I am currently sitting here at this Denny’s and the service is horrible. We waited 20 minutes for drinks. They have about 30 people waiting to be seated. They are extremely under staffed. I don’t see a manager in sight at all. Seems very unorganized and the restaurant isn’t maintained very well. This Denny’s should be closed down. Not one positive to this whole experience. Update I just left they took way to long!!!

Terrible service!!! Never coming back. Night manager is clueless and does not know how to lead his team and in general how to deal with customers. Their cash register was not working and they had us wait more than an hour at midnight to charge our cards instead of understanding it was their fault. Owner had the courage to say it was our fault. Ridiculous, I should had left. **update:following day found out he double charged me and my friend!

Worst service ever!!! Every time I call to place an order I have to keep on calling back to I get an answer. Then when I get there to pick my order no one seems to be working in the front. The reason i call to place in order is so that i dont have to wait forever for my food cuz im on my lunchbreak. Im not sure if everyone’s in the back messing around or what cuz every time I go here it’s not busy. I do enjoy the food just not the service. Please take care of this issue ASAP.

Seeing this place have so many poor reviews, I had to take the time to write. My husband, stepdaughter and I were extremely tired after a long day of walking and sightseeing in LA. After fighting LA traffic, most eating places in the area around our hotel weren’t open so we all agreed to a late night Denny’s run. For our meals, we all chose the build-your-own-burger. We each got very different meals though. I love that as a vegetarian I can order a veggie burger patty with a dry(no fake butter/grease on it) wheat bun) and add my chosen toppings of lettuce and pickle. For my side I usually get steamed broccoli. Tonight I chose hash browns(210 calories). I was starving but didn’t want fries which were listed at 550 calories. I can personally attest that mine was delicious. My husband got the cheeseburger and seasoned fries. My stepdaughter got a bacon Swiss with avocado burger and fries. They both are all of theirs and said they liked it. I would give this place a good rating for the food being really good. The restroom wasn’t super clean(paper on the floor and our booth had a broken spring under the seat). The service was a tad slow. If half stars were possible, I would have given this Denny’s 3−½. I didn’t want to mark them down to 3 though.

I’ve been coming here for five years, my little girl is hooked on their spaghetti, we use to come about 3 times a week, the service USE to be awesome, this was the place where everybody knew our name, including the shift managers, this seems to be a training spot now, they hire people to train here, then once you get to know a good waiter or waitress’s they get transferred to a different location and here comes the new one and it’s what makes the service bad, not their fault though because they have to be trained, now it’s different here you have to wait over 30 minutes for them to come check on you to see if you need a refill or if you need anything else every time we come there are many different faces.

This location is clean and the staff was friendly. Our food was fresh and warm. The place is generally clean. Great prices for the Denny favorites that we are familiar with. I have no complaints. Definitely coming back.

I give them 5 stars just because of Raul, one of their waiters. Good luck Raul, peace;)

Ugh so we came here to eat br heading home to SD. Big mistake. First of all ive been craving good mozzarella sticks all weekend bc the ones Mcdonalds serves are disgusting. Of course they ran out of them. That was the first disappointment. 2nd was we clearly ordered REGULAR coke and a DIET mello yellow peach flavored. I have pku and I am not allowed to have anything containing nutrasweet. And my husband is a diabetic. 3rd. They brought pur food I asked for easy lettuce and its piled on my blt. Then I asked for tabasco sauce, an mayo. This fool brings out ranch and then I noticed the the hush puppies we asked for and were on the tray when our food got here WEREGIVENTOANOTHERTABLE!!! WTF! Then he forgot the tabasco sauce and had the nerve to ask me do I want a freaking salad instead of the mozzarella sticks bc they were out. What exactly makes person think when someone orders something friend that theyd rather pay for a salad in place of that. Insult much!!! We specifically came here for the mozzarella sticks! I told him I’m not paying for a salad that I can make at home. DOESANYBODYSPEAKENGLISHINTHISPLACE??? I mean come on I live in san diego but this is just ridiculous. Alfredo has the be the worst server. Plus we got sat at a half made table when there were 6 other full boths open. I honestly feel this area is highly racist against blacks and Interracial couples. Never patronizing this place again.

Worst experience at Denny’s so far. They had a long wait when there were clearly a lot of tables open. Then they seat us and we order and the food was horrible. The portions were a lot smaller than usual. The ham and bacon were burned and tastes of ash, and they weren’t fully cooked either. The pancakes were cold, the hashbrowns might as well have been cut up potatoes because they weren’t even brown. They looks like boiled and cut potatoes. They weren’t cooked all the way either. Someone else ordered their sriracha burger and it had a strong smell which made them lose their appetite. The wait for the food was also long. Also! Occasionally I’d get the smell of a really fowl odor and I realized we were on the side of the restaurant where the restrooms were but we weren’t even seated that close to the restrooms so idk how the stench was so strong. It was not pleasant. I definitely won’t be coming back to this Denny’s again.

So, I didn’t get a chance to eat breakfast today and by lunch time my stomach was screaming at me. I was craving turkey bacon so I thought I would come here since it’s close by my job. Great food. Good service. Clean and fast. The waiter had a lot of tables but was holding it down quite well. Would come back again.

