One of those hole in a wall that you end up in because you’re hungry and too lazy to Unilocal anything. The place I a not bad and their carne adds fries was pretty good. Would eat here again if I needed. Good price, easy parking, and service wasn’t bad.

I drive everywhere for work. I have always likes the moms and pops burger joint. But not all are good. This place was real good. I have came 2 days in a roll now. I only had the burgers but Damm the are real good and fresh. The patty is real good and the burger is pretty big and at a decent price.

Came here yesterday afternoon an ordered the California Burger. The burger itself was good. It didn’t taste greasy the only thing that would of made the burger even better in my opinion would of been like some«secret sauce» or some spread. Other than that everything was good. Nice little place to grab a quick bite.

I absolutely love it here. The staff is awesome and the food is so good. They also give a great meal size for the price. If you have a family of 4… the family 4 pack is a great deal for you. My grandparents love their fish sandwiches and chicken sandwiches. I love their onion rings also :) I tell all of my friends/coworkers and family to go here.

Excellent service with a smile — got my order quickly and perfectly. What a delicious cheeseburger! And I definitely enjoy the flavor they add to their fries. Like The Terminator, «I’ll be back!»

I have been going to this place for years. I understand why people say it was different back then when the other owner ran it. The burger tasted different after but I still like it now. I am in love with the breakfast burritos they are my favorite item to get. Burgers and fries are good too. The best part is the fries the seasoning its just perfect. I have never had bad experience and will keep coming back

Great burger joint. Never had a bad experience, and we go here all the time. Great portions, yummy burgers, salads and burritos. We get their breakfast burritos at least once a week.

Lucky Guys Burgers was once owned/managed by a guy named Frank. It was a family business and there was a sense of respect for both the customer AND the food whom I had the pleasure of meeting the family of and even becoming friends with them. That all changed when Frank and his family were forced out by the landlord and now operator/owner of the business. That drama aside I ventured in on a slow day praying that somehow Frank’s methodology and standards were retained but to my grim dismay they WEREN’T. The fries were soggy. The burger was oversalted and peppered with chorizo seasoning*. The Chicken salad was dry with wilted and even had ROTTEN lettuce. The pungent ranch dressing was sour like some strange off brand attempt to duplicate the former owner’s work. The Chicken on the chicken salad was not«cut» correctly and charred/dried to the point of being called«Jerky». The staff knew I was going to be critical when I asked«Where’s Frank?» and they just ignored the question. When I complained about the food the manager or owner or whoever the guy was shooed the cashier away and told me «We’ve been here for DECADES and never got complaints like this!» I laughed and set the food, not even finished, on the counter beside the register and said«I asked for NOSEASONING on the burger because I am ALLERGIC to celery salt and ALL the stuff that’s in Chorizo. I am violently allergic! The former owner who RANTHISCOMPANYFORYEARS and ALL of his staff KNEW this. Now I’m going to have HORRIBLE stomach problems for the next 3 days. YOURFOODISGOINGTOMAKEMEVOMITANDHAVEDIARRHEABECAUSEYOURSTAFFDIDN’T LISTENTOMYORDERAND I EVENSAID „I’m DANGEROUSLY allergic!“ when I ordered! You are NOT Frank the Lucky Guy. You’re a FRAUD and dangerous.» the squat man narrowed his eyes at me and said«Get out. If you don’t I will call the police. No one cares about you. Leave!» so I left but not before I carried the food out and gave the burger I couldn’t eat to the bum that was hanging out outside and said«You can use the bathroom all you want, man.» That was 2 weeks ago today. I can still taste that burger with the stale spices and rancid greens they had put on a plate. Maybe they were planning on making me sick when I asked about Frank. Maybe they’re just horrible at food. I know one thing though: These people are not getting a single PENNY from me ever again. I wish the old owner was back but after this gut-twisting horror their family’s dream and legacy I’d warn them of the nightmare that it’s become. AVOIDTHISPLACEATALLCOST! Prompt service, friendly staff, and good food. Mom and pop burger joints seem the same but this place is different. The minute you walk in you are greeted by friendly employees rarely seen outside of Chic-fil-a or In N Out. The burgers are charbroiled so they have that awesome taste you expect when cooking over an open flame. The place is under new ownership and it shows pride is taken. This is a popular place for the breakfast item which are next on my to do list. The only knock is the odd drive thru which has a passenger side window. Other than that this is a good option if you are craving a burger and fries.

WORST restaurant experience EVER!!! My husband and I came by for breakfast, he ordered a chorizo burrito and I ordered a chicken one. So ¾ into his food, I see my husband drop the burrito suddenly. OMG! There it was, a huge black hair in his burrito! DISGUSTING!!! I quickly took it away, walked over to the cashier and asked for the manager. A young guy then turned around and asked how he could help me, I explained what had happened and showed him the huge hair in the burrito. He just stood there unapologetic looking at me clueless as the entire staff dropped everything hey were doing and did the same.(This is when I suddenly realized how unsanitary this place actually is, no one was even wearing a hair net!!) I asked if he really was the manager and he then responded with an attitude that he was the OWNER! I waited for at least an apology, NOTHING. I then said we just want our money back since we are not comfortable eating your food after this incident. His response was«I will only give you back what you paid for this burrito. THISHAPPENSEVERYWHEREALLTHETIME!» He went into the register and dropped the money on the counter and said absolutely nothing else to me. OUTRAGEOUS! Not only did the«owner» refuse to apologize he actually said it’s common/normal to get your food with hair. Avoid this place at all cost unless you want some hair(on the house) with your food!

The lucky guy is me! this place is good! my whole family eats here. The owner is cool older dude. they are fast and the food is good. For avocado lovers I recommend the California Burger. Avo, bacon, cheese and patty and they are not cheap with the avocado. it’s sliced and covers the whole burger. I’ve been to other places where they give you just 2 slices of avocado. hot here!

Been coming here for over 10yrs! One of the best small burger joints. I would give it 5 stars if the place was a bit bigger, it gets pretty busy and the seating area gets quite crowded and noisy. Great food though!

Just another mom & pop burger joint but the burgers and fries are decent and portions are huge. Also this place has been around forever, recently taken over by the original owner. I have not tried the carne asada or anything else here but the service is excellent and this place is slightly better than your average local burger joint.

I was stuck across the street getting exhaust work done at Pomeroy’s and it was 12noon… so I decided to try this place. So glad I did. I wasn’t expecting much… although the place is clean and very presentable and even the neighborhood is fairly good, I don’t usually have a lot of luck with these independent fast food places in Orange County. Customer service was flat but prompt. Ordering went smoothly, food came out in about 5 minutes. I had a double cheeseburger combo with fries and a drink for about $ 9. The burger was very, very good… almost excellent. Fresh sliced tomato was a nice touch. I would have liked the burger not so well-done, but that’s a preference. Otherwise that was very tasty. The fries… excellent. Hot and crisp from the fryer with some seasoned salt added, they were fantastic. And there were a lot of them. The Coke seemed a little too sweet. Strange. There were a lot of people in this little place for lunch on a Monday, which I understand. I will go back if in the area.
