You make an appointment and they open 20 minutes after your appointment is scheduled, that by law should demand a refund pendejos. Then uou ask for it & they sit there & finish their breakfast first. To top it all off it’s Easter! Terrible, bad experience overall, they don’t care about people, they’re too busy trying to upkeep their image. Hell they’ll let you know straight out they don’t give a f**k bout your business. They never specify a verbal contract and that they did not do refunds. He kept claiming they had a sign. They had two signs but they both stated other things, like they have the right to refuse service, or no merchandise refunds. Words out his mouth: he didn’t know if he still wanted to work on us, so we were left with no choice but to get their overpriced merchandise or come out of the shop with some shitty ass tattoo just because the artist is a moody motherfucker.

2 STARS DUE TO BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, the piercing itself was done nicely. I had been wanting to get my helix on my left ear pierced for a bit so I researched a lot of different places and this one despite the mixed reviews caught my attention. A friend of mine got her helix pierced here for $ 20 which is pretty good considering I had paid 35 to get my right helix pierced. So I called ahead and asked for pricing just to make sure that it was still the same price. The woman who answered the phone didn’t know what a helix was and was very confused then I explained it and she said it was $ 20, so I was like cool still 20 bucks. I arrived and nobody greeted me I was pretty much ignored until a woman walked in she seemed busy since there was a fair going on, I can imagine how hectic it must get. Anyways I understood that she was busy she asked if I needed help I let her know why I was in there and said that I had called and they had said it was 20 bucks she said no a helix piercing is $ 25. I was like okay just a 5 dollar difference still not pricey but it would’ve been nice to been give the correct price over the phone. So we go to the back where she asks me to have s eat and she starts prepping everything. The. Her phone rings and she’s on the phone the entire time, she LITERALLY pierced my ear while she was on the phone –_​– she said all done (it was rather quick) and that was it. No instructions on how to clean it, didn’t ask if I was okay, didn’t have me sign any liability waiver nothing. The piercing itself is nice but the customer service is not that hot. I rather pay a little more and be treated nicely than feel like a bother!

Hooked us up, has good prices and was really helpful thanks you were awesome carlos. I recommend you should come here if you need places to get stuff.

I love that this place is family owned/​ran! I’ve been in here a handful of times because my husband is a tattoo artist. We come here for all his supply needs and every single time we’ve come here, we are always treated so generously by everyone. As far as the comments in regards to people «having a stick up their ass/​horrible customer service» I’ve NEVER witnessed such behavior.

I went in there this morning, not to get a tattoo or a piercing, but because I saw some records on a window so they got my attention. They have a tiny room filled with treasures! KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN: They are $ 50 – 70! The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Doors, almost every classic rock artist! I found a Madonna album «Who’s That Girl» for $ 5.99, now that’s how much I can afford these days :) The guy at the counter was friendly, greeting you and wishing you a good day and to come back soon :)

Not too many shops in Southern California like Charlie’s tattoo supply… Family environment who truely respects themselves and everyone around them… Good people giving a good service while playing good music…
Secret tip:
Ask for Carlos the artist if you want top notch ink done by a private artist at a good price…

Horrible customer service, everybody there looks like they have a stick up their ass i went in on 10÷31÷14 to get snakebites and the piercing on the left side of my lip was higher than the one on my right so i took it out. About a month ½ later on 12÷19÷14 i decided to give the shop one more try i walk in and no one greets you they think you’re doing them a favor i waited 15 min before the piercer who looks like she has a stick up her ass asked if i needed anything i told her i wanted to repierce my left side so she took me in and made me mark the spot where i wanted it to be while giving me a look of hurry up i got better places to belady you’re the piercer you’re supposed to be the one who does that it’s what you’re getting paid for she pierced way too low this time so i took it out after i left the shop she didn’t even sanitize the inside of my lip just save your $$$$ and go to a shop that actually cares about their customers ican only imagine their tattoo work

This place has it all. Tattoo studio/​supplies in OC. It has the largest selection of body modification jewelry I have ever seen. The family that owns it is amazing and very helpful. It also is attached to a skate and headshop. Who knew all under one roof. Come check them out on the east end of 3^rd Street in the Artist village of Santa Ana.
