Best pizza around. Loads of topping (esp if you’re looking for halal pepperoni, sausage, salami, ham). Great crust: not to think, not to flimsy, crunchy yet with a soft center bite. The owner/​manager is very generous and accommodating. I don’t live in Santa Clara but I make the drive and it’s absolutely worth it.

I am not a big pizza person, I usually only eat it 2 or 3 times a year but I was craving pizza this particular day and this was within walking distance so I stopped by on a Friday. I got a medium thin crust «extreme» pepperoni with extra cheese. Omg, it was delicious and not just because I was craving it, I only ate 2 slices that day. I had it for leftovers every day until it was gone. It held up really well for 4 days. Crust was nice and crisp. The cheese was gooey like I like it. The pepperoni was very flavorful and crispy as well. Granted, I reheated it in the oven as opposed to the microwave but it was damn good pizza every time. Will definitely be going here next time I get that rare craving for pizza again. Highly recommended

Super disappointed. Tried this pizza place for the first time tonight.
We ordered pizza with a super thin crust. When we got the pizza, the crust was so soggy I could cut through it with a fork. The pizza is pretty much impossible to eat by hand because it’s so soggy it doesn’t hold any shape. We also ordered garlic bread with marinara dipping sauce, Bread was soggy too, and the sauce was ice cold. I emailed Unilocal soon after receiving the pizza, but haven’t heard back yet. I hope to receive a refund – was a waste of $ 25. Ordering through Grub Hub definitely is a better customer experience than Unilocal.Grub Hub gets back to you immediately, and always solves your problem. I hope Unilocal does the same.

I just ordered a pizza from this placed based on reviews from Unilocal.The pizza came lukewarm and soggy. When I called to explain this to the business, I was told because I ordered thin crust with a lot of toppings (including watery items like tomatoes, artichoke hearts, etc) it causes the crust to be soggy. I was not offered an apology nor a ‘let us fix the mistake’.
We order pizza all the time especially thin crust with just as many toppings and I have never had it look like this! I explained this same thing to the person I spoke to and told him that’s fine I will deal with what I have but will not be ordering from them again!
That’s ridiculous not to offer to fix this but just give me a reason for a lousy product. What a waste of my money and time!!!

I was looking forward to go to this place for a while now since I heard that they’re one of the few halal pizza places in the area. We placed a dine-​in order and they didn’t take too long to bring it out which is always a plus. We ordered the chicken alfredo pizza and the cheese sticks. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza as it comes with loads of toppings! I’ve had the chicken alfredo pizza at other places before who only put the aforementioned two things on the pizza. But not this place! These people put artichokes, tomatoes, onions and more in addition to the chicken and alfredo. It was nice to try this new combination and I hope to try more in the future. The prices were reasonable and the service was fast. A pizza place worth trying for sure!

Got a Hawaiian pizza. The crust was delicious, but the texture and flavor of the sauce clashed with the pineapple in a way I couldn’t stand.
Edit: Also, they forgot my garlic knots. :’(

Nothing amazing, but nothing bad. This pizza was right on the money. The cheese cake was also rather good.

I’ve been ordering from this Via Mia location for over 10 years. A couple of months ago when I ordered the pizza crust wasn’t the same as before but still tasted good. Yesterdays order was disgusting I’m not sure why there was a sweet korean taste with some curry in it!!! Where’s the Italian? When ever I had company in town or a group at the house this was my go-​to pizza place but something has seriously gone wrong recently. Not to mention the two hairs I discovered in the pizza! I never contacted the store after because it’s a lost cause for me and I’ll never be back. The cleanliness of the store also seemed to be severely lacking. During my pick up there was lots of yelling in the kitchen which seemed to be between the owner and the staff…

My favorite pizza place in the bay area. Halal, and serving size is perfect. Always fresh, crust is crunchy and tasty. Really good pizza

The pizza was barely warm when delivered. It didn’t look and taste as good as it had appeared in the photo. And I had added a side to the order just to meet the minimum, which was not delivered.

First time ordering. Pizza was good dough was a little soggy. A few minutes in the toaster over fixed that.

