I’ve used these guys twice now. My first visit was for grooming and the second for daycare for my very active pup. My boy came home from grooming looking handsome and smelling great, though they did seem to forget to trim his foot hair. No big deal. If you met my boy, he’s not very good at staying still. Daycare was outstanding. My pup gets super excited around other dogs and new people so we waited outside while the check in before us finished up. The staff actually came outside to check us in which both expedited the process and helped maintain some semblance of calm in my pup. When I returned to pick him up, they shared notes about his day and brought me one tired and happy pup. Apologized that he was damp from playing in the baby pool and mentioned they would dry him next time. I could care less about a damp 9 month old pup when I’ve got a happy and tired 9 month old pup! Thrilled with our experience. We will be back and will be recommending them to friends!

We checked in our doggie Nina for two nights because we were having a wedding in the area. We are very thankful to Tony, Briana and Bed & Biscuits because they took such great care of her. The checkin process was smooth and swift. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The property is well-​maintained and organized. Upon special request Tony brought Nina to and from our wedding, and participated in the wedding. Tony was like a doggie whisperer because Nina doesn’t get along with just anybody. Nina enjoyed her stay at Bed & Biscuits, and we got the wedding of our dreams because she was able to take part in it thanks to Tony and Bed & Biscuits. We now know where to take her whenever we have a weekend getaway in Santa Cruz.

Went for a nail trim and was stoked with the outcome. My pug needed hernias done so I called and they said walk-​ins welcome for nails. Arrived and in less than 10 minutes my pooch was done. They did a great job with the clip then went above and beyond and gave a nice dremel finish. Will repeat again. Friendly staff and great location.

We bring our dog here. They are always friendly and seem to greatly care about the animals. Our dog loves going there!

I have not used B&BG for pet sitting or boarding, only grooming. It’s a busy place, but everyone there is friendly and really cares for your dog. After I call, I can usually get an appointment the following week. All procedures and groomer (s) for you dog are stored and accessed quickly for booking. Jessica does a fantastic job with my elderly (blind/​deaf) 15 yr. old buddy, Levi. B&BG was recommended to me by a friend and I have no intention of going anywhere else.

Our dog Ginger goes here several times a week for doggy daycare and lives it! She’s always tuckered out when we pick her up, and the weekly daycare videos on their Facebook page are fun to watch and a good way to measure the quality of their service. Highly recommended!

These guys are nice and really care about your pet. Would give 6 stars if possible.

Love this place for boarding! LOVE IT! Our pup loves it and when we pick her up, she is always exhausted and happy. I am giving 4 stars because I just learned they raised their prices!
It used to be you paid a certain price based on the weight of your dog, but they got a lot of play time… now you have a nightly rate on top of a play time package?!
One of the reasons we loved them so much was the amount of time our pup got to run around.
We will be giving them a shot with the new pricing, but not sure if I can afford to baord and vacation :(

We visited Bed & Biscuits in July of this year to see about boarding our pups during our wedding in October. We also asked if they’d be able to deliver our pups to our ceremony and take them back afterwards. The staff were more than willing to help us with our big day! Penny and Bruiser stayed in the VIP Suite together and were very lucky to be shuttled to and from Lighthouse Point. My only comment is that I wish I had the agreement/​cost in writing just to clear up my own misunderstanding of the prices involved with shuttling the pups. All in all, it was well worth the price. Thank you Bed & Biscuits!

I just wasn’t a huge fan of this place. I had an appointment for 10am and they didn’t give me a call till around 1:30. No one told me how long it was going to be so I kinda wondered around town waiting for a call. And then I picked her up and she was still damp I then went to pet her and my hands were covered in her hair. So I had to put my wet dog into the car. It just would have been nice and if she was dry and maybe given a brush so all that extra hair is not sitting on top of her coat then on to my hand and all over my car.
Just a little bummed.

I have two dogs, one large and one small. They sleep together at night but the little one gets to run around with the other little dogs during the day while my big one gets play time with big dogs. Recent policy changes now have me paying fairly steep fees for playtime that used to be included in the boarding costs. But still worth it knowing the dogs are able to play and socialize while we are away.

Relatively nice place, my dog seems to love it. The reason I gave it only two stars is because they charged me 45 for a service that is required for another service however they did not tell me this was necessary or that they would be doing it. After this they would not refund me for this hidden charge that I had no way of knowing about until other customers started lining up behind me and I mentioned calling the manager. Then I had to wait 30 for my dog because of another miscommunication. I’m not a local to the Santa Cruz area but I’m sure there are better places with fairer business for your puppy.

