So i hardly get Yoshinoya: 1. Because I feel like the food isn’t good. 2. The meat doesn’t seem real. 3. The ambiance just isn’t for me. The only thing i do like is that they have the Japanese pepper in to-go packets. This is my personal opinion… a lot of my friends actually like the place.

I normally get greeted here, but I’m guessing we all have those bad days. They all seem to be stressed out due to the lack of support they had around. I asked one of the ladies for a coin to use the restroom. But told me to ask the lady working the cashier…? Did I mention she was just standing there and texting? Maybe she was on her break or not. But it seems like the two working the front and kitchen needed the help… It makes me sad seeing this, but we all have those hardworking employees and of course the slackers…

It’s 11:50 and you’re closed? You’re not suppose to close until 12am. Screw this place.

It says they close at 12 but what they really mean is 11:30 I called in an order around 11:30 and they almost didn’t want to take my order??? Only 2 plates, not like it was a dozen. I show up 11:40 and they only have one plate says she didn’t hear me. Then turns to the cook to see if he wants to make my beef bowl.(Doent look like he wants to make it either… How uncomfortable is that… Point is make sure you don’t show up around 11:30pm they might turn you away.

Came to this restaurant. .not what I expected, food is looks very old tasted old .I got a veggie chicken bowl. I ask for veggie and chicken only. They gave me only a little bit of veggies and old chicken with alot of teriyaki sauce my bowl looked like soup. It was just not what I wanted in my belly. They need to get re train is not the employees fault for they fallow what’s been trained. Hopefully it gets better.

I came in here after not coming for about 5 to 6 years and now I remember why the food was disgusting and I would not be back

Soo cheap! But bummer — I went to this chain years ago and it was good. This time around the teriyaki sauce was not good, the bowl had a vinegar flavor? chicken not good quality. Too bad.

everything you would expect in a Yoshinoya. Nothing spectacular. Your just here to fill up your stomach because you forgot your lunch at home and your bored of hamburgers.

I hadn’t been to one of these in years and since I was in nearby Anaheim recently, I decided to check this location out late one Saturday evening. When I pulled up, another car was also parking and its occupants walking into Yoshinoya, otherwise this place was totally empty at around 11 pm. I ordered a large beef bowl and soda, which came out pretty quickly. The large beef bowl is served in a box and it was just beef and onions with a little bit of teriyaki sauce over a bed of rice. The beef was juicy and not too salty, and there wasn’t too much sauce which was good. The large bowl is a pretty large portion and I would just stick with the normal size next time around. They close around midnight so this would be a good spot for a 2nd dinner and it certainly doesn’t hurt that it’s super cheap either.

I came here today for lunch and ordered the beef bowl. I thought it was a cheap price and the taste was good. The service was fast which was good for me since I had a limited time to eat. The cashier was friendly. Good customer service, will b one of my spots from now on to eat lunch.

Beef bowl, large. Only my strong constitution and food stamina permitted me to eat almost the whole thing. Plus, I am cheap, so I can’t waste food. Awful, Inedible. Gross. Boiled, bland, and tough stringy hard-to-swallow thin beef strips on overcooked rice. I didn’t check in because I wasn’t going to review. Heck it’s just 3 dimensional food. Next time I will get a burrito at 7 – 11 instead of this muk.

What’s not to like about this fast food joint. Japanese good, sticky rice good, thin slice beef in marinate good, onions good, ginger good, red pepper and soy good. If your hungry and need something fast that will satisfy, this is a better alternative than McDonalds or Burger King if its close by to you. Get your rice fix on!

I haven’t been to a Yoshinoya in ages — so when my girlfriend suggested the place on our way back from the Discovery Science Center, here we were! I ordered the beef and chicken combo bowl, and Kathy ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl — both hit the spot, and the beef reminded me of how delicious the food at the chain is. The rice is a bit mushy, though. Oh, and the pickled ginger that can be mixed in with your order is a must! Pretty clean place, though parking can be a pain due to the small lot. Still, coming here made me want to check out the Yoshinoya location closest to my place in San Diego… and besides, I want one of those teacups, too!

Well this is your typical Yoshinoya. Its had a recent remodeling(I have come here on and off since 93 so its not the only time). But they are near the OC Courthouse so that is a huge plus IMHO. This joint is kept clean. The service is fairly quick with a smile most of the time. Pro Tip: Use coupons if you can get them(they are sent with your junk mail). The rice is neither al dente nor mush… the beef is tasty… the onions sometimes need to be cooked a bit more than others… Parking isnt tough as they have a small lot. But seriously folks… this place isnt that great at all. but its better than most fast food and its really hard to screw up beef n rice…
