The Landing at Capitola

Nice location, AWFUL management. I don’t even know where to start because there are so many bad things to list. The management was extremely unclear about our lease agreement, didn’t me a copy of the lease when asked TWICE for it. My apartment was neglected as far as maintenance goes, we had a non-​working dishwasher for the entirety of living there. Despite having an inspection of the unit, the work order to fix our stuff mysteriously was never created, and I had to suffer with non-​working washer and dryers for about a month. Imagine trying to get laundry done with two working washers and 44 apartments. The area has fleas, there are no poop-​bags for dogs and this place claims to be dog friendly. We constantly have stuff stolen (moped, bike) and the parking is pretty horrible. Most of the neighbors are cool, but others are completely unreasonable. I’ve gotten the cops called at my apartment while everyone was asleep (the neighbors behind us were having a party) and I’ve had cops come while watching a movie with friends!
To top it off, management politely evicted me and my roommates to renovate and jack up the price of the unit. Nice ethics there.
Pros: Good location near shopping center and mall, bus stop.
Cons: Horrible two-​faced management. Some unreasonable neighbors.