Took forever to seat us. Brought small cups of water with little bits floating in it. Took about 15 minutes to take our order even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. Waitress only came by once for our table and never offered a refill. Food was whatever. Not as good as other denny’s but not bad, but the service was just horrible. Would not recommend.

Went there last night. My flatware was dirty. It had green salad pasted from bad dishwasher. The fork had a dark piece of who-knows-what stuck between teeth. Showed the host and apologized and gave me a new set. Ordered the breakfast«red whit and blue» when I received my food, the plate was dirty too. It had green smudge food. I had it! This place needs a new manager to mange staff and workers in kitchen. The manager was pretty dirty herself. Her blouse was stained with grease stains, so unprofessional and what a run down service this place is doing. I should have gone home to eat!

This location always seems to be understaffed so waiting to be seated or to pay up front is always a drag. Luckily the servers they do have are always pleasant and never rude.

Pretty good. Try their lava cake, it’s ok. But their brownie a la mode is truly amazing. It’s an overstatement to say I was the first person in the history of this dennys to try their lava cake a day before release. If this were to happen with the iPhone, Apple would have all their heads. But since it didn’t, it’s ok. Come here at night because nowhere else is open. Out of the 44 star rating system. 35 stars means the great, 11 means it is not so good, 2 equals really good and 1 is horrible. I give this dennys, 15 ½ stars.

I had never been to this Denny’s before but we had a great experience. We went for my fiancé’s birthday so he could get a free grand slam. Even though it was a Sunday morning around 8 am, it wasn’t crowded at all! The servers were all very nice and attentive. The food wasn’t fabulous but it’s exactly what I expect from a Denny’s – cheap American diner food. Don’t come here expecting a 5 star omelette. The best part was that this Denny’s went above and beyond. At the end of our meal about six people came to our table to sing happy birthday and bring my fiancé ice cream! I’ve have been to other Denny’s several times for birthdays and never has this happened before! It was a wonderful end to our experience. We will definitely be back to this Denny’s again!

Don’t bother. Didn’t get the eggs the way we wanted. Waiting forever on drinks… They constantly run out of items. They don’t carry the plastic sipper cups. I got no refils. When I asked for a second drink, it came 10 min later while I was standing to pay with another cashier. I left 50 percent of my plate because I had nothing to water it down with. She was more concerned with talking than serving customers. I left half of my plate and didn’t even bother to bring it home. I tip generously and I ended up tipping $ 00.00 I was embarrassed to do so but I was more embarrassed for them on the service they gave. On my way out she asked me to answer their servey… well looks I went beyond that. I keep forgetting to travel further to a different dennys. Unfortunatly this one is only blocks from my home. Good night and good luck.

When walking in there was no host. We stood there for 5 minutes with no acknowledgment from anyone. When they bring our drinks the cups were dirty! When I looked around it seemed like there was only 2 employees working. We walked out upset n when one of the employees saw we were walking out he yelled your food is ready… But we still left! Never coming back here!!!

This place has the worse employees I have ever seen at any dinner. The majority of them don’t even try to look as if they care about you or your experience. I came here with my mother to talk as I don’t get to see her often. She ordered the grilled cheese with tomatoes and hash browns, and I orded the quessadilla with a side of has browns and eggs. It took the waitress about 45 minutes to bring us our food and there was only one other customber in the whole restaurant. This happens every time I come here but as it is my mothers go to dennys and we come here to talk. I often over look the time it takes them to bring us food because we come here more for quality time then for the actual food. The food can be mediocre and I would be fine with it. However the food here was horrible! The only way it could have been worse is if it came with hair or mold on the food. My hash browns were very white with specks of light brown off to one side. My tortilla had no crunch to it, or even a light golden color to it. They left my food on the grill long enough to heat it up and serve it to me. I swear that I have prepared ramen bowls with more care then they prepared my meal. My moms meal had a rancid tomatoes and a piece of lettuce in her hashbrowns. Neither of us ordered anything with lettuce on it so how did it get there? My theory they pulled the tomatoes out of a different dish like somebody else’s left over sandwhich which did have lettuce. And they seem to play favorites with their customers. I wouldn’t advise ever eating here. I have been coming here with my mother many times over the years and they were never that good and I figured that it was a new location I will give them time to get things together but I doubt that that will ever happen. They are far to comfortable doing as little as possible to get their paycheck. The waitress did seem like she cared more about us then the managers do. They have trained their servers to give you as little as possible with a smile and save money rather then teach them how to be hospital and gain lifeling or loyal returning customers. An example would be how at most dennys when you order a hot tea it comes with mini tea kettle full of hot water, a cup full of hot water, two tea bags(incase you want more then one cup) and a small plate that has two sealed plastic honey containers,(similar to what the jelly comes in) sugar, two creams, and a sliced lemon wedge. Here all they give you is two plastic containers of honey, the teabag, and the cup with some hot water in it. And they don’t ask if toy want anything else. Seems like a great place to work if you’re lazy but a terrible place to eat of you have ever eaten at a decently run restaurant. Good luck to those who choose to eat here.
