli, fried fish, and one of the other meats; three singles in one container for $ 8.25, and is enough for two big dinners, or three small ones. They overall have a spicier flavor, which is perfect. And always tip $ 1

This is American style Chinese food. Sometime I crave this greasy mock up of Asian cuisine. For $ 7, you can get a 2 item combo that includes fried rice and chow mein. The owner likes to stuff the clamshell box until it is overflowing and he can barely close the lid. The food itself won’t win any awards for flavor or presentation but you know what, it doesn’t matter. It is cheap and filling. Keep your expectations low. When you finish your meal here, hop next door and get yourself a cronut for dessert. CASHONLY

My son and I ate there for lunch today. 16.95 for the two of us, I figured«golly what a great deal!.» This is genuinely the worst chinese food I have ever had. I have eaten chinese food in strip malls in the deep south. I’ve eaten chinese food in granada, spain… Nothing can compare to the discomfort, distention, and overall gross feeling. Congratulations Lee’s, I am done with chinese food for a good 6 – 12 months.

For the price you pay, the food is delicious. Only bad thing I would say is they don’t take card. This is the 21st Century!

I was heading to a medical appointment and needed to grab something quick to eat. I spy with my little eye, Lee’s Chinese Fast Food! SCORE! Well, not really. The restaurant is a little hole in the wall located right off of Santa Monica Blvd and 16th. It’s a fast food style place that offers a starch(noodles or rice) plus 2−3−4 choice combination plates. The choices of main dishes range from Chinese to Thai style dishes — orange /sesame chicken, eggplant tofu, shrimp, fried pork, fried fish, beef broccoli, etc. I got the noodles and two choice dish — eggplant with tofu and the deep fried fish. The noodles looked really delish, but was very bland and lacked flavor. The eggplant with tofu dish was actually average tasting — generous portions of eggplant and deep fried tofu in a brown gravy. The fish was not tasty — it tasted like deep fried talapia(?) that had a muddy taste and the dish had no flavor. I eneded up taking about three bites of my food and decided to leave it outside for one of the many homeless people that were hanging out outside the restaurant. I’m glad that someone was able to enjoy the food(instead of me throwing it in the trash). Food Grade: D — Service Grade: D–(Lady at the counter was very rude). Worth the Money Grade: D Overall Impression Grade: D–
