There are a lot of amazing hole-in-the-wall Mexican places in Santa Ana. I haven’t been to them all, but this one is the best that I’ve had! The staff — so sweet! The food — so delicious! They offer a wide selection of Japanese and Mexican food. Teriyaki and tostadas don’t seem like a good mix, but these guys know their stuff. I got a torta. I love tortas. But this torta really set a new standard for tortas. They have nice dining areas inside and outside; even though they’re on busy 1st St, their patio’s cloaked with plants and lots of shade. All in all, A+. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I was driving down the street for lunch and thought maybe I wanted a burger, but then I saw this place. On the window it said, «taco shop». I thought, «MmmmMmm!» So I went in and got a torta plate. It came with rice, beans, and guacamole. The place is owned by a Japanese couple. Weird, but the food seemed authentic and good. Credit and debit cards will be charged $ 0.50. I suggest cash for this place. I had a carne asada torta. Muy sabroso! There was this idiot of a guy sitting behind me and we were both watching the news. It was a special coverage about a plane that was about to make an emergency landing. This idiot starts talking to himself and says, «Hahaha it’s gonna catch on fire and blow up! hahahha». A$$hole!!! So the food and service are good. The patrons(except me of course)…they’re stupid!
