Muller & Weber Physical Therapy

Have had positive experiences with the therapists for ankle, legs, back and shoulder. But it was time to have my neck taken care of the staff did a terrible job. They referred to my old records and I would have therapy on the wrong part of the body. The new therapist I had paid no attention to the MRI or me. Staff paid no attention to the pres1cription.

Over the last twenty years, the great folks at Muller and Weber have taken care of two total knee replacements and one total hip replacement for me.
Karin Jones was the in-​home therapist after my most recent hip, and I cannot recommend her too highly.
In the office, John Muller is absolutely the tops in his field. He’s firm but fun, knowledgeable and challenging, and best of all, very effective.
If you need PT, this is the place, hands down!

After a total knee replacement, Karin Jones was my in-​home physical therapist. She was at once caring, careful, encouraging and firm — helping me begin my recovery on the right track and at the appropriate pace.
PT after TKR is not a cake walk but is essential to regain flexibility and straightening of the new joint. Karin started by making sure I had enough mobility to care for my basic needs at home, then moved to to gradually extend my range of motion and to improve my gait. She added and adapted exercises according to my changing abilities and as my pain lessened or relocated. She also suggested appropriate tools for me (hiking poles instead of cane) so that they would be useful as I improved and am able to take up my previous sports as well as daily activities.
Her assistant Monica was an excellent coach, helping me to achieve more than I thought I could.
Adam my nurse/​case manager was knowledgeable and compassionate, carefully and throughly answering all my many questions about concerns. He also offered valuable pieces of advice which have greatly improved my overall well-​being and recovery.
I highly recommend this team.

I went to Muller & Weber after experiencing back pain from sitting at my office job. I was able to do my appointments during my lunch hour and after about six weeks I no longer had any back pain. I continue to do the exercise regimen that was prescribed by John and haven’t had a need to return since. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing PT in the Santa Barbara area.
