Used to love this place for a local happy hour, cheap drinks and decent apps, with a great view, but thought it was very over-priced when going there as a family for a meal. My Salmon tacos were actually pretty good, but the beans and rice were ok to bad. Rice was super crunchy like from the bottom of a pan, replacement ones were just as bad. Our server was pretty good and comped me for the bad rice. Probably serves well as a tourist spot down by the harbor but wouldn’t plan an evening around it.

Worst restaurant experience ever. I wish I could give zero stars. Went here when both Brophys and The Waterfront Grill were booked solid and we were starving. The menu looked ok. When we got inside we were seated next to a filthy window(literally grime all over the ledge) and the place was absolutely freezing. I seriously regret not leaving then and there but we were starving. We should have had a clue when this place was empty and everywhere else in the harbor had an hour wait. A waitress came and said the«bar would be helping» us that night. No one came after that until we had to flag someone down to order. The guy finally came over and literally just grunted at us. We ordered halibut tacos and the plates were just shoved in front of us. No comments, nothing. The fish was not fresh, there were beans covering everything(too salty to eat, as was the rice) and the whole thing was pretty much inedible. Didn’t feel too well later that night either. We had to ask for a bill, again just tossed at us. Over $ 40 for a couple of really poor quality frozen fish tacos. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I actually have no clue how they could possibly still be in business. Don’t eat here — unless you’re the health department secretly trying to shut them down!

The clam chowder was presented as award winning. Maybe, but I’m sure it wasn’t for best tasting. The broth was vinegary with too much celery for my taste. The service was bad. Or waitress seemed as though she would prefer not to serve us. The process were definitely too high for the wishlist of the food. If it hadn’t been for convenient parking I would never eat there.

What an awesome bar! While we were touring the upstairs portion of the maritime museum, I heard a familiar sound. Yes, my friends, it was the sound of Sunday football. In between the exhibits at the very back, I could clearly see my fellow brothers and sisters sipping on libations and staring up at the big screens. Subtlety was not their game, «oh enjoy the museum, OH and come drink/eat at our bar after, we’ve got that one sport on that everyone likes.» The bar is called Endless Summer Café and Bar, and uses the exact same picture as the one from the movie, pretty awesome. I saw that they had their own signatures wines, but I went with something else. They were having football Sunday specials, $ 5 draft beers, mimosas, and bloody marys. Yes! They had chili as their food special that day, in addition to their full menu. I got the Ceasar Salmon, which was delicious. A little heavy on the dressing, but they were generous with the Parmesan cheese and the size of the salmon filet. It was easy to snag a seat up front at the bar. They had multiple tvs, with all the different games on, including red zone! My neck did get tired switching back and forth to the different tvs, but being up to date with all the games that were on at that time, was well worth the pain. The bartenders and servers were really nice people. Very friendly and attentive. You could tell they enjoyed working there and working with one another. They were all helping each other out, so even when the place got real packed, you never felt like you’d have to wait forever to get served again. Jaime the bartender was super sweet, and we really enjoyed talking with her. They even had a little raffle where they gave away gift certificates and sweaters. If a team the bartenders liked(or a team you liked, and you let them know lol) scored a touchdown, they’d ring a bell behind the bar. It was energetic and a lot of fun! There definitely seemed like there were a lot of regulars for that place. The bartenders called a lot of customers by name and knew what they wanted to drink. I always feel that lots of regulars are usually a sign of a good bar. In addition to great food and service, the view behind the bar of the water is spectacular. They even have an outside patio, but it was a little chilly out, so we stayed indoors. I think the view at the bar was the best though… You had the tvs, immediate access to drinks/food, and you could still see the water! Definitely will be back when we make our way to Santa Barbara again!

If your local hotel gives your a gift certificate to this place just toss it. It’s still way too over priced. We paid $ 65 for a kids cheeseburger, a regular cheeseburger(which was the same size as the kids burger just served on a burger bun), average fish and chips and a cup of lobster bisque so thin I could have drank it with a cocktail straw. I wish I was exaggerating on that one. Overall awful food for the price.

