Come here expecting the best, and the best you shall receive. I asked the cook to bring me whatever he wanted and consequently experienced the best Mexican meal I’ve ever had. And this place doesn’t even specialize in Mexican cuisine! It’s just that good and that committed to making everything as authentic as possible. My meal was an assortment of eclectic tacos. The tortillas were handmade, warm right off the skillet. There was fried lobster, lamb, goat mole, chicken gizzard, tongue. The presentation was amazing, too. You will be well taken care of here, guaranteed.

If you enjoy specialty cocktails, exceptional ingredients and a home style type dinner, this is the best place in Santa Monica — if you can actually get a reservation.

My friend and I were really excited about going to this place and we drove there and, SURPRISE! Nothing! Nada! It’s a house in a residential area. We called them snd nothing but the answering machine. The place does not exist. That was weird.

Came here with my gf after we cruised through Santa Monica and were tired of the usual. The food: OHEMGEE!!!1! I don’t know how we didn’t know about this place earlier. Menu changes DAILY. The chef PERSONALLY attends to you. It’s like you’re royalty. 6 stars!!!

This is home cooking at its best! Adam is an excellent chef. I especially like how he took the time to explain the cooking process to me, allowing me to taste the various spices he was using… he knows what he’s doing! A delicious meal, with a relaxed, casual/hip vibe. Thanks, Adam!

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s a pop up operation that transforms an everyday kitchen into a delightful, one of a kind culinary experience, with top notch service from an amicable chef. Seriously worth a visit.

This new restaurant is a gem! I feel like my prayers have been answered. Parking is a little rough but once you figure out how to enter the code for the gate you are welcomed into a wonderful abode. The special of the night was craisons followed by kale pesto and baked pita chips as an appetizer and tuna tare tare with homemade hot sauce as the entrée. Mochee was offered as a desert but I didn’t eat any because I was so full. The meal was prepared quickly and the chief took care of my urgent need for food. some tips: –Make reservations 2 days beforehand(at least). –Come hungry. –Get dressed up. There’s a strict dress-code that the website failed to communicate. I would highly recommend this place. I love it! Come and see what all the fuss is about!!!

My wife and I made plans to head over for the advertised lobster night and were completely disappointed. Upon entering, we were told that that the restaurant was fully booked for the night, but as we looked around, we only saw one very large man seated at the communal table for six. No explanation was offered, nor was a simple«thank you for coming, but try again another night». My only guess was that this large man ate the entire bounty of lobsters. It seemed they didn’t want our business. I doubt we will give this place another shot. Sorry, but in a town built on first impressions, satisfying the customer the first time around is extremely important.

My wife and I always pass by and finally we said lets try it. We were resistant at first because of the ambiance but now we are kicking ourselves we didn’t try it sooner. I call it my hidden gem. No one really knows about this place which makes getting a table very easy. Now again the décor leaves a lot to be desired but the food was great. I started with the Duck sliders wrapped in cabbage and my wife had one of their home made beers yes literally home made beer. It all just got better with every course. I will come back again very soon and really can’t wait. It’s the type of place you keep thinking about later into the week. That is saying a lot.
