I discovered my passion for beading and jewelry making at beadweaver. They showed me everything I needed to know, happily. This is where I get almost all of my jewelry supplies. I love his place and love all of the staff. So helpful and seriously sweet!

I love Beadweaver. Unlike other bead stores in the area, it is very clean and well-organized, spacious yet friendly. The owners, Sudasi and Ruth, are super helpful, knowledgable, and talented as are the other employees. Best of all is the great selection of gemstones, seed beads, pendants, and findings. I’ve been making jewelry for 25 years, I shop all over the country, and Beadweaver always has beads I’ve not seen before and cool finds like silver antler pendants, tiny cast bronze bird skulls, wing pendants, great chain selection. And good prices, too. simply the best.

Easily the best bead store in Santa Fe. Fair prices, great selection, knowledgable and helpful staff; bright, light, clean, place to shop. My granddaughter and I both love to bead, and we created many happy memories together shopping here during her visit. And then we made masterpieces at home with our haul!

Now, I’m no jewelry maker or craftsperson. But if you are a man looking for a bauble for yourself or a sweetie, this is a fun, out-of-the-box place to check. Very friendly, helpful staff who can help you sort through beads, trinkets, stones, amulets, and other items with which to festoon earrings, necklaces, and things I don’t know the names of. Also, there’s a great coffee shop next door if you are with someone who wants to shop for such things, and you’d like to show support while going off to get yourself caffeinated.

I lost time in this place, as well as money, but I’m hoping to at least earn the money back with the beads I purchased. The time lost is lost for good, but for good reason: this place has a stunning collection of beads and for the serious beadsmistresses, it would be easy to blow half a grand in an afternoon. Not that I would know… At least two hours after entering this store I walked out with a small bag stuffed full of beads and crimps and claws and wings and cinnabar and sterling silver and a handful of new ideas begging to be made real. The generous collection of sterling silver, gunmetal, and cinnabar beads were luxury purchases for me, and from the southwestern color scheme, which is dazzling on any skin tone(turquoise blue and green, rust, cinnamon, orange, and paprika), to the myriad of closures of all kinds, including at least three different styles of magnet closures and clasps, though I absolutely did not need to spend $ 400 on beads in Santa Fe, how could I help myself? For partner shopping, here’s a tip, ladies: buy your husband an ice cream next door.
