Maria Argelia’s Beauty Salon

I went to the salon and had Maribel touch up my highlights, she did a horrible job I had to go back and still it was not better. She was very sweet to me but did not know how to do my hair… And charged me so much ! I couldn’t believe how much! Now I’m stuck with this botch job till I can pay someone else to fix it! :/

When I came in this salon was busy but Ive heard great things about it
and was willing to wait, I was kindly welcomed by the owner and two other workers who kept making sure I was okay, after a 15 min wait (there where 5 people in front of me) I got my hair cut and eyebrows done. Loved the atmosphere and they even have a discount card the 10^th cut is Free! Plus Kids haircuts are $ 5 on Tuesdays, will be back!

I have known this place for many years now and the only reason I keep going back is because there is a lady who gives really good haircuts but I do not remember her name.
Argelia, the owner lacks professionalism, she will «cut» your hair in about 5min while she is attending her grandchildren, answering the phone, gossiping with her employees and top of that she also manages to eat something. If you do not believe me, give it a try. The other stylists there do not speak/​understand any English nor have a stylist license; there is only one lady besides Argelia who has a license and that’s the one who gives really good haircuts.
The price for a haircut here is $ 12 dollars and that’s what you get, a $ 12 dollar hair cut.

Argelia is amazing!
She’s been cutting my hair for more than 3 years now, and she’s the only one allowed to touch my hair!
I get edgy razor cuts and there are a few people in the area who can do that. She did an amazing job the first time and I’ve come back ever since. At first it looked like a small, hole in the wall type place, but it turns out that Argelia is very talented!
I don’t how well the other ladies in her salon cut hair, I only make appointments with Argelia. So if you’re thinking about a haircut, make an appt with Argelia. She also accepts walk-​ins if she has time.
She is fast and accurate. Unlike others, she doesn’t take 30 mins to trim hair! It’s also very cheap, she’s never charged me more than $ 20 for a cut.
