Amazing. Amazing. Amazing — service, food, diner experience. From the front door to cashing out this restaurant team is ONIT. Can’t wait to return.

The lady that waitresses is extremely nice. You get very large portions of food for reasonable price. $ 10.52 for French toast, four sausage links, and two eggs. Tasted good. If I lived here I would probably frequent. It is in an industrial area so it is dated but it is a café and not a restaurant with a café name. Give em a shot.

Seen this place for decades, just recently stopped in. Customer service great, food prices comparable to Norms but much more variations available. Corned Beef and Hash is outstanding and apparently made in house. Can’t beat 2 Pancakes, 2 eggs and either 2 bacon strips or sausages for under $ 5. Recommend to all, at least try once!!! Has a diner feel and look but the steaks and eggs better at Norms. 2 thumbs up!!!

This place is a great off the path breakfast and lunch place with a small home town café feel. It’s a home cooked taste that is always consistent. Eggs Benedict and omelets will hit the spot so make sure your try them when you visit.

Two eggs — any style, country potatoes, 4 strips of bacon and toast. This is the kind of breakfast I love to death and it’s the #1 item on their menu. And I’m in heaven. And then I order a large orange juice and it’s the same size as the ice water. That rocks! This is what I call homestyle cooking. Upscale? Not in the least. It’s a bare bones diner that’s seen better days. And although they serve breakfast all day, they add $ 1 per plate if you order a breakfast plate after 11AM. CASHONLY.

I really do feel bad about this, but… it is what it is. The service was great, but the food, the raison d’etre of a resturaunt, was horribly, egregiously off mark. I ordered the chorizo scramble, with a side of sautéed mushrooms. It seemed fine at first but then I dug into the hash browns. A terrible odor greeted my nose as it approached my lips. Not wanting to waste food, I took a bite. Alas! It was sour and watery, like a large, long dead worm had entered my mouth. The rest of the hash brown seemed to have been made of the same material. I asked the waitress for a replacement, and she said she could do peaches. The peaches were satisfactory, but nowhere near as substantial as the hash browns woulda been. I left hungry. I have never tasted hash browns gone this far south, and I don’t think I ever want to again. Maybe this was an off day, maybe it was because I came in at 5:45 am, but don’t care. I’m not returning. Yeah, I know this is a humble breakfast establishment. I knew what I wanted. However, even Dennys wouldn’t serve me hash browns with a brown and green tinted juicy center. Sayonara! Edit: they charged me a 2 dollars for a small side of sautéed mushrooms! And they can’t afford to make reasonably edible hash browns? For frickle-frackle’s sake, the chorizo scramble was 7 dollars! If I didn’t have a roomate that slept in, I’d take my own 10 cent spuds and whip up something that won’t give me food poisoning! Yeah, I’m mad.

After passing by several times I decided to stop by and check it out. The hamburger special was a good deal. $ 5.79 include soda and fries. Both hamburger and fries were freshly made. As other reviewers said the lady were friendly and refill your drinks very often. I saw other customers came here for the breakfast. Price were low, who care about the décor. Overall, decent food at a low price.

my coworkers were craving breakfast, and i found this place with my trusty Unilocal app. this place is located in the middle of an industrial area of santa ana. i ended up getting the red hill country fried steak special. it comes with hash brown and fried battered steak with a biscuit and gravy on top. it definitely satisfied my breakfast craving. if you’re in the area, i’d recommend checking this place out. food is cheap and pretty good. good place to get breakfast items. they only take cash, if they accepted card, i’d bump it up a star.

I Unilocaled this place and it was a great find you can’t miss it Red Hill Café sign clearly posted located om the corner. So me & my lovely sister came in to feed the beast that lives within us when your starving! Roar… we go over the menu and they serve breakfast & lunch only! & only except $CASH$ my sister got the special 2 fluffy pancakes scrambled eggs &4 sausage Mmmmm I was undecided and asked the waitress for a sample of the roast beef which was the daily special for Monday she was more than happy to bring me a slice of roast beef and let me tell you it was tender, seasoned to perfection I loved it so I ordered the special open face roastbeef sandwich on top of white bread with your choice of potato I got mine with mash potato and gravy on the side I enjoyed every bite it was delicious and my sister breakfast was great pancakes were so lite and fluffy And let me tell you we ordered our food and it came to the table in less than 15 Minutes including ordering wow and it was piping hot!!! For what it is, not bad. We were in the area, needed some breakfast-y type items, and came by. Parking may be a little difficult. It’s in a center shared with auto mechanics, so you’ll see other cars parked in the parking lot, waiting to be repaired. We came by on a Saturday around 11am. Luckily, one car was already pulling out, so we took that space. Came in, was told we could take any seat, was given our menus. We ordered our waters, checked out the menu, and let them know what we wanted. I ended up getting a breakfast burrito with wet sauce, while hubby got a short stack of pancakes, bacon, and eggs. My burrito was definitely pretty huge, and very tasty. Loved the awesome filling inside. Hubby’s bacon was huge and crispy, and his pancakes were light and fluffy. Scrambled eggs were pretty good, too. Probably will be back if we’re in the area. Cash only. Good portion sizes. Service was friendly. Good selection of breakfast items.

