Since there has been a groupon here for ages and very few reviews I could find online, I figured I would step up to the plate and write a Unilocal review. It is hard for me to review because the gym is not really for me, but it might be what others are looking for. I think if you are younger than 40ish, you probably won’t enjoy this place. But if you are around that age or older and are looking for an extremely friendly and supportive environment to work out, it might be for you.
The gym is VERY small, only a few machines available (treadmill, elliptical, free weights, and weight machines). However, it is not crowded, so machines are usually open.
The classes are a bit odd, since they take place right in the front room next to the «front desk.» You can expect to have pretty small class sizes. I took pilates and yoga. I think I preferred the yoga class as the instructor was good and with yoga you can do your own variations to make things more challenging if need be. The pilates I was not a huge fan of. The classes I went to had several interruptions, which can be frustrating if you want to get a good workout. They are also pretty slow-​paced. Like I mentioned, this can be good for certain people, and they are definitely good about recognizing people’s injuries, etc.
As I mentioned, everyone is very friendly and it would be a great place if you like to chat, maybe even make new friends. Personally, I just want to get serious about working out, cut the chit chat and go! Lol. But anyway, here is some info to help you decide!
