I’ve used the catering services a few times for team events at work and have always found working with Evan’s team simple a straightforward. I also had them cater my son’s graduation party and it was a huge success! Grilling tacos on site is the best and I heard nothing but great comments from everyone on how tasty the food was. Booking them, on site set up, serving, and clean up were all done very efficiently without any issues. This place hold their own against all the great taqueria’s we’re blessed with here in the bay area. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle free experience. You want to amazingly happy guests? Their food does the trick fantastically. I personally would advise piling up a plate full of chips and making your own nachos. :)

We had a corporate catering event today, very poor communication and the food never showed. They were supposed to show at 10:00AM, at 10:30 they said they were coming and then no one answered the phone for the next hour and half. We’ve had Cazadores cater our events for the last 3 years, but won’t be considering them any longer. Buyer beware if you’re looking to have these guys cater anything.

We had the pleasure of hiring Evan and his team for our wedding at the Ainsley House. We hired him Through thumbtack back in June 2015 our wedding was April 2016 from then until our day his communication was second to none, he is professional, knowledgable and so great; always kept on touch with us and have us ideas. On The day of, he exceeded out expectations and more, his staff was friendly and SO professional. Our bartender didn’t arrive and he took charge, he is a quick thinker and resolved the issue. The good was top notch! I can’t thank him and his staff enough. He is so kind and experienced on his craft, we are extremely lucky to have hired him as our cater for our wedding, going above and beyond to perform the best of the best at our event. I will not only recommend him but will go eat at his restaurant often. Thanks Evan and staff, you guys killed it!

Been here a few times and they always seem to take for ever to take orders even when you’re at the counter. One person taking order and answering phones prolonging the wait. Food is decent? Salsa blows, no taste at all.

The staff was friendly. The green chilaquiles were really good but the place was really dirty! The carne asada was over seasoned, the salsas were okay. The place definitely needs a woman’s touch.

Nastiest burrito I ever tasted. I ordered 2 burritos via 1. Super Burrito(Carne Asada) Super burrito and it has no guac, no sour cream, and rice is undercooked and taste so yucky overall. One thing I find interesting was that it had a white cheese stuff that tastes like a cream cheese… I am not so sure if it was actually a cream cheese or some cheap mexican white mozzarella. 2. Camaron(Shirmp) special Burrito I tossed this one in the trash after 3 bites… I tried 3 times but could not eat no more. Seriously, they must reused their breakfast burrito for this one because it tastes like eggs and potatos and stanky-ass boiled shrimp. Again, rice undercooked like other burrito I ordered and not enough salsa… Pro tip: Go to Taco Bell instead or chipotle, mi pueblo, etc…

Today I ordered food via Doordash. Food was ok, I ordered a red mole burrito and a side of chips and salsa. 1. The red mole did not taste anything like mole. It’s better to just call it chicken in tomato sauce. 2. The salsa was flavorless. 3. I ordered a Gatorade. And guess what? It’s expired. And I didn’t find out until after I was done drinking it. If I wouldn’t have been so freaking hungry, I would’ve noticed earlier. Obviously I’m not gonna order from this half-ass restaurant again.

Without a doubt one of the most disgusting restaurants I have ever been to and the only reason I ate here was on a bet. I worked at a machine shop a block away and my foremen warned me not to eat here(another new guy ignores him and ate for lunch but had to go home early because they crapped their pants). So after work I came here for a simple burrito and after three bites I just left while tossing out half my food. Thank god I had a tooth brush and mouth wash in my gym bag at that moment. Worst of all is that its located in an area that seem to attract junkies and creeps. I’m still seriously wondering how has the health inspector not shut this place down. Seriously its one of the most disgusting looking restaurants in the Bay Area.

Below average street tacos. The red salsa was above average on heat, average on taste. The chili verde pork was bland. The al pastor was good texture wise, but not flavorful. The carne Asada was the best of the three, but still very average.

Just really want to say how terrible the food is. Way overpriced for what you’re getting. They should be giving the stuff away. My burrito was cold and bland. They seemed nice though. The place was kind of not the cleanest but nobody’s perfect. But yeah… as long as you don’t eat here it’s an ok spot.

