My favorite coffee shop in Santa Cruz. The best scones I’ve ever had and not just by a little, but by a huge margin. Great coffee, great service. I heard of it from a long time local. You will not be disappointed.

Such a cute café in downtown Santa Cruz. I was craving something to drink and saw that there was a crowd inside the store, so I decided to check it out. I ordered the iced matcha latte and iced chai latte. Both were incredible. It took a while getting the drinks, but definitely worth the wait. Prices are also pretty cheap. Definitely recommend!

So good. Way back when I used to work at The Acapulco is come here for a snack before work. They’re cookies and scones are addictive. Seriously. I’ve also tried a roasted veggie quinoa salad that was bomb, that was back in 2010 so I don’t know about that one, but I definitely reccomend this coffe shop if you’re on Pacific.

Everything here is delicious! As a recent grad of UCSC, Café Delmarette is the café that I will miss the most. Hands down. It’s always nice seeing the owner(I assume) walk from the SC farmers’ market downtown with a basket full of groceries straight into the kitchen.

Stopped in to get a quick bite for breakfast. I ordered the Rita and my boyfriend ordered the BLA and we were both happy with the taste. A little pricey(total came to around $ 17) for two sandwiches but it was a cute place and the food was flavorful.

Quant little café on Front st in Santa Cruz. They serve yummy Verve espresso coffee and breakfast food. I ordered a latte and a cheddar sausage scone. One of the best scones I ever had and the espresso not far behind. In the picture you can see their cute décor too. Will be coming back for a more hardy BK next time.

ENRIQUE! This guy is soo, so kinda and helpful. A friend and I tried the breakfast sandwhich, and one of us wasn’t too fond of it(I thought it was so yummy). He kindly replaced the sandwhich and offered us a complimentary scone. so kind and thoughtful. I’ll be coming here more often because of considerate service like his.

Fresh made(in house) baked goods are out of this world! Great cappuccino, as well. Sat outside to people watch and ended up being visited by a lot of strangers, which is not always the most comfortable feeling for a young lady. Loved this place and will definitely be back next time we visit downtown SC.

This is a really chill spot for a lazy Sunday morning breakfast sandwich and latte. Came in on a whim while walking downtown and was very pleasantly surprised. Although very busy the wait was not bad at all and the quality wasn’t either. I’ve had a few close calls at other spots that tried to deceive me with«fakin» ingredients but this spot is the real deal. Ordered a Rita’s breakfast sandwich and a mocha and loved the flavors. Warm, melty, and everything you want.

I ordered the B.L.A.T. and it had to be the most measly sandwich I have ever seen, and it was $ 10.50. The avocado and the tomato were sliced so thin you couldn’t ever see them, let alone taste them. I ordered it to go, does that mean you don’t get the side(a handful of chips, big whoop) if you don’t eat it there, because I didn’t get that either. I would also suggest you ask your employees that are working with the food, please don’t wear string bracelets where the strings drag through each and ever sandwich they are making, GROSS! And, please talk to each other about personal things on your break or after work so I don’t have to wait on your conversation to get my food and leave. I wish Santa Cruz would get it together and stop gouging the community members. $ 10.50 for a sandwich that is 1inch x 4 inch x 4 inch is ridiculous! I want to like you, but I can’t because you were disappointing.

I come here about 4 times per week and the food is always delicious. Today I tried their Soy Latte, and I have to say is the best I’ve tried so far. I also love their strawberry scones.

These are the kind of scones I love! Soft and flaky with solid flavors. We had the sausage and bacon scone(my favorite) and chocolate cream(also delicious).

Five stars for the superior coffee products. The food is universally awesome as well but it’s the coffee that I come back for. They make perfect latte and espresso. Flawless. It is not hard to get good latte’s and espresso, and without too much trouble one can get great latte’s and espresso up and down the strip here, but Café Delmarette has achieved flawless perfection. Every. Single. Time. It’s super small, but the inside is super cozy, and the outside seating is a great way to watch the ebb and flow of humanity on pacific avenue. All the food is good, but the bakery products are above average. Be aware that this is a slow food place and thus it may take a few minutes for your order to get out to you, this is especially true if they are busy. Totally worth the wait and the price.

This place has been highly recommended to me for the longest time by a friend who used to work there, and I’m glad I finally got the chance to go! I haven’t gotten coffee yet but went for lunch and their B.L.A sandwich was great! A little pricey but definitely seems worth going to every now and then. I’ll be back to try the coffee and more food!

Excellent coffee. Latte tastes smooth and flavorful and in an environmentally friendly cup. The counter folk were nice, and the girl who delivered me the coffee was sweet. People inside were enjoying themselves. There was a woman knitting in the corner: one of the regulars I would imagine. Overall a great experience.

Location, prices, quality, vibe. Yes, yup, check, affirmative. I was strolling along the beautiful, quaint shopping Main Street in Santa Cruz and assumed I’d never find a reasonably-priced non-chain café(I’ve been jaded by crazy San Fran prices!). After a quick Unilocal search I stumbled upon this place and lucked out! I ordered the Nettle and red potato vegan and gluten-free soup and could not have been more pleased when it arrived. It’s super hearty and full of greens that still hold some of their varied texture(this ain’t no liquidy soup). THIS is how I like my soups! If I could find this soup back home I’d surely be drinking it at least twice a week. I also ordered the Stella open face sandwich which had a sundries tomato and herb spread, fresh and delightfully ripe avocado slices, ground pepper, some mixed greens, and a squeeze of lime. ~droooool~ Now, I’m prone to getting overly excited and enthusiastic, but trust me when I say this was the perfect meal, in the perfect city, with the perfect weather. Bring a book, grab a seat outside, and enjoy the lovely people and Santa Cruz way of life!
