Peet’s Coffee & Tea

Excellent coffee, excellent service. Even the crowd feels a bit more intellectual. Did you know the owner of Peet’s taught Howard Schultz (the CEO of Starbucks) everything hCV knows about coffee?
Love all the holiday lattes! Love the fresh coffee bean selection and even the merch selection. I’ve never had to wait long for coffee always less than 3 minutes. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating inside and outside. My parents live in Saugus and I still travel all the way here every morning to grab a cup of delicious coffee every time I am in the SCV. The only thing I could change: Build multiple Peet’s around Santa Clarita! #ThePeopleLovePeets

Cappuccino was excellent. They hadn’t heard of an espresso con panna but they did okayish Nice atmosphere.

Five stars for friendly and prompt service, minus two when they contracted their tea out to somebody else. Russian Caravan, Irish Breakfast, I will miss you. What looked like a stable tea location (the few that isbin SCV) has vanished. Sniff.

Ok, 5 stars for you, Pete’s, and your amazing staff! I ordered their Salted Caramel Macchiato and Gingerbread and the drink wasn’t as hot as I prefer. I like steaming hot almost burn my tongue status, so yeah, the drink was not to my liking. I simply asked if there was a microwave because I’m no waster, and would happily zap it (no judging). However, the staff was so kind and sweet they immediately started to make me another drink, and were very genuine, and there was no contesting it.
The next day, I had yet another caramel macchiato, but this time from Dunkin and all I can say is yep – Pete’s, you got this! I will happily be back!

The customer service here is so amazing. Some of the nicest people I’ve met. Coffee is amazing. I come here everyday.

First off, patrons of Peet’s please pick your stuff up and throw it away when you are done… we are not your mamas.
Okay, now that being said I really like Peet’s coffee good selections of coffee, tea and pastries. My wife and I were going over to Home Goods for some minor house ware shopping on Sunday but Home Goods doesn’t open until 11, so Peet’s!
I had a Maple Latte and my wife the Macha Green Tea… both great, but we had to pick up stuff that the former occupant of the table left and throw away hence the starting comment.
Recommend if you haven’t tried it.

In short and 2 the point: great place. smells like Fresh coffee. iced teas taste pretty good. will def. come back!

Peet’s has great coffee, and a great atmosphere, but their internet connection is not very good. If you need to get work done, or surf the net, or check your email, go to Starbucks.
I live two blocks from Peet’s but I find myself driving 3 miles to Starbucks because they have more stable/​reliable internet. 4 stars for Peet’s until they improve their internet. :)

Nice baristas and I’m glad they have gluten free blueberry muffins. Just wish it was drive-​thru!

I love Peets! I’m a tea drinker, and their hot and iced teas are excellent. I also really like that if I buy a gift card or a tin of tea, they give me a free iced tea every time. It’s a great bonus!

When I order an ice blended coffee, my major concern is the cleanness of blender bowl. Since previous client’s orders must have different tastes, my order flavor can be contaminated by the cleanness of the blender bowl. Somehow, when I order today, there were some suspicious colored water remained inside of the blender bowl but they tried to pour ice without cleaning it. Luckily, I requested to clean the bowl before they poured the ice. All staffs are kind and friendly. However, we need to take care the blender bowls for better and clean taste.

The baristas at Peet’s Coffee and some of the kindest people out there! All of them are extremely knowledgable about coffee, their tastes, their regions/​origins; they know a lot about the teas they sell as well. They have almond, soy, whole, 2%, nonfat, and half and half milk so they cater to all typed of food allergies and preferences. Overall, a really nice enviornment and coffee experience

First time here and I must say I’m hooked! So much better than Starbucks! Great people, great service, great coffee!

I LOvE Peets Coffee. I actually look forward to coming here which is never the case for all the other coffeehouses. Maybe it’s the friendly staff, maybe it’s the live music they have on & off, maybe it’s their yummy pastries or much less clicky location, but really. I think they got it right here at Peets!
I gave up cream and sugar many many years ago and I must say I don’t even miss it in my coffee. On occasion just for kicks I’ll order something out of the norm, like during the holidays their sea salted caramel which is absolutely perfect! Their coffee blends are just precisely sharp, rich and bold to the point of notice. It’s complex but clean coffee and straight up delicious!
I buy their bags of beans to brew at home now and my husband has noticed the difference in both taste and aroma. He complains when I serve up the competitor and thinks I’m saving the good stuff for me. Silly rabbit… of course I am but ok, I’ll be more willing to share Peet with him now that I know he really, really loves it too!

Roaming the Pavilions shopping center and want a coffee or tea? This is the place to go!
I’m a tea drinker, so I appreciate the many options they’ve got at Peet’s. This location also boasts a fairly sizable sitting area inside and out if you want to hang around for refills and type away on your laptop. The employees here are friendly as well.
What else is there to say about Peet’s? Another coffee place to enjoy beverages at, woo!

They ran out of medium roast beans and won’t have any for two days? How the hell does that happen? No explanation from the morning supervisor except for a flippant attitude about it and said I should return in two days. Went to Starbucks instead and they had plenty
Management really stepped up and were very hands on regarding this issue. .I have been going back since talking to the manager without any issues and happy to get my Solono beans again…

After a brief rocky patch, Peet’s has bounced back, in my book. I’ve had good experiences the last few visits, and they haven’t messed up my order. The baristas have been friendly and efficient, and one even put some foam on my iced latte that added some nice flavor and texture. Another did the «foam art» (on a hot latte) that the fancy coffee places are all doing now.
As another reviewer pointed out, they haven’t stepped up their game to match the likes of Intelligentsia, but I prefer their coffee to either Starbucks or Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, so for the SCV, it’s as good as you’ll get outside a restaurant.

The best kept secret in SCV is Peet’s. When you just want to avoid the Starbucks and Coffee Bean crowds, Peet’s offers a great escape with equal quality.
After buying the kids Cold Stone ice cream next door, we decided that an ice coffee would hit the spot. The coffee is good and priced well. They also have a large indoor and outdoor seating area which will satisfy tablet and laptop junkies.
Gonna start hanging out here more often.
