My friends all agree — on a scale of 1 – 10, it’s a «solid 4». Hence the two-star rating here. We only go here because the location is convenient. The food is usually abysmal, but on some occasions it’s better. However it’s encouraging that they actually got rid of the female manager who was there on Saturdays, who seemed to do nothing more than check cash drawers, never assisted customers who returned to the counter, and denied any issue reported. Tip if you like Coke Zero and dine-in: the self-serve fountain hasn’t worked properly since about January 2015, and despite repeated reports, they haven’t been able to assemble a brain trust to repair it. So be sure to ask them to fill your cup at the fountain behind the counter, it’s actually pretty tasty for fountain Coke Zero. If they point you back to the self-serve, tell them you would use it if it worked.

Looks like they have fixed things. At least for the lunch hour. New peeps that get it right. They use the order screen now so you can see the accuracy of your order and even get the drink order correct. Maybe they do read Unilocal and do care about their restaurant. Seems they got rid of the lazy afternooners and found people that can actually get an order correct that has two items on it. Kudos to you guys. You made me a fan again.

I go here occasionally as my errands dictate. Not going to go out of my way for fast food anywhere. Today I tried the 2 for $ 3.00 Chili Hot Dog. It has Chili, Diced Onions and Mustard. It come in a foil bag with a tray liner that doubles as a Hot Dog Holder for clean eating. I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised. The cost of $ 1.50 each is slightly higher, but it is better than Der Wienerschnitzel. Place was clean and got serve within 2 minutes. The line had 3 people in it so they opened another register.

I enjoyed most that I paid $ 6.66 for my regular order. I always ordered a superstar burger without tomatoes nor onions and got it right every time. There ain’t much more to say, I got my order fast and everything worked out well. I give 4 out of 5 because the place looks more like a death row than a restaurant but I ordered to go so I don’t give a fork.

Just got home from getting my food at this store. Man, was I pissed. I was so pissed that I wanted to call them, but then I thought I would write this review even though more likely no one would do anything about this. I got myself a Santa Fe Charbroiled(number 14) and also«bought» a spicy chicken sandwich, my favorite. My order came so quick, so I told my partner to check if they had given us the right sandwiches. The drive-thru cashier, a thick one, just kept staring at us instead of saying, «is everything okay?» Once we got home, I unwrapped her sandwich first and to my surprise, it was flat, as if they sat on it. The lettuce was coming out on one side and the chicken was coming out of the other side of the bun. The bread was so soggy and the chicken so hard and cold. I kind of fixed it for my lady. I took everything out and built it nicely, but she realized that it was a piece of shit. I then proceeded to take a bite of my spicy chicken sandwich. As soon as I took a bite, I realized how hard it was. I seemed like the bread had been sitting around for days. Then, it also had stains that I think it was spoiled. I then thought that we should have gone to McDonald’s across the street. My partner threw hers away. Of course who knows if someone from the store actually read these reviews and actually do something about it, but I thought I would write just to get my anger out.

This was the first time I came to this Carls Jr location, and it will definitely be my very last time I’ll be in this store. I normally don’t write reviews on fast food restaurants, simply because I believe fast food restaurants are meant, as worded, fast food orders, but man, this place should be Carls Jr, AKA«I really don’t give a flying(you know what) about people and service.» I had one order, a western bacon cheeseburger, but someone tell me, why it takes 16 minutes for my order to be ready, when there’s only 4 people in the restaurant, and when I saw the rest of the people get their orders, they had the usual combos – nothing extraordinary. I firmly believe that someone needs to reteach the people at the counter, to speak proper English, rather than explain something to me that sounds like gibberish. Sorry – I’m not trying to be an ass about the way people talk, but clearly if you’re assisting someone at the front line, have some knowledge, and speak clearly to me. I work in the customer service industry, and I know how important communication can be, between customers, and service personnel. Overall grade: F

Carls is always good food at a low price and the service here was great. However while we were enjoying our meal the manager began scolding another employee while customers were present to the point that the employee cried. This was Saturday 9÷06÷14 at 9:40pm. I hope that whomever reads this as an officer of carls jr educates that manager that yelling at a young employee in front of customers is completely unprofessional and if he conducts himself that way he is not deserving of a leadership position.

I love this carls jr. They have great service. I do have to say everytime I order their chicken stars they taste frost bitten and gross. I love them but they has happened the last few times I’ve ordered them from here.

This Carls JR sucks! The food was gross we got the steak and egg burritos and the«steak» tasted like rubber. We asked for ranch and we got buffalo sauce instead. We didn’t get the correct amount of creams and sugar requested for coffee, after they asked us how many we wanted. I don’t get why they ask how many creams and sugar packets I want when they were just gonna give me what they want anyway? Anyway I don’t recommend you wasting your money on this place. The food is nasty. Coffee was ok though!

A great, inexpensive place for some burgers and criss cut fries after a nice day at the beach. There are lots of elderly people here, but elderly people rock. Makes the atmosphere very peaceful and quiet. The workers here do a good job keeping the place clean and are really friendly!