I’m not a pizza fan. I don’t think I’ve bought one for myself in a couple years. My old go to spot was Pizza Chicago. I’ve had fancy one, chain ones, store ones, but I can live without it. I decided to try Via Mia for my Saturday lunch since it was only a mile from me and it had some decent reviews.
I ordered through
and got a small 10″ Founder’s Special Pizza with regular medium crust and spicy sauce. The pizza has pesto sauce, mozzarella cheese, grilled chicken, chopped garlic, red onions, roma tomatoes, fresh mushrooms, artichoke hearts.
I went to pick it up after 20 minutes and I know why I never saw it before. It’s tucked away at the very back of a small Asian shopping center near Flora Vista and El Camino. You won’t see it from the street or notice it on the shopping center sign unless you’re really looking. The center wasn’t busy at all at 11:30 am on a Saturday so there was plenty of parking. No arrows in the parking lot and one lane, and everyone loops around clockwise it seems, so watch out.
I walked in and rang the bell. The worker, possibly owner, was asking me what took so long and I thought playing around. I guess he mistook me for another customer who asked him to come in early to do a big order that hadn’t showed. I corrected him, but he didn’t sound angry when he thought I was the other person. It was a jovial, light, ball busting like friends do to each other. Very friendly. It’s a very small shop. You can’t have a nice dinner with your entire family at this place or set up a lunch date. To go is the best option.
I got my small pizza and it smelled and looked amazing. Every slice was amazing! The dough tasted freshly made, delicious, light. A good size for a medium (they also offer extra thin if you like more NY style or extra thick). Tender chicken chunks. The mozzarella tasted good, every ingredient tasted fresh. As I folded each piece to eat, a slew of the plentiful toppings would fall off. The spicy sauce was mild, even coupled with the red pepper flakes, but the flavors of the ingredients were great! Not overly greasy either.
If I ever get more pizza cravings, this is the spot.

The hot wings were not as hot as the usual, but yummy anyways. We requested them extra crispy (i reccommend!) a little on the fatty side, but good.
The staff needs to learn a little more of the local language for communication needs, but other than that, a good experience. Thank you!

Meh!!! Nothing to write home about for sure. Bland. Ordered (and paid for) lots of extra toppings and I could not, for the life of me, see any «extra» toppings! Do not order extra toppings cause its a rip off!!!

We try this place 2 days a go. And the pizza so sucks and no taste the sauce doesn’t have any spices and other then that customer service so bad
And what I saw the store not clean at all and now space to set and eat it’s take out store any ways I ll never come back to this store Sucks food

The. Best. Dough made on site. Fresh ingredients. Not the least expensive, but the very best from coast to coast. In other words, the difference between ‘same crap’ and ‘a pie from heaven’ is about $ 2 – 3. Visit NOW! I love it crispy.

We are a house divided, hence the solid, moderate 3 stars. We got Via Mia for takeout — the one with double pepperoni and double cheese. Medium size, medium crust thickness. Ordering online was very convenient.
My 4 year old proclaimed it «The best pizza in the world!» My husband said that he liked it much better than the pizza we used to order frequently before we moved here. Really? I didn’t like it at all.
I think this is a case of different pizza expectations for different people. I like my cheese gooey and molten hot, and I like my pizza very salty, especially the sauce. I *hate* overly sweet pizza sauce. I like my crust (at least the outside part) to have some bite and crispiness to it. The only thing I liked about it was some of the pepperoni was cooked until crispy and folding up at the edges.
My husband, on the other hand, strongly dislikes overly salty pizza. This pizza was not salty at all, even with the pepperoni. The sauce was quite sweet (he said «very tomatoey,» I said «overly sweet»). The cheese was not gooey, which he prefers. Opposites attract, I guess? He also liked the soft, bland, non-​crispy crust.
If you want a pizza with a soft outer crust, cheese that isn’t gooey at all, sweet sauce, and very little if any saltiness, this is your pizza. If your tastes are more like mine, look elsewhere. I can see why it was his thing, but it wasn’t for me.

The food was nothing exceptional, but the amount of it was outstanding.

½ star if possible. Horrible food, delivered 12 mi away 1 hour late, and cold to boot. Very rude manager on phone, as well as confused elderly driver. Save yourself the hassle and order from ANYWHERE else.

Wow, really really not good. Hot wings had no sauce and tasted like they were frozen for a very long time (papa johns like but not even that good). Pizza was just awful, strange sauce that really messed it up for me. I debated whether to order from hotel menu but chose this. I made a bad choice.

Like most people I’ve been ordering pizza from various places most of my adult life. This place delivers fast and uses LOTS of toppings. The crust is crispy and delicious!

Man the small size pizza is enough for 2, and I eat a lot. They don’t skimp on the toppings.
The cheesy bread is where it’s at! The marina sauce is good, but try the garlic butter one!
Ordered delivary all 4 times and each time arrived within 40 min!

Oh my geee this pizza is always amazing. Mouth watering flavors and a large variety of taste. No matter what your cravings are Via Mia got you. Spicy, bland, plain, everything is on point. The founders special with white sauce is amazingly delicious! Via Mia packs their pizza with lots of ingredients so every bite is mmm mmm mmm deliciocio. 5 stars to all the workers and the delivery people. I don’t know the drivers name but its an Asian driver in the gold car… He is always so nice and respectful. Thank u for lunch via Mia. Stay Delicious… I also called the manager personally to let him know that the food is always satisfying. My husband and I have ordered over a dozen times and its always better then the last. Thank u all. Keep up the good food :)

The pizza here is amazing! Wish the crust wasn’t too soft but the pizza itself was really delicious especially the combination pizza. The price isn’t too crazy either. Love it!
