This was the first time I tried Popeyes since I’ve always been a KFC fan when it came to fried chicken. I have to say the spicy fried chicken definitely has more flavor than the colonel’s 11 herbs and spices. The coleslaw was good too. I’m curious to try the other sides. What caught my eye was all the different creole inspired sauces they had. Unfortunately they are at an additional cost(.25 each) which at KFC they are pretty generous with their sauces including their KFC finger lickin’ good sauce which is definitely one of a kind.

Popeyes… Don’t do me like this!!! The service was excellent and the chicken tastes great as did the sides… But… These are not full grown chickens they are serving here. The drumstick was so small I thought it was a fried shrimp… So I looked to see what other guest experiences were on Unilocal and it seems I wasn’t the only one who felt this way. Maybe we are used to the growth hormone addicted chickens growing up? After I complained, they did swap it, but all the pieces are pretty much the same size. They explained that it simply depends on the batch they receive and sometimes they are huge, but this time… It was a rip off. The value simply was not there. For a lil under twelve dollars, I bought the 4 piece platter and the breast pieces looked normal enough but the drumstick and wing were frighteningly small. If this was all from the same chicken, it would be apparent that it had a genetic defect or two. I love Popeyes chicken normally, but someone in the supply chain is seriously messing up! If Popeyes chicken is screwing up on the chicken part of business, it’s time to move on.

Come here often inconsistent just like all locations fries cold have to ask for hot ones. Chicken strips sitting in tray drying out barely edible at times. Soda machine has been broke for weeks really? Brand new store fix it! Everything is great when hot. Staff always friendly. Smaller tenders with surf and turf special well it’s not a special if you get less right? Lastly the size of their sides is not up with competition even if there was no competition these are to small for $ 1.99−2.09 for a small see pic they charge extra for one more sauce THEYDONTHONORPROMOSYOUGETTEXTEDORONWEBSITEUNTILTHEYFEELLIKEIT. I’m sitting in the parking lot writing this review. They were kind enough to make me a fresh batch since they are technically open but it’s going take past closing to fry it. The faces of the employees look tired, and still provided awesome customer service. Thank you! You guys are awesome Thursday night shift crew!

I’ve been to a lot of different Popeyes locations and this one is by far the freshest cleanest newest looking one I’ve seen so far. This locations manager(my guess would be franchisee) was training the girl at the cashier counter and things where very smooth. The food was served really hot soda machine/drink area was clean and sweet tea was so sweet it made you feel like you were really in the south, but that’s kind of what you want if you get sweet tea! By far the best of all of their«weekly window ad promotions»(they do a weekly promotion almost every week where they give you a deal on something that’s not always on the menu.) is the surf and turf. They should keep that on the menu all the time. Let’s keep the 5 Stars in context… this is an outstanding«Popeye’s.» The Surf and turf is Chicken strips and fried shrimp(options of butterflied or popcorn shrimp an regular of spicy chicken strips) so it’s not a boosie steak and lobster spot but absolutely 5 stars in the 5 dollar meal range! Thanks for reading my review!

I wished I could give this place zero stars! I always ask for hot sauce and honey to mix and dip with fried chicken. Instead of giving me honey, they give me this sad face,(like they won’t be getting a holiday bonus now) a fist full of hot sauce and nine sporks for two pieces of chicken. Do they really think I’m going to feed 9 people with two pieces of chicken? I don’t work at that Popeyes. Though, when I send my husband to the drive thru, they call each other over and give him the googly eyes and give him a fist full of honey and hot sauce. He didn’t even order one biscuit. My husband thinks it’s because I’m not Mexican. Well, it’s just one less thing for me to do and one more thing to add to the honey do list on Tuesday. Hahahah. Honey. Just a warning to the good looking Mexican guys, beware … They might think I’m your wife and refuse condiments assuming they know who I am.

Good food bad customer service. We all like to be treated with respect and kindness. Drive thru experience was not very pleasurable. 2÷16÷16

Not bad! I remember those days when the Tuesday Specials were only $ 1, oh times have changed. Now, a leg and thigh will cost you $ 1.79 on Tuesdays… still this isn’t too shabby! I came by this location 2 days ago at around 9ish PM and ordered 4 orders of the leg and thighs. I’m actually happy with the size pieces I received here. I’ve gone to other fast food chicken places with deals and their chicken looked so anorexic. Popeyes is one of the only places that I’ll actually eat the skin. Yum! You can order the chicken mild or spicy(which isn’t very spicy). It always comes out fresh out of the fryer so it’s really hot/warm. The chicken tends to get very oily though so I can only eat 1 or 2 pieces before feeling queasy. I asked for hot sauce and they gave me both hot sauce and ketchup. and the best part is that they didn’t skimp on the packets! Caution: The Louisiana hot sauce is very acidic so if you eat on a styrofoam plate, the hot sauce will burn right through it!

