Mariscos El Camaron Borracho

So, this truck is by my house and decided to finally try it. Big mistake I ordered the shrimp tacos and although they look nice and good that’s not the case. I took a bite and did not taste no shrimp so I took another still nothing. I opened up the taco to find 4 little shrimp and when I say little I mean they took the shrimp from the cup o’ noodles and put it in the tacos… I gave it one star because there fries were actually good. Never again will I get food from here. Too pricey for the quality of the tacos they sale you.

Best Cachanilla Tacos in OC!.. the ceviche is really fresh and the camarones borrachos are delicious. I’am very satisfied with the food so far. the only thing I dont like is that they dont follow their schedule there’s days that they supposed to be open and we get there and oh surprise! they left early it has happend many times that cost them a star from me. I realky hope they fix this issue…

I always order those to items. If you are at work and cant’ call to make an order so you can pick up during lunch, just text them! During cuaresma the place is insane. long lines. Customer service is ok, can improve on that (that’s the reason I have 4 stars instead of 5).

I asked the guy and he recommended the camerón burrito plate. This food truck will not disappoint!

Bought food for my family here. ordered 6 orders of tacos wich is 4 per order. diferent varieties… very very dissapointed. not only did i pay 65 bucks but i was also short 6 tacos… the shrimp tacos had like 4 cup noodle minature shrimp mixed in with bunch of cabage. worse part was we all got food poisoning. health department defenetly needs to inspect here. as i waited for my order random hungover kids were messing around going inside the truck grabbing food and drinks. never coming back… id rather eat tacos de perro than this garbage.

Good food i been there a few times and had the ceviche tostada and the shrimp tacos, I enjoyed the fries with the cream sauce .make sure you have time to wait. It took 25 minutes just to get my food.

Stopped by on a Tuesday for dinner. The fish tacos were only $ 1 and were delicious. I also had a tostada de ceviche de camaron. It was good, but I’ve had better. My husband had one fish taco and one shrimp taco that was equally delicious. I highly recommend the tacos. Looking forward to trying other menu items.

This place has good fish tacos but for some reason they keep getting smaller and smaller every time I order food from here.

I’ve been here five times now, and the service is always friendly, fast and above and beyond expectation. I loved everything on the menu I’ve tried, filetitos, papas borrachas, taco chachanilla, and of course taco Tuesday fish tacos. They have some pretty hard to find salsas sometimes, and always extra hot. My four year old likes the food, and my husband has me running over there all the time for his seafood fix. Delicious! Thanks!

Fish and shrimp tacos are hands down good.
Now my main complaint is the service! It seems that they have favoritism. I have noticed that when I order food, I wait like every body else then when a friend pops by, drinks are offered gets to cut inline, gets their food within minutes and I mean minutes.
Maybe it is a phone order but I highly doubt that cuz I have done phone orders and I still have to wait!
Also some of the people that take orders need to be replaced! They are morons. She doesn’t know the difference from 4 fish tacos from 9 shrimp tacos! sMH
Other than that I highly recommend the chinchilla tacos (cachanilla tacos), fish burritos! Those French fries with that awesome sauce (papas borrachas), aguachiles, and there delicious dollar Fish tacos on Tuesday!
Ps. Every Time I try to order tacos dorados de camaron they never have it. Why is that? I really want to try them.
I also look forward to trying there mixta Frita !

Food was fantastic dude I have never have tried anything like it great seafood for it being a food truck I couldn’t believe the food came from a food truck so went down and checked them out for myself and man I gotta tell u I ordered almost everything on the menu I can’t wait to go back great service hands down the best food truck ever

Try it and you’ll go back for more, I highly recommend it, it’s by Far the BEST! food truck I’ve come across in all Santa Ana most delicious tasting seafood, love them cachanilla tacos so satisfying & fulfilling to all my tastebuds and them papas borachas are to die for there a must have for my Fat Ass every single time I’m there… Best part for me is that there just around the corner of my house I can literally walk to them.

This truck was so worth the drive, and the prices were so good! Very fresh and clean. The seafood is very authentic. Salsas are fresh and the tortillas… well just imagine the homemade ones, only not so fluffy. The flavors here are great.

I think their shrimp ($ 3) tacos on flour tortilla are better than their fish tacos. Overall, everything was fresh, inexpensive and delicious especially for a food cart.

Came to this place by a friend who raved about this place, fresh mariscos and most of all tasty, will come back!

This place is not exactly a truck, it’s more of a food trailer and some of the tastiest food I have ever eaten comes out of it — go get some!
I have been here a dozen times since I learned of it & I gotta say, it may be the absolute best shrimp (grilled) tacos (Tacos Canchanilla) I have EVER eaten! They are excellent and amazingly flavorful. I also love their fish tacos (batter-​fried) shrimp cocktails (classic) and ceviche too! Bottled and canned sodas and water.
Tip: Consider a chair if you are gonna eat there — standing room & a bar but no seating.
P. S. Please don’t go telling everybody … you know because then this place will get crazy busy! Duces

After reading Gustavos review on OCWEEKLY​.COM I decided to stop by and give the tacos cachanillas a try. No line so that was a plus! Cash only ?! Booo! Ok luckily I had 9 dollars on me, and went for the Shrimp and Fish taco one each. They have salsa culichi and this bomb habanero salsa on the counter for your pouring pleasure.
My tacos come up and they look pretty and smell great. Did a little drizzle of the habanero sauce and salsa culichi took a bite of tge shrimp and it was more cabbage than anything, bite 2 same and finally at bite 3 I got a shrimp… sort of.
I finally opened the taco up to see 5 little cup of noodle shrimps cowering under all the sauce and cabbage!
Onto the fish… same except the fish was heavily battered and not a light tempura batter but more of a cornmeal or breadcrumb batter. Too heavy in my opinion.

LUNCH TRUCK EXTRODANAIR AND BEYOND… I came here by chance. A Friend needed a ride home early on a Sunday morning after he was drinking all night and had a crazy hangover and nothing is better for hangovers than spicy seafood… Unimpressed by the looks of the place and the location i didn’t order anything… My friend had already ordered me food and holy CRUD was I surprised… He only got me one taco CACHANILLA style so i went back to try something else on the menu… i had some CAMARONES AGUA CHILE (SHRIMP IN CHILE WATER) … Oh man i was so happy… but My brain and taste buds were not satisfied… so i ordered one of my favorite mexican dishes… CAMARONES A LA DIABLA (DEVIL STYLE SHRIIMP)… YUP number 1 for sure item for me on the menu… I found myself in a routine i unconsciously built… I CAME HERE EVERY SUNDAY AT 10 AM until i had every item on the menu… my taste buds are not satisfied and haven’t been here for about a month… but still So BOMB… The wall infront of the truck is a testimonial left by hundreds of shoes of people that eat here… A large wall with a dark SMUDGY line created from the bottoms of shoes about 2 feet up from the floor… There are very few seats but the wall is where you want to eat… lean back, put on foot up on the wall, and enjoy the food like real street food should be enjoyed… on the STREET
EVERY ITEM on this Truck is awesome… Next time im here i will take a picture of the wall or if you do come here take a picture of the tanned smudgy wall…

Me encantan los tacos (Cachanillas, gobernador, eskuadron, y pescado) Las tostadas de pescado, deliciosas! Los aguachiles me encantaron, bien preparados, spicy but good. Great service! Inexpensive y todo muy sabroso.

I would have never expected a taco truck to have such great seafood. Even better was that taco Tuesday means $ 1 fish tacos.
