California Chicken Cafe

Ordered $ 300 worth of food for delivery and they canceled on us so we had to pick up the food. Not only that, but we asked to help carrying the food to our car, they couldn’t provide us with assistant.

I think the chicken is juicy and flavorful, I love the mashed potatoes and gravy, I always get the Chinese salad. Parking is tight and lunch time is a line.

Wish they were open on Sundays! (Traveling to the one on Lincoln on Sundays is sometimes just not possible :()
Their California Chicken Salad is great. The Combo wrap is pretty tasty too. Not crazy about the Veggie Rice wrap.
The mashed potatoes are yum. Honestly, you really can’t go wrong with their food.
Location is fine, sometimes parking is a pain, but nothing crazy. Prices are comparable to a decent fast service restaurant (step up from fast food).
If you call in your order first, it makes life a lot easier. They are quick to fill orders, even if you order there.

Very moist rotisserie chicken! Delicious and healthy. I usually order the 3 piece combo, which will look like 2 pieces but it really is 3 and is actually pretty filling. It comes with white/​wheat pita and a side too. I know a lot of people like the hot potatoes but I’m not a fan of big chunks for potatoes, so I usually opt for the caesar salad or broccoli pasta salad.
This location is significantly smaller than the Lincoln location and doesn’t offer complimentary shaved ice.

Everything my wife and I have had here has been terrific. I love the wraps and the soup! The shaved ice for free when eating in is a nice touch! I jus wish he restaurant was a little cleaner… maybe it was because hey were really busy.

Sure their chicken is great but it’s all about the California chicken salad here! So delicious and so filling and fresh. The Feta is a game changer.

Don’t come in 30mins to an hour before closing. Their food was stale as everything is precooked and obviously no longer fresh. Price is reasonable though and everything well seasoned. Will go back earlier in the day when everything is freshly made.

Great place to stop by if you want to grab something quick to eat there or for take out. I had the combo chicken wrap for lunch and it was very filling. The vegetables were fresh and the chicken wasn’t dry. The only complaint I have is that the ingredients in the wrap weren’t evenly spread out so I had a few bites with just chicken and a few with just vegetables.

They are chicken experts! You can choose to have chicken in burritos, salads, by itself with sides, and more. The portions are really big so come hungry or share with a friend to be on the safe side because you will probably have left overs. The food is really good and the chicken is made really well.
I love that there’s tons of options in how you want to eat chicken for that day and it makes you keep coming back because it’s good and there’s always more things to try.
There is a small parking lot in the back of the restaurant that they share with next door neighbors and there is also side street parking if you get lucky. I haven’t seen the restaurant super busy so there’s always tables. The food does take a while to come out so be warned if you’re in a hurry.

my family and I are currently customers of this location. but today something weird just happened: my husband and I have stomach flu.
After 4 hours dealing with this situation I decided to give a phone call to this location, I was told that the manager was in her break time and they asked me for my phone number; few minutes after, I recived a phone call from Ernesto Robles, who told me that is the District Manager.
I explained to him my situation, and my concern about how are they manipulating the food, fresh vegetables specifically, and I don’t know if someone else is having the same problem with stomach because the food at this location.
He told that will let know to the corporation about this case, I hope get better, i don’t know who is going to pay for my antibiotic in case this stomach flu continues, of course I will go to see my doctor for a prescription, Wich is not free… now my medicine is going to be more expensive that my lunch.
And in the future, I will skip salad in case I came back here!.. Sorry CCC I’m very carefully picking restaurants because theirs salads now you fail :(

Don’t know why I’ve never written a review for CCC… but I do love this place. I’ve been dining at CCC for years. Their food is fresh, delicious, fast, and pretty healthy. I haven’t really had anything I disliked– from wraps, side dishes, salads, chicken, etc. everything is pretty on-​point. Portions are huge and price is reasonable.
My usual go-​to is their 3 piece dark meat with a side of butternut squash and broccoli pasta. YUM. Their chicken is seasoned well and delicious.
I’ve also had the following… which are all very good:
— California Chicken Salad: A good mixture of veges, chicken and pasta. You can choose your dressing. I like their pita croutons.
— Chinese Chicken Salad: Pretty standard Chinese chicken salad. The oranges are a good, sweet addition to the salad.
— Combo wrap
— Chicken Caesar wrap
You can also customize all the dishes. They also have REALLY GOOD chocolate chip cookies.

Great spot if don’t have time to cook! My go to is the California chicken salad, it’s filling and healthy. The rotisserie chicken is equally great.
They’re always busy so call your order in or be ready to wait.
The staff is quick and does a great job of getting you in and out as quickly as they can.

This place has great taste and at a good price. I usually get the California chicken salad or the 3 piece a la carte.
The broccoli pasta is also amazing. Plenty of parking available on the street

4 stars for taste and freshness of food.
2 stars for value. $ 11 for 3 pieces of rotisserie chicken and 2 small sides. I’ll probably just buy a whole chicken from Costco next time for $ 5.
1 star for getting our order wrong twice. First time coming here, we ordered a whole chicken and they gave us half. The second time, we ordered the 3 piece chicken, they gave us 2 pieces. And my friend ordered a salad and did not get dressing.
My advice is to check your food before you leave the place.

I want to love this place, but they did it again, I am allergic to raw tomato, receipt clearly says no tomato… hate picking them out of my food

This place has great salads and the sizes of the portions are more than enough the only thing I would have a problem with is the limited selection hopefully they add more things to the menu I really love this place in the chicken Caesar salad is to die for

I always get the California chicken salad here… It’s huge and it always fills me up with good ingredients… In the past year prices have gone up 2x and if you want the hot chicken instead of cold it’s a dollar more and they charge for extra if you want more dressing too? Why?

I never actually look forward to eating here, however every time I leave I’m totally promising myself that I’ll return soon. The food is really terrific and all tastes fresh. They pretty much have the service and operations down to a science, everything is really well thought out and efficient. Veggie soup was flavorful and those potatoes rock!
Great spot

Been coming here for years and it is the most predictable restaurant around. You are going to get good food at a great price with excellent service. I love the menu. Can’t say there isn’t anything that I would tell you to avoid. Just go there and enjoy!
Be prepared however. If you go at the wrong time the place in like a nursery. Kids running all over the place.

Came here strictly to try the Chinese chicken salad. It did not disappoint! I asked for dressing on the side so I could save half for another meal. Definitely huge portion and comes with 2 slices of pita bread (wheat or white).
For sides, I highly recommend the butternut squash and roasted potatoes (comes with sweet potatoes which I LOVE)!!
Can get a bit pricey but very healthy and delicious.
