I was tired and stopped to grab a cup of joe. Drive thru took over 30 minutes to get one cup of coffee on a Sunday evening! Not even peak hours. What a waste of time! I sat so long o wanted to go to Coffee Bean down the street.

This is a really small Starbucks located inside the vons. I like how they have a small seating area to the side.
Going during 3 – 4 pm on a Monday… there was actually quite a bit of customers but there was only one Starbucks employee. He had to make the drinks one by one and try to take orders at the same time. At one point I think he went to take a break and there were customers waiting for a good 5 minutes before he came back.

Zero stars! This Starbucks sucks! The coffee here cost more that the regular store. I came here to shop at Vons and wanted a refill on my coffee and they don’t give free refills to Gold card holders. Then I tried to get a free coffee from an email that I received from Starbucks and they wouldn’t accept it and said that I would have to go to a regular store. Don’t waste your time on this so called Starbucks.

Okay seriously it’s 7am and why is not a SINGLE person working the Starbucks counter. I waited for 15 minutes while the vons employees kept trying to page «Leslie» who was nowhere to be found. One employee I overheard saying «where IS she». Wow. Absolutely terrible. Ended up going to another Starbucks. The manager Dora is great but this employee is an idiot. She’s probably still not back to the Starbucks counter yet.

Zero stars!!! Horrible!!! Poor excuse of a Starbucks. Rude employees, No customer service, tasteless drinks! I tried complaining to Starbucks corporate however because they are located inside Von’s they have no control!!! Wtf???
My advice stay away. Go to a real Starbucks, with employees who know how to make drinks and care about their job.

For whatever reason I constantly get poor service at this Starbucks but usually friendly clerks at Vons. I come to Vons a few times a week and sometimes stop at their starbucks. Every single time they make me feel like I’ve inconvenienced them. No smiles, lethargic monotone voices, and never a greeting. Sometimes they get the drink right… but there have even times where they were made horribly. If only they weren’t so convenient!!!

Me: standing in front of the register waiting for service on Sunday, jan 12 at 8:15 am.
Starbucks employee (SE): putting sugar packets in the cubby areas while talking to the other employee about what they did last night.
Me: Hi!
SE: looks at me, no response, still talking to the other girl
Me: can I order something?
SE: I’ll be right with you. Then she continues to talk to the other girl while completely ignoring me.
Me: I’m ready to order! At this point I have been waiting for 5 min. I’m getting a little annoyed. There is no one behind me, no other customer. I can’t understand what is going on. She still ignores me while looking for stir sticks.
SE: finally she slowly walks over in a low tired voice says «what can I get you?» No eye contact, no smile, nothing but contempt because I had audacity to order a drink?!
What a terrible experience! I hate this place!

If there is no line you have a better shot at getting your regular coffee within 4 minutes. If there is just one person in front if you and they order a stupid drink you’ll be in there for 10 – 15 minutes. I witnessed the old lady working fuck up three fraps and still couldn’t get it right. It takes more with just one person in front of you than when you have 15 people in front of you at a regular Starbucks. The Von’s it’s in is amazing. I get their bagels which are amazing. Too bad the Starbucks doesn’t stand up to their standards.
