an amazing little find in downtown santa cruz. true love is a quaint little shop sprinkled with authentic antique items and vintage décor. the photos along the walls are in themselves a treat to look through. it brings back the viewer to simpler times filled with long forgotten halloween pictures, picnics, glamourous clothes and cars with curvaceous curves. a random pic is thrown in to add to the artsy factor. bonus points if you find the smiling donkey picture. clothes are hung carefully in the back and are more of the 40−50s flavor. clothes are more rare and less common to find than at other cosignment or vintage shops, so this is a bonus. the owners are authentic and have a true and real appreciation for vintage. they were very warm and accomodating, answering questions openly. i was pleasantly suprised to stumble onto this place while strolling about town and is easily a favorite of this 50’s enthusiast. if you love old glam and vintage, this little shop is worth a visit!

Cool little antique/vintage shop that just recently opened on Pacific Ave just down the street from the Asti. All kinds of interesting things in here to look at(especially after drinking in the area) and as I was in there, I overheard a person comment about how even their display cases were vintage. Had to smile when I saw all their old Tiki things in the back which I thought appropriate since we had just come from Hula’s. Would have bought some had they been from Hawaii, but noticed they were all vintage from Harvey’s Lake Tahoe. Not that there’s anything wrong with that(Seinfeld reference). Interesting and unexpected new addition to the area and I bet their selection will get even better as time goes on.
