Waba Grill

We arrive here at 8:53pm to order food. The cashier asked us for here or to go and also advise us that she wouldn’t want to rush us but they do close in 5 mins. So does that really give us an option to eat here?! All chairs are all up on the table tops as if they’re ready to leave at closing time 9pm.

No even a hi when you walk in.
I came to eat. The girl who took my order seriously need to change her attitude it’s horrible.
No smile or nothing.
Came with the family not even a chair to seat.
I understand it was time for their break.
Plus their event of korean people having all the chair not helping at all.
Trust me my first and last time in this place.

Very friendly staff and they know about customer service they always great you with a smile and won’t pressure you to place an order and even they will help to suggest

Went here for lunch today but wasn’t all that impressed. It’s a decent place for lunch and definitely one of those places you can take out once a week or something. No charge to substitute for brown rice is nice.
For the food: I got a salmon rice bowl for just under $ 10 after tax. The fish itself is pretty good. The veggies are just steamed/​boiled, no added salt so needed the teriyaki sauce to make it taste good. It looks like they heat up the meat on the grill before serving, so that’s nice. Ask for the teryaki sauce if they don’t.
Inside seating is about enough for 20 – 30 people, few tables of 4 people each. From ordering to getting my food was pretty fast, maybe like five minutes. Overall this is an A-​okay lunch place that gets the job done. I’ll come back again to try the chicken steak purge people have reviewed to see if that impresses.

Came to this location the other night with my family the half and half veggie bowl was good the rice was a little dry but the sauce made up for it.
The only reason why I gave four stars is because when we walked in to the place it smelled really bad we even sat outside and ate because the smell got to us. The lady at the register was very nice by the way.

What to say.
I live very close to this location and walk by it almost everyday. It smells AMAZING too and it’s always difficult for me to walk by without getting a bite. So on occasion I have stopped a few times since its opening. Tried the steak chicken and salmon and though all are great the salmon is hands down my favorite. Took me a while and I almost gave up coming when I discovered how good it is. Brown or white rice.
The reason I am giving this place only one star is because it’s this salmon bowl that they have my business, until today.
I was eagerly anticipating sinking my teeth into the soft flaky salmon that’s perfectly matched with their Teriyaki sauce.
Though I was in high spirits and trying to be friendly the girl working there was to have none of this positive attitude. She hardly ever made eye contact and when she did it looked like she wanted to kill me and everyone else in the building. NEVER a smile.
Sad that she is a representative of this business and the face and personality that people will come to know is WaBa grill here in Santa Ana.
I will not be coming back to this location, but I will find another WaBa (with friendly employees) to satisfy my salmon cravings.

Good location with ample parking and easy access. Food items are freshly prepared and tasting good. Prices are very reasonable, that pleases thin pokets. Menu shows calories — so it makes choices easy. Service is friendly and prompt.

This is a brand new Waba Grill location that just opened within a month. It has very nice and cozy interior as well as an outdoor patio dining area. I tried the chicken bowl with brown rice and steamed vegetables. Chicken was so soft and refresh. It tasted really good with the teriyaki sauce and the Waba Grill special hot sauce. It is situated in a large shopping mall with other stores and restaurants. I highly recommend this location.

Small dining area with no restroom. Oops, they have restroom in the back.
