Good food from what I remember but the business has since closed down and voicemail has not been updated since October. Unfortunate. Ended up going next door to Nick’s Café. Ended up getting a great Corned Beef and Hash there. Great breakfast but really was hoping for lunch. Oh well.

Reviews look good so I wanted to get a sandwich… Phone number was a little strange and the voicemail mentioned that they were closed for an event back in October. Odd. So, I drove there… This place is CLOSED for renovations. That might be good information on the voicemail. They may be good — I have no clue.

I will need to come back a second time because we didn’t get to try their #1 talked about item — the truffle fries. Well, we did, but to our surprise, they were brought to us with Thick Cut Fries??? Clearly their fries from the Unilocal photos were all thin cut, so I was confused. When I asked why they were thick cut, he said they purchased the wrong fries from the market — it would have been much more appropriate to tell us that beforehand because I would not have ordered them, so that was really disappointing and honestly felt a bit dishonest. Our sandwiches were good, we orders the Buffalo Chicken and the Chicken Brie sandwiches. The chicken Brie was sweeter than your average sandwich. The bread was grilled to perfection and the consistency and flavor was great! The Buffalo Chicken sandwich had a pizza-like flavor to it, and I didn’t taste the blue cheese. I was hesistant about the Chabatta bread, but it came out crispy & soft, absolutely delicious. I’m lookin forward to trying a different sandwiches from their diverse menu next time we go. The wait time was quite long — approx 30 minutes, if not more, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. If I had been in a rush or extremely hungry, this would have deterred me from making this a regular lunch spot without calling ahead. The owners were extremely friendly and passionate about the food, because it wasn’t busy, he took his time exposing some of the different sandwiches and unique coffee-drinks on the menu. I plan to eat here again and look forward to having a different experience and will update my review accordingly.

Our food took 25 minutes to come out and we were the only people in the restaurant. The good news is that once the food came out, it was delicious. It seemed like they had a few problems with delivery orders being wrong(we could hear the phone conversation at the register), so there was all kinds of crazy things going on. Just as we were about to get upset about how long it was taking to get our food, the food came. So that was good! If we had to wait any longer heads would have rolled! Just kidding. But it was inconvenient(also bad customer service!) to wait so long.

PASS!!! We were the only customers in the place and it took 30mins to get our food. Then when our food came there was BARELY any meat on it(apparently they weigh out their meat and are very stingy about the portions) one sandwich was burnt and honestly it just wasn’t very good at all. What a waste of $$$! Spend your money elsewhere like nicks diner next door!

Do yourself a favor and get a sandwich from somewhere else. The sandwich took almost 30 minutes and there was little to no meat on it. For a $ 10 sandwich I expect more. Didn’t try their burger, but I’d stay away from the sandwiches.

From the gate, I love this place. It’s clean. Really clean with nice tables and chairs as in actual wood that’s solid with a nice wide seat. Family owned, it looks like it’s ready to claim a revered spot in the neighborhood. And if outside is your thing, there’s a nice covered patio. Now for the good part: the food was slamming. Great menu without being too much. Primarily burgers(!!!) chicken sands, gourmet-ish and salads. Pretty sure I also saw a tuna melt. On the chalkboard specials I found a burger called the Southern Stud. It was huge and GOOD with garlic aioli, fried onion, bacon, cole slaw, provolone cheese and bar-b-Que sauce on a brioche bun. I need another one of those SOON. The fries sprinkled with some sort of lemon yumminess and feta were out of this world. I think I feel lunch coming on! They were SO good.

This review is for their food truck that parks on Wilshire Blvd. between San Vicente and La Jolla on Wednesdays. Ehh. I have been eyeing this food truck for about a month but always miss the chance to stop because I have an appt. every Wednesday at that time. Last week my co-worker said she would grab us some food from Holy Aioli while I was at my appt. I was all for it until she told me they weren’t there(I freaked) but luckily for me she went to the food truck row at LACMA. So as soon as I arrived at the office I RAN to Holy Aioli. If you’re wondering why I emphasized the fact that I ran it’s because I am unable to run. I am awaiting hip surgery so running any amount of distance is a pretty big deal and forbidden per doctor’s order. TMI yeah I know but this is how desperate I was to try this truck. So I order the Duke of Milan and regular fries. The staff was fun and friendly. I got back and I dived into my meal. I enjoyed the sandwich and my co-workers were wondering what smelled so good, my mouth**ken sandwich that’s what. I ordered the regular fries and they were delicious but decided that next time around I would get them well done. Anyway my coworkers and I decided to go the following week, today. So this is where it goes downhill. I order the Player’s Club and Greek Fries. The Player’s Club«mixed greens» was iceberg lettuce. My fries were not well done and cold. The walk back to the office isn’t far and my last visit my fries were skill HOT. Also my Greek Fries were WEAK. They’re described as «Our classic Fries tossed with garlic, parsley, lemon zest and feta cheese, served with a side of our sun-dried tomato Aioli.» I got wilted fries with feta… only feta. No lemon, no garlic, no parsley, no sun-dried tomato Aioli, no LOVE. I understand forgetting one ingredient but they forgot all but one ingredient. Had I known this I would have saved my buck and ordered regular fries. Now my co-worker ordered the Super Luigi. Her sandwich did not have the roasted red pepper or the pesto aioli as described in the menu. She also asked for the fries well done and they weren’t. They were wilted. Chewy and not crisp. Running out of ingredients in a food truck is common but normally when that happens the customers are told and some employees go as far of suggesting a modification or another dish entirely. This did not happen. I paid my money with the expectation that they are making what I have ordered and that did not happen. I take my food seriously or else I wouldn’t have a Unilocal account so the mere fact that there is no consistency in their«product» is keeping me from going back.

