Horrible experience with a cashier named Jennifer. Never coming here again! So rude about her whole demeanor. She shouldn’t be at register if she can’t handle someone correcting her.

So bummed that Albersons bought out Vons. Albertsons is much closer to my house, but I used to go the extra few miles to avoid the higher prices. I’ve shopped this location many times throughout the years. The employees are always friendly and helpful. This review has nothing to do with the people that work there. I have shopped here many times, always seem to spend a lot more money for what I get. The prices are outrageous. Produce department lacks tremendously. Was here this last Monday and they didn’t even have green onions. Extremely disappointed. To say I really miss Vons is an understatement.

Could be better. I know I can’t compare this to trader joes or haggens but the reason I am writing this to suggest some improvements. This is my neighbor hood store. I have been doing grocery here for 3 years and the staff has been helpful and nice. Rest room and the fresh produce are great. I noticed that they are limited in the organic department. They don’t have special ready to cook quinoa, they don’t have a lot of choices for organic chips and more. Their produce section is great but sometimes some of the veggies and fruits can be higher priced. Maybe depending on the season. The place is clean, the ambiance is welcoming. They have starbucks.

The only reason why we keep shopping here is that it’s convenient to our house. We’ve lived out here 29 years, and this market has changed many times, for better or worse. Under the current store director, is often dirty, does not smell nice when you come in, people don’t seem to be sharp, and stock levels can be questionable. On more than one location, they have been out of milk on a Sunday afternoon. And on several occasions the dairy products they were selling were past the sale date. This is not a reflection on Albertson’s in general, but specifically this location on Bouquet Canyon Road. It’s not absolutely terrible, but there are much better stores around the SCV.

Placed an order online for fried chicken and of course when I came to pick up it wasn’t ready. The lady from the deli was very sweet and apologetic but apparently the manager just received the email. I don’t buy it! I’ve ordered from Albertsons before with no problems.

I love this Albertsons. The people who work here make it really special and are very helpful. There’s always a friendly smile and«that extra step» that they put in to make sure that you find everything you need. My favorite part is the Starbucks kiosk that helps take the boredom out of shopping.

added a star. Bought my son’s bday cakes again this year since we didn’t want to spend much on portos. It was a mIckey train theme and I got a nice 2 tier round red velvet cake and the woman at the bakery suggested I put the track around to go along w/the theme. I bought a half sheet since we had almost 100 people and the cake was too small. She also suggested 24 cupcakes which were so cheap and she added mickey rings to them!(if you buy the rings alone at party city, would’ve been half of what I spent on the entire cupbakes) We had other desserts from Portos and people thought my cake came from there and they were shocked when I said albertsons because it was good.(AND cheap!) I’ve attached pics. The cake still tasted good after a week.

Typical grocery store but they lose points for closing before midnight. I go here for my produce because it isn’t as expensive as other places. They have friendly butchers but a washed out, unattentive deli crew. Meat department has poor variety. Another stinger is the store GM, a total narcissist. It is tough to feed that guy profits, I do my best to limit my visits here. One attraction is the giveaway games they have. I never win anything but the gambler in me is drawn to them. In-store starbucks and banking. It is OK for a neighborhood grocery store but has no edge. I go here only when I’m lazy, otherwise I drive a little further to Trader Joes.

When I lived in South Florida back in the 80s and 90s, there were basically only three choices for supermarkets. The two Florida based ones, Publix and Winn-Dixie and this one from Utah called Albertson’s. Now Publix was the one everyone went to. It was great. Clean, attractive, great food and bakery. It still blows practically every market in LA out of the water. Winn-Dixie wasn’t as nice but it was OK with great fried chicken. It was where to go if you didn’t have time to go to Publix. And then there was Albertson’s. Bigger, but not as attractive and not as cheap. It was the supermarket of last resort for most Floridians. So now Albertson’s is a behemoth owned by the Twin Cities supplier/broker SuperValu and it still pales in significance to most LA stores. It’s hard to believe these guys own Bristol Farms, but they do. It’s definitely a pricier market than the other guys. I rarely find a worthwhile special in their ads and they only rarely do double coupons(OK, practically nobody does anymore) unless they put two in their circular to use if you spend ten bucks or something. This Albertsons at least, is one of the newer, remodeled ones. It’s definitely much nicer than the one near me. Better selection and a better liquor/beer department too with more choices. It’s still not as attractive as a Ralphs Fresh Fare and seems to be lacking is some of the more ‘Whole Foods’ approaches other markets are taking. So Albertsons is still to me in LA what it was in FL. A market of last resort.

Nothing new about this place. Just a ur average grocery store. Come here often when I’m done with my trader joes shopping. Prices here are very inexpensive and competitive. Two good perks about this place is… 1) it has a Starbucks. 2) there are two Red Box kiosks. One thing i wish it had would be a Wells Fargo ATM and free wi-fi. Other than that its clean, friendly and has free samples at the bakery!

I typically do not shop at Albertson’s because the prices are too high, but I like that this one has a recycle center. You can feed your cans and glass bottles in individually. You have to wait in line to weigh your plastic in bulk.
