We just had a wedding in Solvang and Mathias made it even more special. It was a small ceremony with the family so went with the private chef option instead of catering.
We read great reviews but still went into it blindly (didn’t taste the food). We worked on the menu together and he was very flexible and accommodative. We really liked that Mathias uses seasonal ingredients and even incorporated our family cake with his desert. All in all it was amazing. The taste, quality, presentation… everything.

Chef Mattias was hired for my fathers 75th Birthday. Our family was going through a difficult time. He showed up and was kind, gentle and took care of the family. We felt at home with him in our kitchen. The table was perfect, the pace was respectful and the soup was a topic of conversation for days to follow. I don’t post on Unilocal,but making an exception. He was perfect. Happy to recommend.

We just had a fantastic experience with Mattias. We had a group of 12 renting a house for the weekend for my 40th birthday. We wanted a special meal as our last supper. Mattias was very well organized and presented some great options in advance. We agreed on the menu and he took care of the rest — even providing menu cards for each place setting. The meal was amazing. Every single person there was very impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. He cleaned up very nicely after as well as we continued to drink wine and have fun. It was a great night and I would highly recommend Mattias to anyone looking for a high quality meal.

Mattias helped my husband and I celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with a wonderful beachfront dinner. The food was excellent, service was on point and professionalism was outstanding. Mattias inquired as to what I wanted and made my vision come to fruition. It was a pleasure working with him and I highly recommend his services.
