Note to corporate office: if I could give ZERO stars would be too much. There was a big piece of wax paper in my breakfast sandwich after eating half of it. I told the cashier and after a few minutes they tried to offer me a free pastry which is another wrong. I had to ask for a refund when one was not offered. I asked to speak to the manager and the cashier said she was busy. After a few minutes more the manager sent the cashier to apologize. What a coward you are that can’t handle responsibly. Need more training now!

I used to go to another Panera Bread closer to my house, but now I go to this one cause the other has disappointed me lately. This Panera Bread however, is really good. My orders are always right and the food tastes great and is not sloppily put together in the rapid orders. The only reason I did not give this one a full five star is because the last time I ordered to go it was not ready on time and I had to wait more then a couple minutes.

I was wanting a bowl of soup! Cream of broccoli! First off I was told baguette is the only side choice? Okay! Then the rewards card issue came up again! I seem to have 2 cards? I inquired if I could cancel the Waite person was annoyed from the start! I guess I was bothering her to take my order! I also ordered a pastry wanted it on a plate(WEDON’T THAT) So got my food(okay) Asked the food delivery person where I’m to heat it up(at least she offered) She says she can’t! When I went to move the pastry on the dish(it was yellow with some type of «grey» dust or something on the plate?) I did not notice this immediately since the pastry covered the supposed«scratch» on the plate. Their seemed be no one around the counter, their was one employee was eating at a table, I finally found a «staff» person and showed him my plate, his response was«oh» that’s was caused by the dishes that we put on the plate? Okay, but it showed the smuge had some type of dust since I showed him I was uncomfortable with this possible contamination? You read that people get«sick» all the time? The employee was argumentative, he thought that I just was not understanding his position! That just the way it was? Really? I said how about replacing the pastry and a new«clean» dish! I am not sure if he even replaced it! He brought a new plate with a pastry and was again trying to engage me to understand it was just the way it is? Again when does the customer have input? I had just finished my soup and he didn’t offer to clean off the table(when I sat down the table had crumbs on it it looked like it wasn’t cleaned) I was so hungry that I didn’t mention it to the server when they placed the food on the table. Back to Mr. Know it all and he has all the answers! He never offered to clean the table until much later, he just walked away! What attitude. He never inquired later when he finally asked if I wanted to take the dishes away??? I did heat the pastry, but was not happy and actually lost my appetite since I was not sure if it was even was replaced! When I went to find the microwave and at first couldn’t find it? The employee who was eating told me where it was(hidden under the counter) I get that no one who works their this is a «hot» button with the staff(it was as if they were either irritated that I was even asking to heat the pastry. It seems as if the employees have been reprimanded so the response comes off as rude or irritated. So I’m going to see if your organization will respond to see if I want to go there again? I just moved to the area and thought that how great that I can get your wonderful soup on a «cold» night! We’ll see!

By far one of the worst locations I have ever been to. I am normally a huge Panera fan but this location is terrible. 1. My orders are never right. I have to check them each time before I leave to make sure. I understand mistakes happen, but this has been an ongoing problem every time I come here. Also, when pointed out, the employees here seem more frustrated than anything. Instead of an «I’m sorry, I will fix that for you» I get some grumpy attitude. 2. Rapid Pick up — The assistant manager suggested I have them check my rapid pick up before I leave. Yea. .. .that’s not rapid then. I don;t think I need to check your work to make sure you didn’t make any mistakes. I don’t expect perfection, but I expect my order to be made correctly at least 50% of the time(and that’s pushing it, but I have had to lower my expectations for this location). 3. The employees are unfriendly. Rude and not helpful. Might want to go in there and teach some lessons on customer service.

Love Panera, but I won’t be coming to this one again. Staff was all short and in bad moods. They got my order wrong, bringing me a soup I didn’t ask for. Then when I said that’s not what I ordered they told me they were out. She offered me wild rice soup or French onion soup. I said wild rice. She comes back–«we’re out of rice» okay, fine, French onion soup then! And I got onion soup– no bread, no cheese. When I said«this isn’t French onion soup» all I got back was«well that’s what we have!» Nice customer service. Very underwhelmed.

I don’t typically like to review large chain restaurants, but Panera has never steered me wrong with its Delicious Paninis & Salads, Free Wifi and Optimal Study Ambience. The reason why I am writing today is because I was recently reminded of Panera and everything they have to offer. I came in on a Thursday for a study session and some lunch on one of my days off of work. I ordered the Chicken Cobb with Avocado Salad and it just blew me away. Bacon, Tomatoes, Gorgonzola cheese top off what is a perfect salad already. Great cuts of tender chicken along with avocado that is perfectly ripe, with no browning. It was extremely fresh and I was actually very impressed. Chain restaurants tend to be fairly inconsistent, but Panera, more often than not, satisfies with good food and an atmosphere that is perfect for those on a casual lunch outing or for those looking to just get some studying done. However, I do have to add a fairly big con and probably one of the biggest reasons why I don’t come to Panera more often. And that reason is the price. Very rarely will I ever feel in the mood to pay $ 12 for a salad. It’s just not right, no matter how delicious it is.

I went here for lunch today and I was a tad disappointed. The drink machine wasn’t working(not even water, you had to wait for them to find a pitcher — which they said someone would walk around to fill water cups but that never happened.) I feel that if the machine is not working, then the cashiers should be aware so if someone is going to pay $ 2.29 for a drink, but not receive it, they should be warned. The manager said to check back on the machine in a bit, I was dining for 45 minutes and the machine never got refilled. I wanted my money back but putting $ 2.29 back on my card was a hassle. So I didn’t bother. I ordered the tomato and mozzarella flatbread. It was tomato, barely there pesto spread and some arugula leaves. The mozzarella wasn’t even on it. Needless to say, I won’t be back to this location. I gave it 3 stars for the upbeat positive attitude from the workers.

