I have been here a few times. But not anymore. The lady there with glasses was really rude. I asked her jokingly if these were the lucky numbers and she snaps back, «HOWSHOULD I KNOW!» I said thanks and have a nice day and she didn’t say a thing just kept texting on her phone. There’s three other stores near by so I’ll go there instead.

Really good selection of CA scratchers. Lot so winning cards hung around the register entice you to play. They have $ 10-$ 1 scratchers. This a standard liquor store all the way around. Bonus, the clerks are really nice.

As a liquor store, this isn’t much to talk about but they do have one redeeming thing, Paletas. Generally a treat for post spicy Mexican meals. it does just as well after a spicy Korean one too. Refreshing after a Dol Sot Bi Bam Bap or Spicy Tofu soup down the way.

Honestly, this is one liquor store that I like ‘coz the prices are reasonable for a place that stays open late even when there’s minimal foot traffic. The folks who run the place are like genuinely delighted to see a customer, maybe ‘coz there are hardly any. The Chevron Food Mart & Albertson’s across the street probably have taken most of their business away, but this little store have a pretty good hard liquor selection to satisfy anyone. As far as I’m concern, it’s a hidden gem in case of emergency and you don’t want to deal with lines and crowds. Just in-n-out. How did I discover this ma & pa liquor store? Once, when my buddies and I were hanging out late at the Starbucks(El Camino & Lawrence) and decided to switch beverages, we peered across the parking lot and saw in the distant darkness a red-lighted Budweiser sign. The strip mall where the store was located was totally dark, so it wasn’t too difficult to spot the sign. It’s on the same side behind the Burger King at El Camino & Halford. We were over there in a flash.
