Not that great. I had a turkey burger and got sick the same day. I am not going back. Sorry but it wasn’t very good.

Don’t go if you have a flight to catch. We arrived at 11:30 and didn’t see any food for 35 minutes by the clock. The hostess initially told us there were no seats although we saw more than 15 empty tables. A waitress came up at that point and seated us in an almost vacant section. Our waitress didn’t show up for some time after we were seated. She didn’t come back again until I tracked her down to get our bill. Someone else brought out someone else’s meal and then later ours. The burger looked like it had a bite out of it but there wasn’t time to return it and make our flight. No one ever refilled our cups. We ended up paying over $ 30 for two passable burgers which we had to gobble down. It took 51 minutes from the time we arrived until we got our bill. The people next to us never got a shake they ordered. People continued to be turned away even though we could see at least ten empty tables. We love Ruby’s but not this one. All we got for our money here was stress and indigestion.

Thought I’d try it again… the old saying«fool me once, shame on you…», well, shame on me. Walked in and asked to be seated so I could see the concourse noting all the tables were empty in the front. I was told that the waitress for that section was on lunch and so nobody could sit in that area. Really? REALLY? I walked out. Never will I go to Ruby’s Diner again. However, my departure led me to The Sand Bar… check out my review on them.

Service was good. The chili was inedible. Nasty pile of slop, no beans, just shredded meat and who knows what filler. I had saltines for lunch as a result :(

It’s airport food so you have to have the right expectations for overpriced mediocre food. That’s why I ordered a salad which is simple to make and hard to screw up. The ingredients looked a little aged but bleu cheese dressing does wonders covering up any hint of poor quality in the other ingredients. Chicken was grilled nicely and overall it was an acceptable meal before a flight. Service was great and attentive too.

I handnt been to RUBYS in a long time, I was ready to have one of their amazing shakes. The shakes where good as always. Food was okay, nothing special but I wanted the jalapeño cheese sticks in the menu and the server inform me they no longer carry them. Theirs also a picture of them n the menu. The service was okay it was not too busy but the server seemed like she was dressed out. She kept forgetting stuff and also served others before us. Overall service was okay kinda slow Food was okay Restaurant is kept cleaned and has a full bar. Best thing on menu are the shakes.

There were only a few people here and yet it took over ½ hour to get a hamburger. Lots of staff eating ice cream. The waitress was nice.

I realize that airport food is never the best which is why this isn’t a 1 star rating. I’ve had plenty of bad experiences, bit this was really a bummer since sna is otherwise a very nice if minim airport. Security is curteous, the gates are in a logical order, and it’s not too crowded. The food at this diner is just bad. The malt I got was undermixed and the burger I got was overcooked. Overcooking a burger is okay if it’s at least crispy, but the guac burger I got was greasy and underseasoned. I tried to salvage it with some mustard, but both ketchup and mustard bottles were empty. I’m just glad I didn’t have to get on a flight soon because on top of all that, it took 30 min just to get my order taken. I should have been cautious when I saw nobody at the restaurant went I came in. At least I was seated quickly. Honestly, just grab some in-n-out before you come to sna. Its better than anything they offer here.

Darlene is the best server I have ever had. She is simply the best. Prompt curtesy and professional she made me feel at home. She is an asset to this company. I travel a lot and have been through many airports and to many places to stop and eat and she goes above and beyond for her customers. I can’t wait to come back to see her again!

Do not come here unless you have an hour to spare. I felt really bad for the waitress, she was waiting on at least 10 tables. This place is so understaffed. The host was texting away and had little to no care about what was going on. It took about 16 minutes to get service. Tip: order your food AND dessert at the beginning to avoid waiting.

