If I had the option for zero stars, this place would get it! I think all this positive reviews are from people that never had pizza before. I order the combination pizza and pepperoni only, it was horrible the pizza wasn’t cook properly, very chewy n gross! The sauce and toppings were disgusting, And they tried to over charge me by mistake. Never again will I order!

Cash only But their torpedoes are bomb This place has been here for some time now. It is a local hole in the wall. The inside is cleaner than how you would expect it to look because of the other businesses around it. The staff is always super friendly. Their chorizo pizza is amazing!!! If you like Mexican and Mexican style Italian then this place is for you I would recommend trying the Cubano torpedo

Love this family owned business. Everything on the menu sounds delicious. I always get a torpedo but will try the fettuccine Alfredo soon

I love their spaghetti dinner. When I just don’t feel like cooking, I just place an order. Very friendly staff and good food.

Excellent Calzone! I had the Giovanni’s filled with cheese, onions, ham, pepperoni and jalapeños. I ordered a small and could only eat half. The crust was light and tender, baked perfectly. I will definitely be coming back.

First time. Ordered a small asada torpedo. My only regret is not making it large. Really good! Cash only. 7⁄11 next door to get cash back if needed. Closes at 9.

Tried this for the first time today. Had a pepperoni pizza. It was ok but a little too greasy and not that great.

I ordered from here because of the medium to high Unilocal reviews, but I will never again. we ordered a combination pizza for delivery on a Thursday night. after an hour, the delivery guy called and said he could not find our location. after giving him directions, cross streets and descriptions of our home, he called back 15 minutes later and said that he was«sorry» that he could not find us and would not be coming with the pizza. after never receiving our pizza, I called the restaurant and asked about the problem. a woman answered and said she was«sorry» and that we could come to the restaurant and pick it up from them, not even offering a discount. very poor customer service and I would not recommend ordering delivery from here.

First off– the servings are HUGE. You will not be disappointed. We saw photos here but we were non believers. The place is family owned, and it’s a little hole in the wall. There’s enough seating for a medium sized group, and they have a couple tables outside too, next to the door. We both got calzones, I got buffalo chicken and my boyfriend got«giovannis»(pepperoni, ham, onion, jalepeno). I got the small size and it was bigger than my forearm. It was out in reasonable time frame for the small place. Drinks were bottled, and they had packaged ice creams as well. The owner brought us out orders, making sure we were well taken care of. He checked up on us from over the counter(we were sitting at the closest table) and was busy at work but still made time for us and the other customers. My calzone was flavorful and just spicy enough, and my boyfriends was packed with meat. We’re looking forward to coming back for the lasagna and the spaghetti. :) call in your order ahead of time if you don’t want to wait!

I had the carne asada torpedo. The meat was delicious! The ingredients were fresh, the bread was perfect and the owner might be the nicest guy you could run into all day. This place is worth the stop!

EW! This place is super gross. I came in here for some spaghetti with marinara sauce, the most basic thing a person can prepare, and it wasn’t good. First, I drove to the lot & I should have known that this was gonna be bad just by looking at it. It was in a lot with trashy liquor stores around it. The inside of this place was real dirty. I ordered my food and was about to give card, but the guy stopped me and said, «Can’t you read the sign? Cash only.» Yeah, I overlooked the sign, but even so, that was pretty rude. It took about 30 minutes to prepare the spaghetti and I got it to go. When I finally took a bite, I wanted to throw up. The cheese was disgusting. I don’t know how long he has had that cheese sitting around in the back of his restaurant. I moved it aside and ate the spaghetti. NO flavor. There was hardly any sauce in it too. None of it tasted good at all. NEVER coming back here. *Area: dirty *Service: terrible *Food: disgusting

My family has ordered from here since I can remember, and never have I ever been let down from anything I order. Pros: –torpedo heaven. Never have I had a better torpedo in all of Orange County than here. If it is your first time going here, this is a must! –the pizza is definitely great as well. –the meal plans are a great deal. Make sure to get one of these in order to get the most bang for your buck Cons: –dining in isn’t a great idea. Definitely more of a delivery kind of place All in all, one of my favorite mom and pop restaurants I have tried. A definite must

My order: 1 lg. Pizza, carne asada torta, small order of garlic bread, chicken salad, 1 slice of tiramisu and 1 slice of cheesecake. The pizza and garlic bread were the BEST part! The pizza was not greasy, it was light, bread was a lil crunchy which I loved and full of flavor. The garlic bread was nice, toasty, lots of flavor and had cheese melted on it. YUMMM! The chicken salad was ok, nothing special but not bad either. The torta was just sad! The meat was dry, the thing had lettuce and onion, no tomato, no cilantro, no beans, no cheese… NOFLAVOR! The tiramisu and cheesecake were frozen stiff! They both had freezer burn and ice crystals stuck to them! I couldn’t even slice into it with my fork! Will be back for pizza but nothing else.

Good place. Best mom and pop Italian shop close to my house and it delivers 15 dollars and up. I ordered a Hawaiine and jalapeños calzone. Cheesy goodness and the ham and pineapple were so yummy with that spice of jalapeños yum! Go check it out,

When they say 20 minutes. They really mean 20 minutes so take your time. This place is really a solid 3 stars but I love mom and pop places and this one is run by a real Mexican pop. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs but the meatballs are sliced so it should really be called meat slices. Overall, this place was a quick fix for my spaghetti craving. The total was $ 8.99 with tax, which I thought was pretty expensive for just that but it came with a side salad and a loaf of garlic bread. It wasn’t amazing. Very Very basic flavors. It really tasted like something my mom could whip up in you guessed it 20 minutes but the portions are really big and the location is right by our new warehouse so I shall be back. The location is really jinky .next to a cambio place so you know you’re in santana. Most of my reviews are bias because I put into consideration the people who own the place too. I really want to this place to thrive but if you’re looking for my favorite pasta spot like Mama D’s, it’s not this place. Enjoy!(pictures included) PS. I think the other guys here ordered the torpedo and they said it was okay too. LIke i said… really a 3 star joint: P

Giovanni’s is a small place and I wouldn’t recommend you plan on dining in since they have like 4 tables at most. Either call in your order and have it delivered or drive over and pick it up. Today I ordered a medium calzone since I guess I must have been feeling extra hungry at lunch. Well it turns out their medium size was more than I could eat. I ate 1⁄3 of it and I know I was full even before I ate that much but it was so darn tasty I had to keep eating, lol. The dough was amazing, great taste and texture. The inside of was just as good too. I ordered a Hawaiian, nothing fancy but I really enjoyed it. The blend of the sauce and cheese made for a gooey mess but that’s what napkins are for.

Hands down the best torpedoes(subs) around town. I normally get the rocko style. One ting to keep in mind its a cash only stop and yes they do service pizza’s but there too, but the torpedoes are the money choice. Oh yea one more thing all the subs are warm up in a pizza gas oven which make them kick as@. Best thing to do is just go and order the first time in person also they mostly speak Spanish.