Great food, reasonably priced, but okay service. I’ve been in here a few times and the food is outstanding. The service on the other hand is a bit on the lacking side. On my previous visit, the cashier took my order but never even bothered to offer the special that is written out on the board. I only saw it after I paid for it. I figured it was an over sight and left it at that. The next visit, the damn cashier spent more time rocking out to the music than actually acknowledging that there was a paying customer standing in front of him. It took me making eye contact with the owner to even get the guy to speak to me. When he did, no apologies, no light hearted jokes, just a forced«are you ready?» like I was bothering him. For $ 20 a little bit of decency goes a long way. When he gave me my change? All in nickels. When another family came in, he had no problem speaking. When I thanked him for bringing me my food — crickets. Lacking service twice in back to back visits does not a repeat customer make. Great food but they need to hire better people.

Wow!!! Seriously delicious! My sandwich could not have been more perfect. The ingredients were so fresh and had such a perfect harmony. Everything on their menu looked good, I tried the chicken Brie sandwich and was very happy. Grilled chicken breast topped with honey mustard aioli, arugula, sliced Brie, onion marmalade, grilled on sourdough! I’m definitely coming back here again! This place used to be a food truck, now turned café!

Really tasty burgers! I tried Juicy Lucy and the Guacamole burgers. Both are super juicy and fresh. We ordered delivery and they got the food to us really fast. I was very happy to see that the fries were not soggy. Who’s the genius who thought to poke a hole in the container to let the steam out? I love you! Haha… I’m serious when it comes to my fries. Will be ordering again!

Also if you check in you get a free drink ! I got home with the goods to share with my partner in crime & boy did we boost some great food from this place the sandwiches were both stupendous in flavor & in texture & the bread they use is really Fresh & great tasting ! So we ate those like they were going out of style & the truffle fries were the icing on the cake so so scrumptious ! Holy Aioli that was some awesome food !!!

I was excited to see another well-regarded food truck open a Brick and Mortar in my neighborhood. I should point out: I had never tried the food truck, but I’ve seen them all over town. The staff was friend and the service prompt. The menu looks great, though I was disappointed in my Big Daddy’s sandwich — the menu lists it as «panini grilled», when in fact it’s toasted on a flat-top, and served basically like a(greasy) grilled cheese. It’s a small distinction, but the difference in the grease-factor is huge. What really caught my attention was the beverage situation — your only option is to purchase bottled water or bottled(fancy) beverages. I asked for a cup of water and was told that only hot water was available(from the espresso machine). The café is new, so I asked if they were waiting on a soda fountain(there was a large open space that would have been a perfect spot) — and was told that they didn’t want a fountain, or the roaches they attract(strange comment, right?). Anyhow, I had already paid and I prefer to avoid bottled water anyhow(very wasteful) so I ate the sandwich dry — less than ideal — but such is life. I try to put myself in the business owners shoes whenever possible. I get it that you’d rather sell a bottle than give away tap — but I think it’s a pretty reasonable expectation from a BnM establishment. Maybe they’re having trouble transitioning from their food truck ways?

You really got to try those Steak fries!!! Holy Aioli sauce, steak, carmelized onions(that gives it a sweet savory taste) and crumbled blue cheese over a bed of fries. The taste is explosive!!! :) Juicy Lucy(cheese burger) has always been one of my favorites too! Cheese infused patty that is so juicy … your mouth will never be the same and keep you coming back for more. Can’t wait for my next visit! Want to try more on the menu. The portions, quality of ingredients just make it impossible to experience all they have to offer in just one visit. But, it only takes one visit to make it your new favorite place to eat. I’m hooked! :) Nice clean friendly environment… fresh ingredients and nothing like I have ever tasted! Highly recommend… what cha waiting for?

I noticed Holy Aioli recently opened up down the street from where I live. I loved the name and was intrigued, so I did some research. Holy Aioli used to be food truck and was super successful so the owners opened a restaurant under the same name. Family-owned restaurant with great and attentive service. Food was extraordinary we ordered truffle fries, the Chicken Brie sourdough melt special was bomb. We also ordered the Juicy Lucy burger which had this amazing chipotle aioli. One of the owners came by to check and make sure all the food was to our liking(it definitely was!) and he was a really nice guy. Food was delicious, service was great. Overall a great experience. Will definitely be back!

I had The Last Supper and it satisfied on all levels: crunch of the almonds and green apple, and seedy bread, cool coleslaw, sweet cranberries, salty turkey. Yum. The latte was ok. Friendly owners were at the counter and making the food. The day I visited they had a «foie gras burger» for 24.95, which is pretty bold/entertaining! Fries looked pretty tasty. I live in the neighborhood so I will probably be back to try the burgers. I saw they have done carne asasda fries on the truck– hopefully those make their way onto the menu. Pros: Fresh and flavorful food. Intelligencia coffee. Cons: Relatively expensive(Paid over $ 14 for a regular sized turkey sandwich and latte…)

Happened upon their new café on Pico at La Cienega by accident. What a pleasant surprise. Great food, great vibe, great service, great prices, great value. So excited that this truck just opened their first brick & mortar spot near my house! I’ve only had their sandwiches before(Chicken caprese is incredible). Today I tried their burgers. Wow. Their burgers are beyond amazing, specifically the juicy Lucy and slaw burger. Truffle fries are epic. Parking is limited in back so I parked on the street. In, out, easy, tasty. Done. A little pricier than I would like for a daily ritual but certainly worth the price considering the quality.