This place is just terrible. Unfortunately with no good choices at the airport. …i find myself coming back here to check something new on the menu hoping it is better than the last thing i had here. No such luck so far. Had the supposedly healthy egg white omelet with fruit. Spinach, tomato, mushroom and disgusting American cheese. What the heck is healthy about nasty processed American cheese! It was inside the omelet and couldn’t be removed. Gross. This was the worst thing ever. I’m done with this place. Does anybody from management care about the bad reviews they have been getting?

One star because I can do negative stars! This place is not worth stopping in. There has to be somewhere else in this airport worth eating at! Long wait for everything, seating, water, order, food delivery. To top it all off the food was cold and my sandwich with avocado had no avocado on burnt toasted bread! My daughter ordered a special patty in her burger, it was not there. She had onion rings on the side. Do you know how bad cold onion rings taste? Not coming back here!!! no water refill either!

Service was sub-par; took fifteen minutes for the waitress to acknowledge me at my table and then another 5 minutes to take my order. Veggie omelet was tasty but with too much cheese; potatoes were not fresh and resembled nothing like the picture on the menu. Waitress came by when I was finished eating to ask how my food was and to refill my glass. She was very friendly but seemed incredibly distracted by something happening in the kitchen. Not worth the $ 15 spent.

Not a great experience. The poor staff just looked unenergetic and it wasn’t crowded. Corned beef hash was sad and forlorn while the breakfast potatoes were cold and hard. Eggs are okay. Coffee ok. Airport food generally isn’t great but this was unimpressive.

Great local joint in the heart of SNA airport. You can do classic diner(shakes & burgers & onion rings) or do healthier fare(I did a low carb burger — no bun, lettuce«exterior» a la protein style at In-N-Out) with a side salad. Delish. I’ll go back.

All airport food is expensive. Stopped here located in the United terminal because, well it’s this or plane food. I got the breakfast burrito with bacon. Came with a home fries and seemed to me like a small cup of chili Wellll. They used real eggs in the burrito and the chili was really good. As were the potatoes. I’d come back for food here if I’m here for a flight for sure.

Oh we so miss Ruby’s in Seattle. I just had to have the turkey cranberry sandwich one more time. Great service, fab selection, and a cocktail bar with a TV in an airport with no TVs. Food came quickly during lunch rush. The wait staff didn’t bother me, and the tea was excellent.

My experience seems to be pretty in line with the other Unilocalers. Good food, bad service. They have an excellent selection of vegetarian options for breakfast, probably the best I’ve seen at any airport restaurant. I love the burrito and the breakfast sandwich, both available with veggie sausage. When I was recently there for lunch, I got the veg-which, which came with spinach, tomato and avocado. Pretty good overall, but I grabbed a table in the dining room and would have missed my flight if I didn’t have an extra hour for the whole ordeal. Pro tip: order from the take out counter and then eat your food at the bar right next to it if you’re in a hurry. The service seems to be better there.

Had breakfast here one morning before boarding my flight to Denver. Sat at the bar and ordered a veggie omelet with spinach, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and cheese, plus a side of bacon and tomato juice and coffee. Omelet came out in a decent amount of time, was hot, but needed some salt. I added my own salt, black pepper, and hot sauce to spruce it up. Omelet was good, bacon was excellent! Took a little longer than I would have preferred to pay the check. I guess the bartender was a little swamped!

It was a slow Saturday morning at Ruby’s Diner. A chain of restaurants I used to frequent when I lived in Washington State, before they all closed down. As far as I knew they went out of business. So my Grandma, Mom, and I sat down and ordered breakfast. The waitress was friendly, attentive, and I think the food was great compared to these other reviews. I ordered the Butcher’s Block Omelet, My mom ordered the Breakfast Burrito, and my Grandma ordered Oatmeal. Omelet came out great(Thank you for cooking the bacon BEFORE putting it in the omelet!). My mom’s burrito was great she said and was huge, she only ate half. For my grandma, oatmeal was great and thank god because if you mess up oatmeal you shouldn’t work in the food industry. Also we shared the Beignets. Oh my freaking lord. Game changing.
