A quite impressive selection of Spanish and Portuguese food products, cookbooks and other books(including some Spanish and Portuguese language books), and cookware. They have a couple refrigerators with a small selection of Spanish sausages, cheeses, and some cold beverages. Prices are somewhat high, although this is not surprising given the cost of the real estate this store occupies close to the Santa Fe plaza and the cost of getting all this stuff from Spain/Portugal to Santa Fe. I have traveled quite extensively in both Spain and Portugal, and am a big fan of both Spanish and Portuguese cuisine, so during my 4 years a resident of Santa Fe(2006 – 2010) I shopped here many times. This store sells products that are difficult to find most places in US outside of places like Miami. Definitely nowhere else in New Mexico will you be able to find most of the stuff this store offers. The same people own a few stores in Seattle and California which have wine, but due to the massive expense of getting a license to sell wine in New Mexico(something like $ 300 thousand dollars!) this location does not offer wine. However, after you get your food here you can go to Kokoman(in Pojoaque) for a great selection of Spanish and Portuguese wines.

We stumbled upon this little gem on a recent trip to Sante Fe and loved it! So many books, music and specialty items that you can peruse. Th staff was very friendly and we had a great time. Next time er’re in town we’re buying a pallea pan as big as our table!
