US Post Office

I dropped off a package here last weekend (Sunday, Feb 21^st). I wanted it to be shipped out first thing Monday morning which is why I dropped off at this time. I live in Canyon Country, but my Mom lives in Castaic so I dropped here after a bbq at her house. My package has not updated tracking at all. It’s been about a week and a half. I’ve been calling this post office off the hook, at least 5 times already and no one has answered (will just keep ringing for 10 minutes even). Do I really need to drive 30 minutes to your post office to find out where my package is? Why isn’t anyone answering the phone! My package was worth over $ 60 that I now have to refund to the person who purchased from me, and I’m out the shipping cost as well. I’m super frustrated right now!
I will be coming in soon, since my package has to be at your establishment somewhere. It never left or has been scanned.

Went to franklin hwy castaic valencia for passport renewal. Took 2 hours waiting time. Noticed people going out somewhere outside parking or wall or trees to go pee. Ive been here twice and i cant believe why they cannot provide a bathroom for people waiting for long hours. That sucks!!! Asked the personel inside they just said sorry we dont have public restroom. My poor 5 year old need to use restroom but no one allowed us. This is a government facility how come they cant provide even just 1 freaking bathroom!!! I hope they will do something about it… People are waiting patiently for so long…

Wow. This place is the prime example of government inefficiency. As you know, when you renew passport for a minor, you have to come in with both parents. We did so at 10 am in the morning and after a 10 minute line to check in we got our number of 44. At that time they were serving number 12. 4 HOURS LATER!!! With 2 kids in tow, no public restrooms, and ONE US postal employee only working (there are 4 desks) — to get the passport processed took more time than the flight we plan to take to Costa Rica. Complete nightmare! Take your kid out of school. Go on a weekday — probably better chance of getting through faster.

Went in for a passport and there was no wait, they had photo services for 15 bucks, and the system was like a well-​oiled machine.
After reading reviews of other post offices and the nightmare passport services they have, this is worth the drive!
