MASSAGE review only…
Got a ½hr in-​house massage in a small room in the back a little while ago. The lady masseuse was on the heavy side, and as there was no music playing, I had to listen to her breathe the entire time; the clear sound of footsteps of people walking around us and above us on the hardwood floors (spa services take place on the 2^nd floor) was the only other sound I heard, and quite distracting. The room was too warm and musty, lacking adequate air conditioning and circulation. Although there was no bad smell, it did not smell pleasant either. The massage in general was very mediocre and the whole experience was not in any way comforting. Unfortunately, I will never return for a massage there again.
+: Reception staff were friendly, and there was nothing wrong w/​the atmosphere in the open/​salon areas.

I am a fan of Denis! Make an appointment and go. He is the best. He does my highlights and cuts my hair. I always get compliments for it.

I won a gift certificate for this salon at a silent auction for a charity and they refused to honor it because it was expired. I found it petty and tacky. An e-​mail to the manager received no response.

I love this place. I usually get highlighting and a blow out. Ann is amazing! It’s like she can read your mind.

Although the front desk can be at times disorganized, i am talking hanging up the phone on me. Laine for nails is a jem! Junko for waxing is awesome. I have been going to the two of them for years and they are reliable, friendly, and will do anything possible to fit you into their busiest days. Junko also does facials and tints, which are superb. I have also had my hair blown dry by Sarah and has done great simple blow drys that last and also helped me with costume hair for costume parties.

I have been going to Junko for eyebrow waxing for 7 years. I am a bit neurotic about who gets to touch my eyebrows — I have had too many bad waxes — but she is amazing and always makes them look perfect. I get more compliments on my eyebrows than on any other part of my body!