Worst experience I have ever had! I should of refused to pay. I brought my dogs in for a shampoo and brushing, no cutting or shaving. I explicitly told the girl NOT to cut or do anything to my dog’s tail except brush it. When I picked my dogs up, I noticed my one dogs tail looked thin and asked her did you cut my dogs tail and she said no. I had three dogs with me eager to go home so I could not examine too much. Only when I got home and really looked, I could see that at least ¹⁄₃ of her tail is GONE with like 3 to 4 inch hairs sticking up like her tail had been ripped out.
I should of called and complained and to this day I kick myself and I should NEVER of paid these people. Every time I look at my dog I feel sick to my stomach about her beautiful long tail now stubby and half missing. Absolutely the worst grooming I could ever imagine and it will take YEARS for my dogs tail to grow out.
I want my money BACK!

We have been taking our beloved Australian Shepherd Butters to Bed and Biscuits since he was a wee pup and I can not say enough great things about this place. Butters LOVES going here during the day for daycare, he literally pulls me through the gates in the morning when I drop him off and is so excited to be there. Then, when I pick him up at the end of the day, he is happy and very tired from a full day’s worth of playing and fun. We also bring Butters to Bed and Biscuits for boarding when we have to be out of town and although I hate leaving him behind, I never worry about him as I know he is always well taken care of and has a great time. We also get Butters groomed here and when we do, a more handsome dog you will not find.
The staff, in my opinion, are what makes this place so great! They know me and my dog by name, know that certain types of treats make his tummy upset, know which dogs are great playmates for him… and I can tell they genuinely care for my dog. Tony especially has been a superstar from day one — he goes out of his way to accommodate Butters’ and our needs and I am grateful to him. The rest of the front desk staff are so phenomenal as well, they are cheerful and a delight to see each morning and always try to make drop off and pickup as easy, quick and pleasant as can be… honestly, take your pets here! You will not be sorry.

This is the ONLY place I would trust with my sometimes nervous little dog. I bring her in for regular nail trims and the staff are just amazing with her. I took her to another place once for convenience sake and never will do so again. At Bed and Biscuits they have never cut the quick even though she has black nails.
Their grooming services are simply amazing — some of the best groomers in town. They also help homeless animals that have been neglected before being brought to the SPCA– they often do free grooms for severely matted dogs which make the dogs so much more comfortable and adoptable. The staff are true animal lovers, many of which provide temporary foster homes for shelter dogs.

My dog went in for grooming as she was very much in need of one.
The staff was on top of things and informative, and the groomer was especially caring.
We even got some of their doggy tattoos and although the stencil was too big for my dog, they were very accommodating and figured out a way for her to have one anyways.
Will definitely return in 6 weeks!

My dog does not like to be out of our sight but when we drop him off at B&B he doesn’t even say goodbye, sheesh! That must mean he loves it there and that he is treated well. That is so important because he cannot tell me.
Now that B&B has moved to a bigger faciility my dog gets more room to run and play. I took a tour and the new venue is wonderful and the owners are making a lot of improvements to it.
I am happy to report that the place is secure, spacious and comfortable for both day care and boarding!

We have been going to B&B for about 3 years now. They are extremely professional and they absolutely love dogs. They better, huh? Many of the employees have been there for years which is a testament to B&B’s treatment of both their employees and the animals that make B&B their home for the day (or vacation). Our dog’s reaction when arriving at B&B is excited barking and when I hand him over, he immediately goes to them and pulls them through the door. This is a dog that is an extreme mama’s boy and even when off leash, won’t walk more than 15 feet away. He doesn’t even look back to say goodbye. It’s like doggie day camp! We have boarded our dog a number of times and it’s always been a very positive experience. I love that I can call and they will give me an update on how he is doing!
They recently moved and I love the new location. They have so much more space to play! They gave us a tour of the new facility and I got to see where my doggie plays and when boarded, where he gets to sleep. During the tour, I got to see all the dogs out playing in the quarter-​acre yard. You can just tell they are having a good time — and that goes for the employees too. They are out their ensuring that each dog gets some good petting and that everyone keeps a cool head.
If you are considering a day care or boarding, this is the place. Again, they are all super nice and they truly truly care about animals. There is no better place in Santa Cruz county.