I’ve come here once or twice since living in Inglewood, but I won’t be coming back again. I left a comment for the manager so I hope she reads this too! Its 1pm and we walk in to eat there. I ordered a combo # 4, large with criss-cut fries. The woman taking our order(Maria I believe, as that is what our receipt said) asked if I wanted the combo or not, and at that point I should have known it was going to be a bad experience! I confirmed, because if I didn’t want the combo I would not have ordered COMBO # 4. Husband got 2 Big Carl’s. She starts to confirm my order as something other than my Dbl. Western Bacon combo. I give a bit of attitude asking if that’s what a # 4 is. She giggles and apologizes. Order comes and we get regular fries instead of criss-cut fries. Because we did not receive a receipt with out order, the lady who brought us our food(who was amazing and helpful) printed a receipt to show us that we were not charged for it. I get up to order my criss-cut fries from the same gal that took our initial order. 10 minutes later we have finished our burgers and still waiting for our fries. We inquire with the gal who brought us our initial order and she went to investigate. A few minutes later we walk up to the counter and hover. Nobody has any idea where my fries are. One gal says they are making them now. During this time I hear the gal who took our order arguing and giving attitude to another lady, who turns out to be the shift lead. Not a good sign. My husband speaks with the shift lead who apologizes and asks us to fill out a comment card, which we do. As I’m finishing the card we are given the fries. My husband waits to give the card to the shift lead and as we are heading to walk out we are handed another to go bag with fries in it. I shake my head and laugh. Also as we are leaving a patron sends his order back because he asked for criss-cut fries and got regular. I understand this is a fast food establishment and not a 5 star restaurant but if workers just took 5 extra seconds to confirm a patrons order instead of rushing through it, there would be a lot less order taking mistakes!

The kitchen staff really care and I appreciate it! They have a clean facility, and consistently good burgers and fires. You CANNOT beat the $ 1.29 big hamburger. I may not be a food snob, but for fast food, Carl’s Jr is my go-to joint. The managers here work hard and I see it. I’m sure they have their hands full, but they are always asking if people would like anything else when they bring the order to the table. They don’t crank the music to turn you out like even fancy places often do, which means a decent conversation is possible.

The store manager is always hustling to ensure customer satisfaction. The staff is hard working and the food is consistently fresh and hot. Location is perfect. Never had a problem here, I would reccomend this spot.

After hiking all day and being late for a poker game at a buddy’s house nearby, I desperately needed something to munch on while I took my friends’ money. The staff was somewhat friendly, and my chicken tenders were piping hot and the buffalo sauce was great, and I got all my food quickly. I used to work at a Carl’s Jr years and years ago, and it says something that I still like eating at them.

My experience at this Carl’s was satisfactory. I was in the area at the Automobile Club across the street taking care of some motorcycle registration issues. Since I was on my lunch break I strolled over and decided to see how this Carl’s would do. Everything was normal, but then again nothing stood out. However this Carl’s was very crowded, so I completely understand if the workers were a little busy. I ordered the Teriyaki burger, fries and a coke. I was a little disappointed with the size of the pineapple within the burger. It was maybe 1⁄5 of what it looked like on the display. I am aware this is a huge issue with many eateries but this really took the cake… or in this case the pineapple — itty bitty. Upon leaving I noticed at least 10 cars in line waiting in the drive thru. Just a note if your in a hurry, you’re better off parking and running in to place your order.

This Carl’s Jr. blows everything out of the water. I can’t even believe their 100% quality customer service can actually be found in LA. I must have placed over 30 custom orders with them over the last year, and they have gotten all 30 right the first time. They ask you how their service was, and always smiling. They deliver your food to your table if you’re dining in, even if it’s crazy hectic. Really warm vibe. The Wendy’s on Sunset in Hollywood can learn everything about this place. This Carl’s should win awards.

Santa Monica is woefully lacking in the late-night fast food department. That’s probably a good thing for the waistline, but a bad thing when you’re returning home late at night and ravenously hungry. Thank goodness Carl’s Jr. is open until I believe 2am most nights. It would be much better if the drive-through was open so I didn’t have to get out of my car, though. I don’t really understand why this is. I would think that it would be safer for the employees to stay behind that drive through window, and less work to clean up after people eating in the store. In any case, I took the giant step out of my car to grab a rare late-night snack. I feel dirty and disgusting and probably should only eat salad for the next two weeks or so, but you know what? It was worth it. Although I was never the biggest fan of their burgers, I can’t help but love their criss-cut fries and fried zucchini. I realized that I usually go too fancy with their burgers, getting one of the kinds that has bacon plus onion rings plus a billion other things. This time I just went with the super star and I really enjoyed it, although I wasn’t sure if the meat was supposed to taste that burned(I think they would call it char-broiled) or if it was an accident. We were also impressed by the wide selection of sodas at the fountain. They have diet Dr. Pepper and orange and strawberry Fanta and Coke Zero, along with all of the other standards! The sad part was that I had to dump out two different kinds because there wasn’t nearly enough syrup before striking gold with my Coke Zero. But hey, it was almost 1am… You have to give them a bit of a break.
