I don’t eat the food(unless it’s an emergency) but every time I see a Sonic, it’s not an option, I MUST stop and get their(now diet, wah) Cherry Lime-ade with extra lime and cherries. It’s this amazing lost-joy of childhood, a huge, HUGE soda with crushed ice and intense limey Shirley Temple flavor. It’s just undeniably summery and tasty. Most of the servers no longer wear roller skates, though, which I think is a bummer, but I’ll take my childhood treat any way they serve it.

I LOVESONICANDSOSHOULDYOU! It drives me NUTS that Sonic shows commercials of their yummy looking food on TV when there isn’t a Sonic to be found in a 50 mile radius of my house. Needless to say, when I’m out of town I make sure to stop by Sonic and grab a cherry limeade and some tots. What’s cool about New Mexico Sonic’s is that not only do they have the chile cheese frito burrito, they have Frito Pie too! A trademark of New Mexico. If you’re crusin’ around Santa Fe or any awesome town that has a Sonic, drive up, sip a yummy limeade and chill for a moment or two.