We were«playing tourist» at home and that was our fault to venture to the tourist trap restaurants down there at the harbor, but the views are amazing at those places. We sat on the patio for about 20 minutes before any service, we had to get up and ask for someone to help with our order. Poor gal seemed over sat and yet had no urgency and just said«oh sorry I didn’t see you». Our food took forever, but when it came it was really good, for clam chowder and salad. It just was a stressful lunch watching every table around us experience terrible service us included.

We love to come here for the Happy hour and, of course the phenomenal view of the harbor. Get the salmon tacos, they are quite delicious and are ample enough to share.

Pros: Great views, fun atmosphere, free popcorn, occasional live music, overall great crowd, nice staff Cons: Food is mediocre and way overpriced. Drinks are a little pricey, but to be expected at the harbor. This is a great spot to enjoy some sunset drinks and I have had some really fun nights here having drinks. The food is nothing special, but with high end restaurant pricing. If you order at the outside window, you can spend $ 20 on a salad and not even get table service. Sorry, but if I’m paying a lot of money for flavorless food, I’d like it to at least be served to me. Bottom line… come here for drinks, go to Brophy’s or On the Alley for food.

Went in for food and a drink and were told at 8:45 that the kitchen had closed 10 minutes ago. What? Your hours are til 9:30pm. Weak!

I think the 3.5 rating is accurate: good, but nothing I got was anything to highly recommend. I wish they had grilled veggies with their main dishes, I felt like all their dishes were a little heavy handed with your side options being beans/rice or a creamy Cesar salad. Mahi mahi was under seasoned, but the rice was salty enough to pull it together. The Bombdiggity was okay, but felt like a little too much of everything. I will say our server was pretty on it, without being overly hover-y. Great service. Popcorn shrimp felt fresh, hot, and the cocktail sauce had a nice dash of horseradish. I’d go here for the view, if you’re in the mood for seafood/fried foods, and some fast service.

This is a nice spot with a great location. The food is tasty and the service is friendly. The clam chowder is great. They have a kids menu. The Cobb salad is tasty but it is served on a plate too small to toss it yourself without pushing your food off the plate. It’s an inconvenient but minor detail. I recommend the location.

Watch out, I did not feel good after Mediterranean mussels. Probably should have stopped after I felt something was wrong with it, but I’m not an expert in seafood, so now I suffer

I’ve been to endless summer a few times now and I am still not impressed with this place. Their drinks and food is alright, but overpriced. The only thing this place has is a good view and a pool table outside. 3 stars is for the view.

Stopped for lunch Sunday 4⁄12. We are from Northern California Bay Area, & this was our first time visiting & walking the harbor area in Santa Barbara. The view from the street looked inviting, & the sign from the street lured us up. We were seated in the patio area, which had a beautiful view. I ate a black bean burger, my boyfriend had the rincon burger & my daughter had apple slices & plate of fries. We also shared a yummy desert! Mud pie! My burger was great & the rincon burger was one of the best he’s ever had. I tasted it & it was so juicy & delicious! Waiter was friendly & made sure to fill up our water glasses when we asked for more. Great food & atmosphere. We’d go back!

3÷21÷2015 We stopped on a recommendation from the waterfront shuttle driver. Party of 3 no wait, we were taken upstairs to the patio seating area overlooking the marina. 2 cups of Santa Barbara’s Best Clam chowders(it was DECENT) not BEST. 1-Grilled Salmon Ceaser Salad… Grilled to perfection. 2 thumbs up! 1-order of Sliders(3 mini burgers) my son enjoyed! 1-Baja Chicken Sandwich(nicely seasoned & grilled) the avocado spread was tasty. Our server was very friendly. A bit pricey, but hey its Santa Barbara with a marina view. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. On the weekends I would suggest live music. Pretty quiet for a weekend.
