Danny’s Tacos

Horrible customer service. Food is whatever. My California burrito basically had no guac and a ton of onion. They charge $ 1 fee to use your credit card.

Not authentic at all. They use ground beef instead of Adada. They even put ground beef in my wife’s «veggie burrito «. They park near the pier, so they cater to tourists. Maybe the tourists don’t know the difference. $ 1 service charge for credit cards

Iv only had one thing from here (the California Burrito) and its amazing! It actually has French fries inside of it. They Usually park on Ocean in Santa Monica (by the promenade) so ill walk over on my lunch break every so often. Kinda pricey in my opinion, but I can say the burrito is beyond filling. Overall I always receive fast and friendly service so they have my business.

Worse tacos of my life… yes it’s super cheap and a great deal but I can go to an actual sit down nice restaurant like El torrito and get the tacos .50 cents cheaper and they taste magnificent. 1^st of all the tortillas weren’t fresh, quite doughy in fact… as I picked up the taco to take a bite instantly my taco tore with all my meat and cilantro all on my plate. Secondly the meat wasn’t cooked well at all and was barely warmed up/​Luke warm when they gave it to me. Lastly… for a small taco /​food truck they are really expensive. yes, I get it that you’re on santa monica beach/​the pier but come on… i asked what the burger combo was and she told me 9 dollars… really and that was just with fries and the burger… no drink. I’ll never go here again. I don’t care if I’m hungry I’ll pass… I’d rather go in the santa monica mall where it’s pricey as well but at least I know my food will be made right.

Do they have healthy permit?, if you don’t care that and you care more about prices everywhere this is good option for you

The truck is usually parked on Ocean by 11 am. Authentic street tacos DF style. I tried the al pastor, carnitas, and camaron (shrimp).
Al pastor — damn good
Carnitas — a bit dry, but tasty
Camaron — hella good
Washed it all down with a Mexican Coke.
I walked away stuffed and $ 10 lighter.