Stopped here to get a couple of burritos for tailgating at Levi Stadium for the recent TNF game vs. the Seahawks. Owner was fantastic! The choices are way more than what we are used to up in Seattle, and he saw we were not sure of what to order, so he made us a sample plate of all meat choices for a burrito, and educated us on the various styles so we could decide. Hard to make a choice, they are all sooo good! Ended up with a Carne Asada and a Carnita burrito. We loved them! Stuffed with meat, rice, beans, avocado, and sour cream. I would visit his shop again when in town for sure!

I’d have to say the food is mediocre at best. I ordered carne asada tacos and they were dry as west Texas in July. The«salsa bar» was pretty low as we were scraping the bottom of the container to get anything out.

I’m really into street tacos. Just meat, onions, cilantro and salsa in a tortilla, which is how I usually chose Mexican restaurants. The tacos here are a lot bigger than other places, which is why each taco is more than $ 3. I ordered 3 lengua tacos(beef tongue) and chips to go. Chips cost $ 1 if you want to take them to go. The tacos were bland and the salsa wasn’t very tasty. Lengua is supposed to be super soft. But they are cut in to huge chunks here and are kind of tough. The staff is kind of slow and don’t really speak or understand English very well, which was kind of frustrating when I have to repeat myself many times. However, some of the stuff i see other people looked pretty tasty. So I will give it another try some other time.

Ok so I am not a big review writer, but I do like to use Unilocal to find good places for whatever. Now I have been coming to this place for 20 + years, due to my hubby grow up in the area. I can not find a lot of Mexican restaurants that make great lengua or even make decently ok lengua. So when I started eating here, it is awesome. I have tried that place Dona maria’s but gross no flavor, or super taqueria(they are ok). But I keep coming back here. I love this place… The food is awesome and the staff is awesome. I hope this place never changes. Because I need to get my Super Enchilada with Lengua. I would pay $ 20 buck for it. Now I have read the reviews, good and bad, but these bad reviews really people get over it. I know this opinion based but really you nit pickers need to be slapped. This is an great place.

I recently got to taste Taqueria Cazadores at a catered event. The pollo asado was delicious, the carne asada was just ok. The sides and toppings they provided were not great. The churros were awesome!

The food isn’t bad and the salsa they make is really good but the customer service there SUCKS! 3 times Ive been there and every single time she gets my order wrong and it’s so frustrating because my lunch is only 30 minutes and it’s the closest one around. Definitely will not be going here anymore, First time, I ordered my food at 1130 via phone to be ready for 12. I get there my food isn’t even ready not until 15 minutes later to where I had to take it to my desk to eat. Secondly, I asked for guac on my burrito and guess what no guac and I paid for it. Whatever. Now this last time I ordered a shrimp cocktail and 3 tacos w/no onions. I got the taco’s quickly but they put onions on it! My shrimp cocktail wasn’t ready until 30 minutes later to where I am not writing this review because I am so frustrated! Like come on girl, get it together!

If you want terrible salsas, only warm plates, and terrible customer service then this place is for you. But if you want quality Mexican food or at least a decent burrito I wouldn’t recommend this place. I ordered the«Shrimp De Ablo» plate and it came stale chopped lettuce from a bag, stale dry rice that stuck together and frozen shrimp that were only warmed up. Not good quality food or service.

Our workplace in Redwood City actually gets food catered from these folks, and I actually think that they’re good. We usually get the wide variety of things, such as — carnitas carne asada pollo churros w/custard roast veggies(bell peppers/tomatos/onions) rice refried beans The carnitas is pretty moist, and is the one meat that they do the best job on. Then they bring the fixin’s such as the guac, green and red salsa, salsa fresca, chips, tortillas, etc., and unfortunately, I end up overeating cuz the food’s pretty darn good in my eyes, and it’s usually pretty fresh/hot still, even after traveling up to Redwood City from Santa Clara.

Well, the meat was good. But I was disturbed to learn they don’t make their beans in-house. This place is a bit on the expensive side too. The super burrito had absolutely no spiciness — I guess you have to let them know to add salsa? Seems odd to me. I saw this case of canned refried beans… :/