I forgot what drew me here yesterday. I think it was a commercial again. Happens lately… but I probably was craving fried food and spicy. Ordered a cajun fish meal. That was fresh off the fryer. My dindins are usually on the go for my long friggin’ journey home, and yeah kinda burnt my tongue — but not complaining. It was freshly prepared food! The drive thru window displays a sign for $ 0.25 sauces. However, they let me trade the tartar sauce for buffalo sauce. That was kind. The meal came with a side and a pillow biscuit! I call it pillow cuz it’s soft and better than warm; used it to dip in the mashed potatoes. There was only one vehicle in front of me via drive-thru and service was super quick! Long story short — Popeye’s your commercial works!

When I’m craving chicken tenders, I think about Popeye’s first! I tried Cane’s chicken and it’s good but I like the spicy, crunchiness of Popeye’s chicken tenders. They have a combo which I either get the 3 or 5 piece combo(depending how hungry I am or sharing) with either the Cajun fries or mash potatoes. This is the best mash potatoes you can find for fast food or in general. I like that it has little pieces of meat in the gravy! I get the Mardi gras sauce which is like mustard and has a bit of vinegar taste to it. I also get honey, not only for the fluffy biscuit but for my chicken. It pairs well together! Try it :) Tuesdays are when they have a good deal like $ 2/for a thigh and leg I believe. The line is super long and goes all the way to the other side sometimes. This location is kind of ghetto and sometimes the workers aren’t the greatest but I ain’t complaining because I almost always take it to go. Lol.

Popeyes is my favorite fried chicken chain. But for some reason, this branch isn’t as good as few others I’ve been to. Didn’t taste as fresh for some reason. Not sure if the times I’ve driven through were because they had been sitting under the heater lamps or the chicken was simply not very fresh… but the chicken was a bit dry. One of the things I love with Popeyes is the fact that it tastes just as good when it’s cold. This wasn’t the case here in the last two visits. Only reason I am giving 3 stars is because I love Popeyes fried chicken more than any fried chicken. Spicy baby!!!

Love popeyes, hate this location. The drive thru girls are so demanding and probably hate their job so they take it on the customers. Came here for the Tuesday Specials(1 thigh and 1 leg). Got three, and a coleslaw(so crappy! Not seasoned well!!). Went to the window and one of the chick keeps forgetting my order and had me repeat it three times. Went home, ate the food and next day feeling like i had food poisioning. stomachache like crazy

I love how it is marketing themselves more with a Louisiana theme. The music and ambiance was very New Orleans. I’m sad that this place doesn’t have a drive through and the lines are usually long. Especially on certain days where they have their 1.99 meal special(I’m not positive it’s 1.99 but something like that). I’m a big fan of their sweet tea.

This location is the absolute worst! I gave it a few chances only because its so close to my house. They’ve messed up on my order so many times by either giving me an incomplete order or just have a ridiculous wait time. Today draws the line after finding hair in the chicken. absolutely disgusting! I will never return to this location and doubt to ever be a customer again after this experience

I’ve been here a few times and the food quality is hit or miss. I agree with everyone else that their customer service is terrible. These people obviously hate their job and aren’t afraid to bring their own personal baggage to work. I’ve had the manager give me dirty looks for trying to use a coupon. She seriously analyzed for like 30 seconds it in front of me as though I was trying to give her some fake coupon. If you can get past the workers with a chip on their shoulders then you *might* enjoy this place, assuming you get the food relatively fresh.

TERRIBLETERRIBLETERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE My family and I usually come here because we love Popeyes and they closed down the one closer to our house. This is about our 5th to 6th time going to this location and about 4 out of the 6 times they forgot a part of our order! We called today because we were tired of them forgetting items we ordered and spoke to MUNA. Let me tell you, this girl has the worst customer service and manners EVER! She asked for our ticket number to double check if they actually forgot our mashed potatoes and then she said«Well do you want to come back and get it then?» Obviously we were not about to drive back 20 minutes just to get mashed potatoes that should have already been in our bag. Then she says«You can come back and get your mashed potatoes with your receipt but we’re not going to give you anything else, we barely make any money!». FIRSTOFALL, Popeyes is a big corporation! You personally may not make a lot of money, but the company sure as hell does! Second of all, we aren’t trying to ask for freebees, a simply apology would suffice! We are simply letting you know so that next time you don’t mess up our damn order AGAIN. I don’t think she understands how disappointed I was when I have been craving Popeyes mashed potatoes and it wasn’t in the bag when I got home. Ain’t nobody got time to check the bag when you’re hungry and want to go home and eat it!

Not a bad Popeyes location! Especially because it had a drive-thru! Ordered 12 piece with 2 large sides and biscuits. I never had bad Popeyes fried chicken before and this place definitely made it good as well. Plus nice friendly service at the window.
