Dr Sussman listened to me carefully and took the time to explain a few things I didn’t know about the medications I was given. And he was careful to make sure I got it all. An excellent Doctor and I recommend him highly.

Went to Dr James Sussman yesterday for the first time to line him up as my asthma/​allergy doctor in case i need him in the springtime here. He was GREAT! I wish all of my Dr’s could be like him.
— Timely check-​in and meeting
— Professional and courteous
— very thorough, even reviewing the new technique for taking the inhaler, which I’d learned a few years ago but the reminder was useful
— asked me a lot of other questions about my lifestyle and home that would effect my asthma
— took a few tests of my lung capacity, etc– much more thorough than my Asthma Dr in San Jose
— nice nurse practitioner working with him
–referred me to GP since I don’t know anyone here yet
Best of all, when I left he handed me a printout of the items we’d discussed so I could refer back to his recommendations as needed. That’s the kinda well-​organized Dr that I can invest my trust in to help me manage my health — yay for great doctors!