Forewarning: This review is going to be VERY biased. I have been visiting Redhill Coffee Shop(Redhill Café) ever since I was a little kid with my dad. Even then I remember the owner always being friendly and greeting us. I loved going there so much that after I got stationed in California I started to go there semi regularly. On the day of my mother’s wedding I went in dressed for the occasion(she asked me to wear one of my dress uniforms) and the owner took special care to come introduce him self to me and told me about his prior service in the Air Force. The next day when I went back in Civilian clothes he remembered me and from then on he’s never forgotten my name and even graced me with his presence at my 21st birthday party at Limericks Tavern(also a great place. Definitely worth checking out) With that said here are some things that you should know about the restaurant. It has always been and most likely will always be cash only. The owner is just shy of 80 years old and he’s not interested in changing the way he runs business. There is no ATM inside; however there is an ATM across the street if you don’t come prepared. A lot of people immediately jump on the steak and eggs, but just as a helpful tip the best food that they have are their omelets and biscuits and gravy. This establishment is extremely military friendly and if the owner is working and finds out your military be prepared for him to want to talk(and be prepared for an awesome discount. Tip appropriately!) Parking can be iffy sometimes and if you go on a weekend expect to wait for a table since this place is always packed. Due to the fact that it’s a pretty small place they have some problems with people overstaying their welcome. They have had to ask patrons to leave numerous times because they will spend 30+ min sitting at their table after finishing eating while the line grows longer and longer outside with no regard to the people around them. They do not rush you through your meal by any means, but do try to keep in mind that they are trying to keep the traffic flowing. All in all I have been visiting Redhill regularly for the last 3 years and I always stop in when I’m visiting from San Diego. It is by far my favorite breakfast place I’ve eaten at and bring friends and famil in as much as possible whenever possible. Check them out and tell Jim Ethan says hi if you do!

This unassuming little diner is located on Main and Dyer and has a pretty small parking lot that it shares with a couple other auto-type businesses. I know I’ve driven by this place a couple times but I never gave it much thought. My cousin and I decided to check this place out after learning it was only a 5 minute drive from my apartment complex. We realized upon arrival that it was a cash only place and thankfully he had enough cash on him for the two of us. I ordered the chicken fried steak with two eggs over easy and a side of hash browns. I also asked for an English muffin. My cousin ordered a breakfast burrito with chorizo and hash brown. We also had two cups of coffee. I couldn’t finish my entrée since there was a hell of a lot of country gravy on the steak but what I could eat was pretty good… not Tennessee good, but not bad for out here. They could work on their gravy to steak ratio. My cousin ended up eating half his burrito and boxing the rest for later. We decided to eat at the counter and received excellent service. Who am I kidding? The place is small so I know everyone received prompt and friendly service. It’s a nice little greasy spoon and I wouldn’t mind coming back with friends or on my own. Just remember to bring cash.

I’ll keep this one short and sweet. Red Hill Café is not quite what I was expecting but I probably needed to lower my expectations. It’s a diner in an industrial area of town that serves yummy food but there isn’t any ambiance. I love diners, but i love a side of ambiance with my food, too. The parking area is very small, the food is good and the service was friendly. If you’re looking for a place to have breakfast on a weekend morning, this probably isn’t what you’re looking for. If you need a quick bite to eat while you’re out and about, then this may be the place for you.

Good breakfast, good service and convenient parking. The coffee was good but my sunny side eggs were slightly undercooked. I was not a huge fan of the«Red Hill breakfast». The breaded, chicken fried steak thingy between the biscuits just didn’t do it for me. The pork chops were a little dry and on the thin side. But overall, had a good experience here and would come back when I’m in the hood to try their bacon and sausage. Again, nothing special here, good portions of diner food at a value. Bring cash.

Came here this past Saturday for breakfast/brunch/lunch with my boyfriend and thought this was such a great hole-in-the-wall! I ordered the eggs benedict, which was beyond fantastic. The english muffin is SUPER thin, which is awesome, because I get to really enjoy the whole thing as opposed to getting stuffed on the muffin part. My boyfriend had just a plain cheese burger — nothing mind blowing – which is exactly what he wanted. I thought the service was fantastic. The server, this«lone ranger» I read in one of the reviews is the real deal. She’s super friendly, but she’s definitely about her job and I can really appreciate that. I’m definitely excited to come back — next time, pancakes!

Really a 3.5 rating. Driving up, I guess I didn’t like how it felt very industrial. The outside parking lot was filled with 18wheel-trailers and trucks. At least my little Honda found a lovely little spot that she fit nicely into! :P This place is fairly quick with service and getting you on your way but in the nicest way possible. They don’t have much in terms of TVs, but the wait staff are friendly and super chatty. They know their regulars and they treat their newcomers like family. We really appreciated the smiles and the friendly conversation before, during and after our meal. The pancakes are delicious! Light and fluffy with just a hint of either cardamon vanilla, or hazelnut… couldn’t figure it out… but it was just the essence of that spice that made those pancakes awesome! The Greek omelette was good too. They paird up nicely. I think they have some great options with chorizo or bacon… maybe I need to go with those next time. The coffee is regular diner coffee, not the finest around but great with the meal. Overall a great place to grab a bite to eat.
