I seldom give one star reviews. If I could, I’d give this place 0 stars. Ordered a chicken melt and said no bacon. Foods come out and there is bacon in it. I tell them no bacon and because they don’t have a good grasp of the English language, they seem confused. I then see them throw the bacon off of the sandwich and use the same chicken. Oh hell naw! I tell them to use new chicken and they do. Get the finished product and it sucks. So overpriced and mediocre. First time eating at a Johnny Rockets and will be the last time as well. Absolutely terrible.

Went here the other day for their $ 9AMC movie ticket special(buy an entrée plus fries or drink and you can buy up to 2 movie tickets for $ 9 each). I ordered the Johnny Rockets original burger and the $ 2 unlimited fries. Great value for the fries and movie tickets, but the burger –No way! It’s $ 7 for a small, average hamburger. McDonald’s shits on it. Word to the wise: go there at night. Lunchtime is incredibly crowded and service is slow. You’ll be waiting for at least 30 mins for your burger.

Overpriced and really not that good. Sucks that I have to write more to get this review up because Unilocal really needs more text. My son had a single burger, soft drink and a fry, I had the philly and paid $ 21. Felt kind of ripped off

No complaints here! The food is always great, and the customer service is spectacular! Today I orders a bacon single and it was cooked to perfection.

I come to this Johnny Rockets all the time as its right by my job and I really enjoy there chilli cheese fries. That being said, I can not stand the people that work here. Whenever they take your order it always feels overwhelming, simply because no one seems to have a strong grasp of the English language and it’s a struggle just to plavlce your order. I don’t understand why no one on staff speaks fluent English. Not just enough to get by. English. When 90% of your customers speaks English why would you not at least hire an English speaker to take the order and let everyone else cook. The emloyees tend to just stand around watching soccer on their phones. Everyone is rude. Just don’t come to this one. I’m done with that place. And avoid the person name Alex. He’s an idiot.

I ate there at 4:30pm today, and aside from an apple this morning that was the only thing I had eaten. I had a burger(«the original»), and a coke. An hour later I began experiencing symptoms of food poisoning, and I’ve been absolutely miserable since then. I work in the mall, and I eat there for lunch occasionally. Their food has made me physically ill three times now.

The food here is great, but the customer service here is awful. You might ask yourself«it’s just an order and pick up restaurant what could be bad?». Well when I came here with my friend and he had a groupon for a discounted meal. Once I ordered my food he pulled up the groupon so the manager could scan it. The manager gave a blunt«sorry it doesn’t work, next!» My friend thought that that was a bit ill-mannered of him, so he persisted. «Can you please try it again?» The manager scanned it again and said«you can only redeem these once you know?» In an accusatory form. My friend then told him«well if it doesn’t work you can punch in the code». The manager then said«look are you gonna buy it or not?» Which confused us both — his rudeness and lack of effort. After some time, of trying and failing, he gave the food to my friend because he – and I quote — «didn’t want him wasting his time». We would have just let it slide and my friend would have payed for the meal if the manager wasn’t so rude.

I ordered a smokehouse burger, and Oreo Shake, and a root beer. I got a rocket single, an orange dreamsicle(whatever the hell that is) and no drink… Wtf? Did not get a single thing right. Not that difficult. I will not be giving them my money again.

I am a vegitarian. They cooked my food with meat patties and added bacon, so I asked if they could cook me another one, then the cook slammed my burger in the trash! Haha. It was so stupid, then he keeps giving me looks like, «stupid girl, why don’t you just take the bacon off» and it’s fine, I’ll just take my money back. Then Alex(the manager) says«Oh it’s ok he’ll make you a new one and you won’t have to pay for it» then the same employee through the new burger in the trash! And Alex says, oh well and by this time he was unwilling to help so I was over it. You(Johnny Rockets) guys suck. Be normal… at least. #Weaksauce

The greasiest burger I’ve ever had. So bad the bun was soaked. Couldn’t even eat it. 1st time, last time.

After standing in line for 6 mins behind 2 people with my cup in hand cap off. i finally ask for a refill and he knows its coming. and says its 55 cent for a refill. he could have at least told me as i was inline since he knew i was waiting… this was after i found hair in my ranch and waited patietly for 2 mins just for warm yellow ranch. Bad service, not attentative, you have been warned about the hair in your food, the uncourteous manners and inconsiderate service. At least give me a free refill after i found pubes in my food. Remember its the lil mexican kid that bags your food and the old man at the register with couliflower ears… sketch workers, go eat at the other johnny rockets on 3rd street the 3 min walk is worth not feeling sick afterwards

Was at the promenade with my son. Ordered a vanilla malt shake. Still waiting 20min for this to go drink. Lots of staff standing around without good management. And lots of people waiting for their orders. Malt was good tho.

Called in my lunch order, they said they didn’t have any order. The manager didn’t even seem to care, more worried about the song and dance then getting my order. Never coming back.

What a waste. Santa Monica Place is a great mall, but the food court is subpar. People on this area are looking for good, healthy, and unique food. Johnny Rocket’s is none of these.

I usually go to the Johnny rockets at the promenade but I was walking around trying to find something else to eat and I couldnt so I gave this johnny rockets at the mall a chance .The cashier is inexperienced he didn’t speak Spanish like everyone says but his English wasn’t very good. when I got my shake, it had a terrible presentation with the drink spilling outside the cup. and the manager is grumpy as shit and he gave me some greasy soggy fries called my other and turned around didnt even verify or smile at me no customer service what so ever, the only thing decent was my burger I just won’t be back.

They screwed up my order 3 times because they can’t understand English. I am sick and tired of going to a place to have the staff assume everyone speaks Spanish. This is America and in case you have not noticed everyone speaks English. The staff at this place all speak Spanish with no regard as to whether anyone can understand them and don’t care. How hard is it to speak English at your place of work when all your customers speak English. Generations of my family didn’t die for this country so people can come over here and try to high jack the system with Spanish because they don’t want to speak or learn English. I won’t be coming back to this place. Learn freakin English.

This place is great if you want to grab a burger or milkshake between shopping or strolling around SM Place. While it is a bit overpriced, the portions are huge, so you get what you pay for. It’s always busy on the weekends, so prepare to wait in line for a few minutes. I always have good service here. The manager is very friendly and keeps the place running smoothly.

The food here is pretty amazing. I am from the valley and we do not have one of these around so everytime I am around one I make sure to dine here. Their good is fresh and yummy. I personally can’t leave without a shake. I recommend this place highly!

This location has a limited menu, inflated prices and does’nt have all you can eat fries. Do yourself a favor and walk a block up the promenade to the good Johnny Rockets. They have been there 10+ years, have better prices and most importantly, all you can eat fries!

I love the Johnny rockets here!!! It’s located in the mall, and they are quick. I ordered my original burger, and I got it like in 1 minute! The burger was fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly too!
