I recently had the opportunity to go to an Event at the Scottish Rite Temple. What a cool place it is. The happening happened in a huge room that had a door into a interior garden. It was light and bright, and there was a bunch of parking. Plus, I have been driving by this building for 30+ years and it was about damn time I went in. There isn’t a whole lot more to say, it’s a great space to have an event. And, it’s sort of a crazy Santa Fe icon. So, if you need an event space in Santa Fe, check it out.

Santa Fe’s Scottish Rite Temple looks fantastical;it’s a re-creation of Spanish Moorish architecture that’s pretty in pink. It fits in with the Land of Enchantment. The Scottish Rite Masons are friendly and will give spontaneous tours, showing off the mural of King Ferdinand&Queen Isabella sending off Christopher Columbus on his mission. There’s an otherworldly quality to it. It’s called a cathedral for a reason. It brings the Spanish Alhambra into the New World.
