Parking is tight, especially since most park how ever they want and the staff doesn’t say anything. The entrance is a bit confusing and not clearly marked. Other than that they have lots of bins to separate your recycling in and they are fairly quick.

Global Metal Recycling is a great place to take your recyclables. They take all kinds of metal. They also take cans and plastic bottles. The prices are great. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. If you have any questions they are happy to answer. You can call ahead of time to get their up to date prices. If you have anything you want to recycle I would go to this place.

Ok I’m not the kind of person to give negative reviews without warrant, but if you want to get paid top dollar for your metal recycling this is not the place to go. We recycled over 8 tons of steel and tin with these guys over a 3 day period. They were kind enough to provide us with a «40 yard bin» that was actually 25 yards the first day. We filled that up before the day was over. They picked it up and couldn’t provide another bin. Ok we have our own trucks so it wasn’t a disaster. We ordered another bin asap. Well the bin showed up just as our last truck was leaving with the last load of metal. Ooops forgot to call it off, shouldn’t be a big deal as the yard it came from was less than 5 minutes from our jobsite. Well I went down to the yard to settle up and the manager tells me they need to charge us $ 100! Really, for a 5 minute detour? Then he gives me our receipt and he claims we had an entire load of tin($ 140 a ton vs $ 250 a ton) so now he’s trying to get us for over $ 200! I said we couldn’t put a ton(2000 lbs) of tin in a 16 yard bin and he say the load is lying right where my truck dropped it. I go to look and there are all these huge pices of steel(too heavy for one person to lift, and these super light weight sheets of tin. I said ok, I see there is some tin, why don’t you pay us steel for half and tin for half. Which was a joke since it was 85% steel by weight, but I needed to get back to the job at hand. Ephram the so called manager says only if I wait while they sort out the whole pile and weigh it! I said«that steel thats there is super heavy, I bet you can’t even lift those pieces». Ephram says«I am super strong, I can lift it, thats not my job». I was flabbergasted! What an elitist thing to say. Why didnt they weigh the steel vs the tin in the load before while it sat there for hours? Point is he knew I didnt have an extra hour to sit there while he dragged his feet. Sooooo, point is don’t trust them. They also pay 25% less than other places like Star metals. Hope I can save another personn some head aches and $!
