Portman Dodd OD

My family and I have been going to Dr. Dodd for close to 15 years. We love how friendly the staff are, but especially Dr. Dodd. I highly recommend them!

Very good doctor. Eye exam was good and they had good collection of eye glasses.
He talks a lot but I don’t care about this as long as I can see properly.

I chose Dr. Portman based on Unilocal reviews and have no regrets. He’s personable and to the point. The office staff is helpful and service seems immediate! My first glasses looked great but I found that they hurt my nose when wearing them for long times, something I did not notice when I tested the frames. After a few adjustments and nose pad changes that helped but did not solve the problem, I was offered the choice of picking a different frame. I chose a lighter weight one and the fit is perfect. Expecting some sort of ‘change’ fee, I was surprised to see my credit card refunded for the difference in cost (new frame was cheaper). No wonder they get top reviews. I highly recommend his office!

I have been a patient of Dr. Portman’s for over 10 years now. My mom brought me here as a kid and I have continued to come back for all of my eye care needs over the years as well as those of my family which include 3 kids and hubby! He’s awesome and makes you feel extremely welcome and right at home. I have moved all over the bay area since I first started coming to this office and no matter how far I move, I have always been more than willing to go out of my way to come here!
The office staff is awesome and the ladies go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of. They also offer a wide selection of kid’s, men’s and women’s eye glasses, sunglasses and even the sport goggles. They have something to fit everyone’s price range and all the latest styles. What more could you ask for?! Plenty of parking in back as well as in front on the street.
You would be crazy not to give them a try!
