Del Taco

Rude drive through operator. Couldn’t hear me but when I repeated he seemed upset with me. I have a normal voice and there was no noise in the area. Then when I asked for hot sauce the bagger didn’t even acknowledge me and just handed me my order.
Then the fries — the best part — were soggy. So bummed!

The girl working the window on the afternoon shift today ¹⁰⁄₃ is rude. I gave her my order but she was too busy laughing about something to understand me. So she asked again what I said and I told her. She repeats it wrong and I tell her again. She repeats it back right and I say yes that’s correct. Her reply. That’s what I said the first time, by then I was done and just drove through.

Great Del Taco! They even have the hot sauce out on the tables! Super good. Too my canadian hubby here and he fell inlove. He couldn’t believe the 3 for $ 1 taco Tuesdays. My favorite are the curly fries, macho nachos, cherry coke, and mini burritos. Well they use to have mini burritos. But nothing beats Barstow! :)

This is absolutely the best del taco around here. Any Time you go make sure you go at night. Derrick is the best employee there who will absolutely make you laugh and help you out with anything you need. We ordered 100 tacos and he got them out right away. Always my late night choice.

I like this Del Taco for Tuesdays and Thursdays, always make my order correct and comes out quick. Seems like every table I sit at doesn’t have the Del Scorcher salsa on it. Oh well, I just grab some after I pick up my food. Friendly staff and clean dining room. I’ll be back again.

Awesome del taco location. nacho fries are the bomb ! They don’t have these in nor cal as much. And that guy andrew has it ! Funniest employee ever.

Ahhhh, Del Taco, my guilty pleasure at 1 or 2:00 am in the morning after a night of drinking, dancing, and… well, more drinking. I’ve noticed over the years that each Del Taco location is just a little different, a reflection of the ownership and management there. They must be doing something right here.
I come to this location about twice a month and I’ve always had quick, efficient service that the food has always been as good as Del Taco food can be. They’ve never messed up my order, whether drive-​through or ordering inside. The people working behind the counter have always been semi-​friendly to very friendly and courteous.
I give the staff here mad props for taking care of my late night munchie cravings (dancing does that to a person).
Conveniently located in the Stater Bros. strip mall you can access this bad boy from either Tustin Avenue or Santa Clara.
I stick with my favorites here: the Spicy Chicken Burrito, their half-​pound green burrito from the dollar menu, their Spicy Jack Quesadilla, or when I’m feeling really ambitious I’ll tackle their Macho Nachos and ask for extra jalapenos and chilli on the side.

It’s Del Taco. This one has been remodeled and upgraded so it makes the dining experience better. My kids like to eat here after school sometimes. Prices are good and the staff is always friendly. Not usually too crowded either.

Late night dinner!

I love Del Taco, but this location seems to be sub-​par when compared to other locations. I ordered an egg and steak burrito for breakfast and the eggs had a rotten taste to them. I would have asked for a replacement but I had gone through the drive thru on my way to work and ate my meal at my office.

I had a very good experience at del taco both the food and the service.
Their restrooms are one of the cleanest I’ve seen compared to other fast food places.
So far I like the Chicken Soft taco, fish taco, bacon double del and the chili fries.

This location is fairly run down and dirty sometimes. That being said, I love Del Taco food. It’s not good for you, it’s not healthy, but it’s delicious! I get a «spicy jack chicken quesadilla» and 3 or 4 «chicken soft tacos». That’s about the only thing I ever get there. Their «bean and cheese burrito» or «red burritos» are really cheap and will feed you. Their pretty good too.

Yes, it is true; I confess; I am a fan of Del Taco.
I have been eating at Del Taco since I was in high school about 30 years ago. Damn, that is a long time. The burritos are about the same as they were way back then. If you’ve got a good thing going, why fix it?
A couple burritos with mild sauce and I am good to go.

Bad customer service. They always get the order wrong when all I want different is «add sour cream».

I just experienced the worse customer service in this paritcular fast food business.
why expect more? Exactly. It’s sad to know that fast food is always overlooked to be less expected than an industry in the bottom of the tadpole.
Drive thru service was ridiculous. The customer in front of me got one of his bags dropped out of the drive-​thru window because the server carelessly just gave it to him. And when I ordered for something specific, she had no idea what the heck I was talking about. The customer behind me, I overheard her apologize for missing a food item.
Oh well, «It’s what we get for a fast food place»

Del Taco is wack beyond belief but I have no other 24 hour options close to home do I sometimes settle for you.
Often your food is old and and left over from batches cooked long before I get there and your late night staff all hate life and refuse to give me more than 3 del schorcho packets!
I don’t understand anyone ordering any of the seafood items here?
You are next to a highway patrol station.
The only redeeming factor you have is 3 chicken soft taco Thursday for $ 2 and that is it.
Oh and what the F is pollo asado? Stupid wes

So I was looking over my reviews here on Unilocal and I noticed that I either love a place or hate a place, in fact had absolutely no 3 star ratings. This will correct that statistical anomaly:
Dear Del Taco:
Thank you for being average. It never occurred to me to review your restaurant as I pretty much have blocked you out of my mind. When I do visit your establishment (which happens about three times a week) it is done out of involuntary reflex due to hunger pains in my belly. Kinda like Pavlov’s dog but I wouldn’t expect you to know what that is.
Your food is. well OK. yep. on a scale of 1 to 10 give it a C+. I can especially stomach the number 6 combo with fries. Actually I take it back your fries are pretty damn good when you don’t leave them in the fryer too long so thats +1 for you, unfortunately whenever I order my coffee in the morning with no cream you leave about an inch and a half of space for where the cream should be and that just pisses me off –1 point!
You know now that I think of it, most restaurants strive to be the best thing around. But you don’t follow the crowd do you? If every other restaurant jumped off a cliff you would be the only one left standing on the edge huh. In my opinion it takes real cojones to stand apart from the crowd and I commend you for that.