Ordered a couple breakfast power sandwiches to go which were supposed to include egg. By the time we got home we opened them up only to realize there were no eggs in our sandwiches.

My Unilocal buddies know that I never Unilocal chains, and if I do, it’s always to give a specific shout out to an extremely terrible or wonderful experience. Luckily in this case, I’m sending a huge shout out to three of Panera’s employees ANDRE&JOSE&VALERIE!!! I placed a 7 person order, and they were so wonderful in assisting me. Andre specifically stuck out as an outstanding example of what great customer service represents, especially during the pressure of a busy lunch hour. I watched him continuously support his customers with patience and suggestions, and watched him be exceptional in a leadership role to his colleagues. Jose was the same. He was incredible in getting my order prepared behind the food counter and politely apologized for my wait. I had to write this note. Good people need recognition! Thank you Andre, Jose & Valerie, helluva hustle – and with a smile! ATTENTIONPOWERFULPANERACORPATBE! Give your team some kudos!!!

Why does this place think it’s ok to charge $ 16 for half sandwich, half salad??? First and last time eating here.

I haven’t been to this location for 6 months or so. I have to say I was totally disappointed. I use to come here all the time. They have a new menu and prices. I paid $ 7.49 for a ½ Med salad that had no ckn; it was so small, they didn’t even fill the bowl. The dressing side cup was only filled a 1⁄3 that I had to ask for more dressing. Trader Joe to go salads are bigger, sadly. I then paid $ 4.79 for a very watery, small, 12 oz, SB smoothie that looked like it was a water cup. I could of bought a bigger, thicker, more filling smoothie with a boost over at Jamba Juice/Juice it up. I did get free chips but I would of gladly exchanged that for more lettuce. I end up paying $ 13.53 for fast food that was not even remotely filling. The take 2 menu is no bargain. Lol! My friend had a good laugh while he ate his substantial Jersey Mike sub from next door, in front of me, that he paid $ 7.50 for. LOL! Even more Funny because my friend said I’d be hungry in an hour and I was. If your on a low calorie counting diet, you may like their ½ portions; if not opt for another lunch spot at a local restaurant for a full 3 item meal for the price with a better sit down feel.

Ordered their tomato mozzarella flatbread and it hardly had any cheese and was dripping grease. The Greek salad I ordered came out great though.

Amazing and friendly customer service. I had a Panera card to use but it would not work at this location. I had another card ready to pay, to which the cashier responded to not worry about it! I really appreciate the cashier for the gesture. Totally unexpected and delicious Fuji Apple avocado salad!

Normally I like Panara bread but this location is an exception. There was absolutely no care put into making my food. I ordered a half tuna sandwich and black bean soup. They put the most pathetic dolup of tuna dead smack in the middle of the sandwich. I mean 60% of the sandwich had no tuna. I asked about this and was told that is how they are told to make it. This not a complaint to all Panara bread locations. Just this one. That pathetic excuse for a sandwich was completely uncalled for.

The cashier, Thien, was not friendly. Unenthusiastic, I must say. And spoke in a tone that was so unwelcoming. If I’m gonna pay $ 10.78 for half a turkey/apple/cheddar panini sandwich that comes with a soup and apple as a side choice, I better get a plate that is squeaky clean and bacteria free. My spoon was clearly unwashed and felt greasy. Only giving two stars cause they have a plus one for my sympathy vote. Not going here for awhile…

I have gone to this location for years but recently management must have changed. They lost the passion for smiles and service. I stopped in today for lunch to go. Same thing with another Newby at the counter. Asian chicken salad is good, chicken sandwich«no onion». I got my sandwich with onion, salad w/o salad dressing… no fork, no napkins. OMG… really. So bummed since it wasn’t the first time. It was my last time.

I love this location! It’s close to my main office so I stop by frequently. The staff here is super friendly and efficient! This location is close to many offices and south coast plaza but even during lunch hour I’m always in and out. Also super accommodating! I ordered a regular iced green tea and had to wait a few mins. I think it was the manager, he saw me waiting and was super apologetic and gave me a large just cus I had to wait a little longer. So sweet!

Talk about inept. WTF has happened to my beloved Panera? Today’s date is May 3. I was informed Strawberry poppyseed chicken salads would be available the 1st of the month. Instead, I am met with no salad, with no definitive date when, downed computer systems not allowing for rewards redemptions in addition to not being able to order online/via app, incompetence at the point of sale(and these zitheads demand $ 15/hr???), no coffee pots(yes, none, not just empty), had to run my own food as it just sat there for minutes, inaccurate order(receipt clearly states olives and extra onions, which to these $ 15/hr champions means 2 olives and 3 singular rings). The only plus was that they didn’t charge me for extra chicken which Panera owed me from my recent visit to the Seal Beach store who failed to provide extra chicken but gladly charged me. Panera does not listen @ . i think I may need to find another chain who will provide quality food with service to match. Panera has definitely fallen from grace. Perhaps Corner Bakery or Chipotle after they’ve gone complete non GMO. Read the top of the receipt. Accuracy matters… the past 3,4 visits to Panera they’ve fouled up my order… we’ll make it right.
